Mimi sat down and blushed a bit, "Actually, I um.... I ran about 37 miles from my home." She said. "That was before those men started to chase me."

"why would you do that?" Domenick asked as he ran over to sit on the couch arm beside Mimi, tilting his head as he played with her ears softly "you shouldn't be running around like that. besides, it would keep you out of trouble wouldn't it?" he giggled
Jeremy looked back at mimi, trying to listen to her a little more as he cooked dinner beside bayer and moved around the kitchen quietly

Mimi blushed deeply when he started to play with her ears. They moved to avoid him in a sort of play, "I like to run. I think its my rabbit nature but I just love it." She said smiling, "I run all the time but I'm usually back before night fall. But most of the time I get into some sort of trouble and my brother has to come save me."

"Maybe you need to die a red string around your ankle so you know what direction you came in" domenick asked but Audrey poked the boy's forehead to make him stop pestering her ears "well, in any case, you're welcome to stay as long as you need until your brother can pick you up" she nodded.
Bayer came back from the kitchen and smirked before reaching out to bet the girl's ears back "until then, it's time for dinner so everyone get your asses to the kitchen before our hard work goes cold" he grinned as Jeremy was setting plates of pork chops and beans on the table

Mimi followed them all and sat down where she was told. She ended up sitting next to Jeremy. She looked up at him and smiled a bit before digging in to eat with everyone.

Jeremy looked down at Mimi and blushed, looking down at his plate as he easily tore the pork chops apart to take small bites. bayer and Audrey sat down to eat across the table but the girl glanced over at domenick and mimi. the boy unwrapped his face as if nothing was wrong, his cracked-looking skin exposed along with his sharp teeth as he giggled and ate the meat happily

Mimi glanced at Domenick but didn't freak out. She had seen a lot in her past. She kept eating knowing she didn't want to cause attention to the boy.
A mile away Godrik sniffed the ground, "She is over there. In a house." Claudia growled and bent the horse whip in her hand, "That... stupid.... girl..." She growled as they marched over.

the four siblings were eating calmly until they all stopped smelling someone coming closer to their house. Jeremy stood and held onto mimi's shoulder gently as Audrey walked with bayer behind her to wait at the front door calmly

Mimi blinked a bit seeing everyone move. She raised her nose to sniff and blinked, "Its my brother and sister." she said and got up running from the house faster than anyone could react. She stopped in front of Godrik. "Mimi. There you are. Are you hurt?" "I'm not brother." She said softly. Claudia bent the whip, "What did I tell you about running off?" She growled her tail twitching angrily.

Audrey blinked seeing the whip and she glared before her arm tensed up. the wind picked up around them and brought mimi back quickly to the door "I'm sorry miss, but if you're here to pick up this young girl, you're going to have to put that whip away. Immediately" she said, speaking like an older woman despite her size

Mimi gasped a bit when the wind brought her back. Godrik looked at Claudia with and arched brow. Claudia scoffed a bit, "You actually believe I would hit my own sister?" She whipped the air to bring the whip to her side. "I bend it to relieve stress." She said glaring, "Now who are you and why are predators like you holding onto my little sister?"

"you could have fooled me." Audrey said before crossing her arms "and I am not 'holding onto' her. I'm trying to protect her from what looks like a threatening enemy in front of me. just like my little brother had protected her when men were going to take her and make her into a rabbit dinner." she huffed out as Jeremy came over and kneeled to lift Mimi up and set her in front of her siblings "enough. .they came to take her home. let's not fight. ." he said and pet the girl's ears back softly

Godrik's eyes widened a bit hearing what had happened to her. Mimi gasped when she was picked up and set down. She blushed when her ears were pet. "Is that true Mimi? Were you attacked?" Godrik asked. Mimi bit her lip and nodded. Godrik looked up at Jeremy, "Thank you for saving her. I am Godrik and this is Claudia. We are in your debt for saving our sister." He said before turning. "Come on now girls. Lets go home." Claudia grumbled stalking off with Godrik. Mimi started to walk but stopped. She turned and bent a bit before jumping up high to kiss Jeremy on the cheek. "I'll see you again." She said and ran after her siblings blushing.

Jeremy blinked when she had bent and thought something was wrong until he blushed feeling the kiss on his cheek. he rubbed his neck and looked down unsure before heading into the house to try and figure out what the kiss was for.

A month passed and Mimi was sitting in the forest nibbling on a carrot. She hummed a bit watching Godrik and Claudia five feet away trying to hunt a deer. Their home was under some tree roots just behind her.
