She thought it would make sense, just as a precaution, to attack the creature, even if it did appear to be dead, but she wasn't risking it.
But before she could do even that, the Boss has disintegrated before she could.

There was someone else who shared his interests. the grin Maiden had only grew bigger as he turned to the other companion and nodded. "Its always fun to pillage and had company in doing so." he barked up loudly and waved. I'm Maiden, nice to meet you." The name still sounded foreign on his lips, there was no getting used to it, but it was his title.
