Nicole didn't say anything in response to his objection that he was ruggedly handsome but she did give him an one over and then took another look. What was she thinking on that subject? Well, that was definitely a tightly kept secret between Nicole and Svartalfheim.
"So it would be much more appropriate if we went to second base?" She asked him with a smirk of a smile.
"Oh, it is Svartalfheim. I know, I know. It is such a mouthful. Maybe I should just be called Alfheim."

"Well I'm afraid that name, along with all it entails, is taken," Noah said with a snort. "The name, the stupid armor, the empty city, the creepy dead ancestor lady, the whole shebang is unfortunately all mine."
And then he shrugged a little, "Besides, I am pretty sure my clingy sister would kill me for it if I could give it all away."
He glanced around, looking where they'd come from and where they were going. "You don't have a car or something?" The walk was getting excruciating. He would kill for Mimi or Zia's mirrorwalking powers right about now.

"How weird," she said matter of frankly before moving on
Did she have a car? No. However, she did have something else nearby. It wasn't super close, which is why they had to walk, because she didn't want to link her powered identity to her plates but it was in sight now. She gave him a reassuring smile, looking up at him slightly less far than usual thanks to him using her to walk.
"I don't have a car but that's my bike over there," she said, pointing to a silver and black Honda VFR800. "Unfortunately, I only have one helmet here so unless you want to sit on it while I pull it that's not going to be anymore useful. You don't want to sit on it, do you?"

Noah had a brief moment of navel gazing where he was focused on the bike and how much he wanted it, and not what she was saying.
It did sink in, though.
"Wha-- are you kidding me?!" The nerve! "I got a bum leg and you're going to make me walk to the hospital? Because of a stupid helmet law?"
That was just mean. Seriously, Nick. He decided from this point on he was going to start calling her 'Nikki' or Nicole in petty revenge if it bothered her so ******** this, help me down this side street up here, my apartment's closer than the stupid hospital." Maybe it would be better after some pain relievers and a beer anyway. And if it wasn't, he could just call Marco or Zia. People with cars and stuff.

The silence Noah was having was a little strange but Nicole brushed it off as a simple pain pause. Or at least until he complained about her offering to push him! The nerve! She had helped him walk all the way here and then even offered to take him to the hospital on her bike and this is the thanks she gets? There was a delicate expression on her face that bordered smile to frown and it was shifting fast.
"Excuseeeee me?" She said with a bit of an attitude as if she was about to lecture someone. Well, it wasn't as if she was going to lecture someone because she actually was. Her vivid eyes seemed to glow under the street lights as her head lifted the right angle to look Noah in his face. Leather shoes bent forward as she leaned up, crossing an arm over her hip in the process, she got her face quite closer to the man using her for support.
"So instead of simply a bum leg you would like some head trauma as well? It's not a stupid law and it is only there to protect you. Do you understand how guilty I would feel if I let you ride without a helmet and then something happened? I don't think you do. It would be my fault. I would be liable. My license would be liable and very likely even my career would be liable."
You might have thought the lecture was over but it wasn't.
"Just to make this clear, in no way did I threaten to make you walk all the way to the hospital. I offered to push you there so if you make the decision to walk anywhere that's on your own accord. I understand you're in pain but I only want to help you."
She did only want to help him, and that is where the lecture ended because saying it drove it home for her. She lectured because she was concerned but pushing the man into a corner and tearing their relationship anymore than him trying to kill her with a pie was not something she wanted. So, if getting him to the hospital would be harder on him than taking him home then so be it. She could always make him go to the hospital later, or come back with her car.
She didn't say anything else to him for the moment, silently turning toward the side street. It wasn't until they'd walked far enough away that she could no longer see the bike behind them that she broke it.
"I have a car at home. If you aren't feeling any better later I can give you a lift."
It was just a thought.

