She gave her new companions and Kaje a nod of encouragement, catching catching the smile from the newcomer. He wasn't doing too bad, considering he didn't have a weapon. Rhryse slipped on over and gave him a small hug, accompanied by a smile. "Keep up the work!" Huh, how curious. It seemed some of those newer weapons had some extra tricks up their sleeves, or... whatever the saying was, he wasn't too sure. Needless to say, they were different. And... better? It made him want one more. This need, this hunger for power though, it startled him.
Another foreign emotion was triggered when Rhryse hugged the newcomer, a more unpleasant one, not quite yearning or longing for anything. Anger? He wasn't quite sure, nor did he know why, as he had already witnessed this last time (and had been quite put off by it).

Kin blinked at the hug he was given, it was the first time he had been acknowledged by another glowing heart before and the contact left him feeling warm. Nodding back he smiled through his surprise "I will" he promised "thank you" he said before he glanced back at the monster launching another bare handed attack. Kin growled having missed completely after telling the one he would do well and immediately launched another attack toward the beast to make up for his previous failure. Unfortunately this time his attack missed again and he cursed inaudibly under his breath at a second failure. Kin snarled as he got knocked aside by the monster, he was so weak! But he knew the only way to get stronger was to keep trying. With all of his rage building up Kin finally did some damage finally and landed on his feet this time, vital chunks of the monster hanging from his hands at his shoulders heaved up and down. He wasn't sure, though, if he had the energy to continue. "I know you will! I'm Rhryse, by the way." Battles were not the time for names, but she said it anyway. "You guys are making a mess out of it!" She was doing her best to cheer for her new friends, and it seemed to be working. The girl with the guns was pretty good at this. Very good. Kaje wasn't doing to badly either. She gave Kin another pat on the shoulder. "That's the way, just like that!" He got in an alright hit. Not too shabby, either. "It'll get easier the more you practice." Kin smiled "i'm Kin" he said before seeing an opportunity to strike again thanks to the kind girl healing him. Kin shredded the last remains of the monster with his fangs and threw up his arms, his first battle had been a success as he ran to the girl and gave her a hug "I couldn't have done it without you" he exclaimed excitedly.
