Kelina attacks Rishima

19 + 6 = 25 Kelina hits!
Damage: rolled 20 + 6 = 26/2 = 13 damage dealt!
Kelinas shot had hit, and even though it just glanced him, it threw him off and he fumbled as he tried to attack. She took this time to steady herself as she aimed. That extra time she had to aim seemed to pay off as her arrow flew straight towards his chest. It seemed like it would be a hard hit!

Rishima dodges.
13 + 5 = 18, dodges completely and retaliates.
13 + 8 = 21/5 = 4.2
Rishima gave a cry of surprise at the girl's next attack, one that he felt might take off his head despite the fact that she wasn't using dangerous arrows at the moment. He threw himself into a slide, one that allowed him to limbo under the attack before he thrust his weapon forward as quickly as he could in a wide, sweeping arc, hoping to knock her feet out from under her...

Kelina tries to Dodge
HP: 1.25/23
19 + 7 = 26 Kelina dodges without any damage and retaliates
19 + 6 = 25 / 5 = 5 damage to Rashima
Her seemingly well aimed shot was only avoided by her opponents nimbleness. She swore quietly to herself but was cut short by his quick jab back at her. Her own flexibility kicked in then as she ducked backwards and twisted herself around before quickly notching a new arrow and releasing it.

Rishima counter attacks Kelina.
HP: 11.75/26
Rishima needs a 13 to hit.
Rolled: 7 ( +8 ) = 15, hits
dmg: 12 + 8 = 20/4 = 5
Kelina's next attack was a good one, one that sent Rishima staggering backwards a couple steps, "Wow, ow..." He said, lifting a hand to rub at his shoulder where he'd been struck pretty hard, a hit that made him more then certain that he was going to have one colorful bruise there in no time. The halfbreed gave his shoulder a quick roll to make sure it was still in working order, his antennae gave a twitch, and he lunged forward toward the girl to once more continue with the battle. Things were getting interesting now and he had to admit that he was having more and more fun as time went on.

Kelina fails to dodge Rishima

7 + 7 = 14 Kelina takes full damage and loses the match
Her last hit had landed! She thought excitedly. Kelina was focused now. It seemed her last hit hurt a little more than the rest because her opponent stopped momentarily to roll his shoulder. She took that time to take a few deep breaths. But as quickly as he had stopped, the battle resumed. He lunged towards her with a new passion it seemed, renewed with vigor and...excitement? Kel too was having fun for her first battle. But, admittedly, she was not as prepared as she should have been. His new vigor seemed to overwhelm her battered body and as his spear slammed into her knee, it was crippling. She fell to her knees, eyes clenched against the pain as he had hit a tender spot. Willing herself not to cry, Kelina raised her hand. She took a moment before she stood, favoring her knee. Picking up her bow from the ground, she kept it at her side. With sweat on her brow, and plenty of bruises on her body, she walked over to her opponent and offered her hand. "Your fighting is amazing, you were so good! I learned a lot for my first battle and I hope it wasn't too boring for you! Good luck in the remainder of the competition, I hope you do well!" Kelina said before walking towards the exit, she raised a hand to those that were clapping for her as she exited the arena.

Rishima gave a sigh of relief when it seemed that the blow he struck was the final one, allowing him to stand up straight and lean against his spear. He allowed himself to catch his breath before he gave the girl before him a smile, "You did really well." He told her, then flushed darkly, his antennae twitching rapidly as she offered him such kind words. He watched her go before he headed toward the exit as well, flushing a bit more as people cheered for him. For a moment there he'd forgotten all about the fact that they were being watched, he was so focused on the match. Now that he was thinking about it though he was going to go have to go and see if he couldn't see who else was fighting at the moment, maybe watch the match that was going to determine his next opponent.
Giving a smile he hurried along to see what was going on in the other battles, a stopping by a healing station to get his wounds tended to. It seemed they wanted the warriors at their best, not that he minded a quick healing session to ease the ache of his various bruises before he was on his way again.