"Oh, I'm sorry~" Noah responded, the mockery obvious in his voice. "I wasn't aware prissy pie pants had such a boner for 'the law'," Here is where he made air quotes, except on arm was clinging to her where he was leaning on her for support so his fingers just kind of nudged into her side.
He honestly didn't think the helmet issue was that lame. He was pretty careful about keeping his on when he rode his own bike, but at the same time, he wasn't going to neglect one ride if he didn't have it.
Laws are more like guidelines, right?
But he considered is childish response gentle ribbing in regards to her seriousness, because he didn't actually take offense to her lecture. He did think her suggestion to push him was stupid and was not going to happen, but outright telling her that might make her drop him on the sidewalk and leave him to crawl home.
"Ah, you don't have to, I can get my buddy to haul my a** down there if i need 'im to," Noah said, pushing his way into the lobby. They were fairly upscale apartments, but he was a business owner, in spite of all shaggy appearances. And after the insurance payouts this year, it was possible they would turn a profit for once, so one could even say he was a successful business owner.
Oh ho ho, he was fancy.
"Oh thank god, elevator," He said as he stumbled in through the open doors and clung to the handrail, lovingly grateful someone had the presence of mind to invent such things so he didn't have to attempt stairs. This was half where he expected her to just leave him to hobble down his hallway on his own.

"Oh," she said, sighing in a soft coo. "Just imagine how I feel after a loooooooong day of work," she said in suggestion, playing along with his mockery. However, after a few seconds her personality went right back to where it was and with the palm and side of her hand she teasingly hit the back of his head. It was gingerly, playful even, as she followed with a laugh.
"You know, why didn't you say your apartment was this close in the first place?" She asked with a tone that was obviously half joking but still a totally serious question. She didn't need to say it would have saved them a lot of trouble and dispute but she still felt the need to give him a look. She couldn't help but look at his pained expression. It could have been simpler.
She simply nodded at him when he said he had a buddy who could drive him, using this chance to look around the lobby of the apartment complex. It wasn't a terrible building, not at all what she expected. Owning your own business was so risky these days that she had the impression he'd be living in a shady neighbour hood where the walls are thin enough you can hear the drug junkies next door.
Upon arrival to the elevator, Nicole watched as he stumbled in. He might have thought she'd watch him as the doors closed but instead she stepped into the elevator with him and then turned to him when the doors closed and then quite casually asked, "Which floor?"

"Sounds like your porn would be very boring," Noah had snarled before getting smacked.
He just kind of shrugged a bit. "Well I was hoping you had a car or something. I wasn't going to share the whereabouts of my secret lair with a random terrorist cop lady," he joked. But there was a grain of truth in there. How trustworthy was she? Cops were hunting senshi in the streets and here she was running around as a knight. Switching back and forth between hunter and hunted wasn't how you gained anyone's trust.
"Ninth," He looked kind of stunned she followed him, and just blinked stupidly as he gave his floor number.
"You don't have to follow me, I can hobble down the hall in my own," he insisted. Really. Please. Don't, two faced knight lady.
When they got to his floor, he did lean against the wall. Unfortunately he still needed help to get to his door.

Nicole's tap on the back of his head had been quite just, especially when he made it so easy. It is like he couldn't keep his mouth shut, and just kept going and going and going. She'd met worse, of course, and obviously he wasn't a huge blabbermouth but she could have gone for a gag for that last comment. That would show him just how boring her porn would be.
"Nine? It must have a decent view," she said as she pressed the button and turned to face him with a smile. How could this face lie?
"I understand you want to do it yourself but I simply must insist. I've gotten you this far, let's try and bring it home without any further stress to your leg," her voice was a little softer than usual as she got close enough to him for him to lean against and extended her hand out to him.

"Yeah it's okay," Noah said with a grimace at the pain. "Nice view, plenty of space. No yard, though."
Heaven involved a lawn and an outdoor kitchen, he was sure. That is probably why he spent most weekends at Marco's. But he wasn't going to be spending week doing anything if he crippled himself, so he transitioned from clinging to the wall like invalid Spiderman and back to her with a groan.
He needed to grab on to keep from falling over at the massive sting of pain from the weight shift, but after his mind cleared and the fuzzy spots faded out of vision, he quickly shifted his hands to more appropriate places on his rescuer's torso, trying to avoid seeming like he was copping a feel or anything.
She was such a dude he hadn't really registered the fact that she was a girl, and now things just seemed kind of awkward.
"Ah, this door." He dug out his keys and shoved the unlocked door open. The apartment itself was nice, though there didn't seem any rhyme or reason to the furniture styles. Dark and neutral colors, piles of clutter and papers all over. Damaged dry wall from Harley's adventures.
"Couch!" He sounded almost gleeful as he released Nichole and dove on it. And instantly regretted the impact, but squishing his face into the microfiber cushions made everything so much better.

