It was his favorite goddess. The one where he started, the one that offered him cookies and had the same color as him. All the other goddesses were important, but he felt possessive to this one. Not knowing much, she was the only one he could stake any claim of home.

Like she had promised, she had made more cookies, and coming to her, he took one, already having a nearly frosting-less one in his pocket and allowed himself to eat this one.

While he couldn't exactly remember what he had been up to with the other goddesses, he never felt good after. Still, he felt more....solid than he had before, and things were coming and going in his mind. They were usually flashes of images and thoughts, but never stayed long enough to play out with full understanding. If anyone could help him, it was HIS goddess.

At her question, he smiled. "I do." He loved her the most out of all the other goddesses because she was there for him at the start, and she was blue. Blue felt like home, and since he was blue, it held the most promise for understanding and answers.

He didn't know if he actually liked tea or ever had been to a tea party, but he could not refuse and didn't want to. With all the fighting, it was nice to be someplace guarded by a goddess and just be with her alone. Following past the gate, he walked his way to the table.

He sipped the tea slowly, feeling more cold than warmed in his stomach, and shivered as the taste filled his mouth. Looking at the bottom of his cup, his vision swirled as memories boiled to the surface.

The rich smell of open earth and wood rot rose up in waves from under him. The room, lined with dark stone, glistened and shimmered as shiny bodies caught the glow of the flashlights above. Rays of light shot down upon his head and upon his sore, bare legs that bled blue upon the soil around him.

"Please...." He called out, voice high pitched and cracking, swallowing and tasting dirt. "Please, help me!" He cried, vision blurring as he rose a hand up, slightly stained blue, to block the lights and make out the blackened shapes of his friends. Their small, soft faces looked dull gray under the backdrop of night falling upon them all inside of the abandoned building's interior.

"Mike's getting his dad!" A girl called, and he shivered as another sob wracked his body. That was too far. It would to late. He needed out now. Couldn't they understand?!

Shaking, he reached into the soft, wet dirt around him as he grabbed his flashlight and shook it again, trying to keep the light from flickering on and off. "NOoooo! Help me! Get me out now! I need out!" He rose up on his knees, but his legs sang in pain. He couldn't climb out. He couldn't reach for anything.

"It's okay! We're here!" He called, even as he saw a few of the faces leave out of view to get help, but as he looked up, he saw their own panic. They were afraid, and he felt the chill that they were thinking about running away. The threat of punishment coupled with the responsibily demanded of them in this moment was too much.

"Don't go! Don't go! Get me out! They're here! I need out! I don't want to be here! Help me! Ple -" He caught his breath as he looked around, shooting his flashlight to the ground where the halo of flashlights above ended and the darkness of the room began. The glimmer of green and clicking as slender, dark figured jumped back and moved, twisting and turning on top of rising and falling piles his eyes could barely focus on but knew was there. The room breathed, and he felt suffocated by how alive it all was.

Again, he felt it, and he turned to point his flashlight as a slender centipede skirted the halo of light, and he shook his own flashlight to flash upon it, sending it scattering back, hissing, before merging into the pulsing mass in the dark. "They're getting closer!" He cried, reaching up, but each cry of panic only made the few figures still left sink back, and now there was only two faces.

"What? It's okay! Your dad will be here soon! It's okay, ___!" They cried, voice cracking as the girl started to sob. The other face sank back out of view leaving only one face left and only one ray of her flashlight. The halo below was smaller.

It was a face he knew now. The hair a vibrant gold and the eyes a brilliant blue. What was she doing here?

"Sophie?"

"You're going to be okay." She assured him, confused, eyes always on him and taking no notice of the insects swirling around him. He looked around, seeing more and more of the centipedes move in, circling the halo of light he now stood in, barely covering him.

"I don't want to be alone. Don't go! The-The-They'll get meee." He whined, blue tears streaming down his face, but the girl only watched, confused.

He heard voices, and the girl turned, looking down at him. "They're here." She said, excited and relieved to no longer be in charge. "Don't go! No! Stay here!!" She rushed away,

"Come back! Don't go!!"

The light was taken. The hissing rose.

The glow of green started, and he held his flashlight as he looked at the open hole in the ceiling, shivering as he felt the tiny limbs of little bodies touch his bare legs, and ankles, rising to the hem of his shorts, twisting and turning to flood between his legs and under and over his shirt before rising against his neck.

He reached out, pushing against them frantically to shove them away, but there were more, and he pressed his hands into the sea of glowing green light and the hissing that rang in his ears to see if he could rise and they only weighed him down. From above, he saw the faces return, watching and smiling, happy to have brought help, and in no way alarmed at the bugs that rose and swallowed the light as they spilled upon his brow.

Colour of Tea Tasted: Dark Blue
Description: Earthy, like damp soil. Escalating despair as lights go out one by one.

Your commentary on its flavour: The sensation of earth and soil is pleasant at first, but then Linswo shudders when he can almost feel bugs crawling across his bare skin. No, this tea wasn't pleasant at all. He folds his hand together as the tea's owner waves his flashlight around and his pleas seem to rise higher and higher when the lights slowly disappear. No, don't do that. Why would you do that? That's the last thing anyone should do. Don't ever turn out the lights. He can still feel the bugs crawling when the memory finishes.

Colour of Tea Tasted: Dark Blue
Description: Cold, Dark, Heavy

Your commentary on its flavour: He smelled it before he tasted it, the heavy rich aroma of the tea, a scent he found himself drawn to. The taste was dense, filled with flavour, and despite himself, he found himself attached to it. Yet it wasn't until the cup was half full (or was it empty?) that he noticed it was cold. Had it been left sitting out for too long? Forgotten? The fear of being alone, the fear of losing the thing that brought him comfort, it echoed the helplessness from his own memory, and he had to put down the cup, burdened by the feelings. The sense of loss, of fear, fear of the unknown, fear of what would come. It left him with an unpleasant feeling, and he had to put the cup down. He only hoped that that person found a way out of it, that they didn't let fear and despair overwhelm them, as it had him.
