This could be her chance. His attack had missed, she was back on her feet, and she was ready and waiting to flip this battle. This is where it would be decided. Her arms felt heavy from all of the exertion she already faced, but she would pull through. She just needed one really good attack to make this work.
She pulled another electric charge from her center, sending a lightning bolt toward Oulixes. This had to work was the only thing she could think to herself, but the attack seemed weak. Even if it hit, it didn't look like it would be the tide turner she wanted so badly. Darn.

dmg: 17 (+7 + 3) = 27/2 = 13.5
Oulixes was sent staggering by another of the magic attacks but was able to push through it this time, launching himself up into the air and brought his weapons down at her, aiming for her shoulders this time. The magic was starting to get more and more dangerous, knocking him around now, and it made it that much more imperative that he try to stop the spells from coming his way which meant defeating the caster...

Aminah forfeits the match!
Aminah tried her best to block the oncoming attack, but her time had come. She was moving too slow to do much about it and her arms felt like jello. Oulixes' attack landed in her shoulders, throwing her back and onto the floor.
She rubbed the area with her also sore hands, and got back up on her feet. "You... you win. Today wasn't my day." She smiled at Oulixes between deep breaths. "Good match." She held her hand out to Oulixes to shake.

The moment his blows struck Oulixes was bouncing backwards, weapons raised, ready for her to retaliate once more... only to have her declare him the winner. The halfbreed stood there for a long moment, seeming to be debating whether or not it was a trick, before he finally gave a slow nod of his head. She didn't seem to be preparing to strike him down with magical death the moment he dropped his guard so... maybe she was actually surrendering? That meant that he had won his first match, something that he couldn't help but to be a bit excited over... not that it showed on his features which remained ever dour.
When she held a hand out to him, talking about how it had been a 'good match' he starred at her hand for a long moment. Once he was done appraising it, certain she wasn't up to something, he reached out to give her a quick, awkward shake, before he turned on his heel and hurried out of the arena. He was curious to see who he was battling next and if he could get a bit of rest in between now and then.