"Same here," she said with a foolhardy grin. It would be a nightmare if she had a yard to take care of though, especially a garden. Considering the amount of work she put into her condo daily, it would have to be short of a miracle for her to add lawn and garden care onto that. There would be no way she could bear having a lawn that wasn't properly tended and her life couldn't take anymore necessities like that.
Priding herself in being one of the guys, Nicole hadn't noticed when he grabbed her chest to help himself to his feet until after he moved his hands. Acknowledging the fact he moved his hands as an acknowledgement of his error, Nicole hadn't said anything but a small hint of red hit the top of her cheekbones. Awkward silence? Definitely, but it was probably better than either of them actually talking about it.
She kept her mouth closed while he dug his keys out and shoved the door opened. Purple eyes gazed over his apartment rather immediately she discovered that his apartment was horrifying to her taste. There was no reason to the decor or organization to the objects in the room. It wasn't especially shocking given she'd seen what he did with the diner organization but her inner voice couldn't help but cry. How could he just leave piles of clutter and paper all over the place? However, the worst was definitely the wall.
Was it recent? If she knew it had been there for as long as it was she'd have been appalled that he hadn't fixed it, or at least covered the shame.
"Ah, wai— " she called out too late as he blissfully released himself away from her safety netting and then landed on the couch. The impact had to have hurt so she kneeled down next to the couch.
"Are you all right there?"

"Fine," Came the muffled response while he kept his head buried inside a pillow. But he rolled over and groaned, recoiling one leg up and leaving the injured one flat on the couch.
"I think there's some ice in the freezer... uh... please?"
After a second he ponder, "A beer might be better." At least he could drink that.
His home might've been a droll and neutral colored clutterfest, but his kitchen was in decent shape. The fridge and freezer were both neatly organized with meticulously packed and preserved food of various colors. His leftovers were separated and wrapped and sealed in a strange brand of paranoia and there even seemed to be a system to this madness
Stark contrast to the piles of papers on his table and the hole in the drywall.

"Mm, all right," she replied simply. He did say please and he was injured. How could she say no to that?
Nicole didn't seem to have any problem digging through Noah's fridge but she did find it strange how neatly everything was organized. For a minute she thought that perhaps she'd stumbled through a hole in the wall and ended up in a dimension where she actually had food in her fridge. If she did have food in her fridge, it would have looked exactly like this! She seemed to have a bit of suspicion on her face as she grabbed a beer out and called to Noah.
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
It was after this she brought the beer over to him.

"Ugh, well," Noah groaned as he propped himself up on the arm of the couch and reached out to grab the beer.
"Nope, totally available. Why? You interested?" He teased as he popped the top off the bottle and took a deep swing before he rested it on his knee.
"Actually, I know I'm pretty irresistible and roguishly handsome, but I don't think I'm up for whatever you've got planned seein' as how I'm injured and all."

Originally Nicole had been suspicious of why the fridge was so organized that it could compare to the whole level of her condo so she thought maybe Noah had a girlfriend but his immediate response of a no fought her pondering her very belief of this man. Did this mean there was a part of him that was as organized as she was? It was a great lead in to his entire reply. Her smile grew wide as a mile as she was about to laugh but instead of laughing she found a bit of control over herself and instead her smile shifted to something a bit more suggestive as her hand fell to her waist.
"You make it sound like if it weren't for your injury you'd be up for what I've got planned." She said this rather flatly, in a tone that hinted joke while her body suggestion she might be serious, her eyes judging him for a reaction.
