 (x2 finishing blow) Something glinted in the wreckage, and Rojand moved cautiously forward to scoop it out of the goopy, dissolving remains. Things that glowed gentle gold, with edges that looked like they should be sharper than they were. He tucked them away into his pocket and sidled back, keeping a careful eye on the other scavengers. They had worked together to kill the thing, and knowing others was good, but he was never quite sure how far he could trust anyone.

Ironshare knelt down, now familiar with the process, and holding his weapon in one hand, added another shining object to his collection.
He looked at the ragtag group and stood, a certain gleam in his eye, but he kept the thing that had just occured to him quiet for now. If a creature without a heart left behind so many treasures, what would one with a heart leave?
"We're going after them whether they attack or not," he said, but looked interested by the Other who also had a not-sword.
"They've got color," he said, significantly. "And yeah. I think it's us. Part of us, anyway." He turned the blade this way and that. "I think we created something."

When the yellows were done picking, he moved over, looking at the puddled mass with a frown. He really didn't want to touch something that was melting, but he also wanted to see what he would find. Curious, he knelt down carefully and picked as quickly and as carefully as he could without getting too gross and pulled out a dripping blade.
Yellow. Did Yellow mean strong? Whatever it meant, he still felt that pull that he was looking for something. Searching. Whatever it was, this gold blade wasn't it.
He shook it off, moving to dip it into the waters near the shrine before putting it into his pocket with the other piece of metal. "Thanks...uh...Yellow people." He never got their names. He had been asking other questions that had distracted him. "I'm Velmin." If that mattered. Was he suppose to just stick with the other blues or just anyone? Were there any colors other than yellow and blue? What did the colors mean? He had so many questions.

"Velmin," Rojand said, and filed away that piece of information. He didn't know why he hesitated before offering his own name. "I'm Rojand."
He gave the other yellow's weapon a curious, thoughtful look. "Did you make yours out of yellow pieces? Or did it just become yellow?" He held up his sword, placing his free hand against the flat of the blade. "Mine came from red pieces," he added. To get information, you had to give information.

"Out of yellow pieces, that's right," Ironshare said. And introducing himself, he put a hand on his chest. "Ironshare."
He rooted through the mist again, but found nothing.
"There's always enough for everybody," he mused.

Rojand took one of the yellow pieces back out of his pocket and looked at it thoughtfully. "I wonder if these are hearts," he mused.
