"THAT!" He called after Kieyrr, gesturing as if that somehow explained things. Maybe he meant their unfortunate situation. It was almost laughable by this point. Balling up his fists, Clairins raised his eyes to the creeper, and showed a sudden flash of competence as he punched it squarely in its eye.

His brows raised at the bickering between the two of his... companions? But he shakes his head in response to them. Trying to go back and defeat the thing that he and Soliette weren't able to. That? THAT!? That that did not explain anything when it came to whatever the hell they were talking about. Giving a growl of frustration he waved his hands and sent his gun flying.
The good thing is it ended up hitting the beast. The bad thing is he once again lost his gun.

He was distracted by the two of them and wasted his time. He was too late to attack because now the enemy just slashed at him and he groans. Probably the only sound he's made this entire battle. His anger was boiling over, and no longer was he thinking rationally. Clenching his fists he ignored the clunking beast in the background and charged at Clairins. He didn't care anymore. If they "Died" they would reform anyway, and it wasn't like he was going to lose out on anything.

And then, by some bizarre stroke of luck, whether it was a misplaced punch, or kick, or maybe even a bite (Clairins refused to admit he resorted to something so barbaric), he struck the monster, and then...
It fell. It didn't get up.
