Ok she liked this girl a lot more now (though she already did... sort of).

Alright, all patching together done, she had some killing to do. So once more taking her sword up she quickly lunged at the thing. If by nothing more than pure luck she managed to sink the sword in rather deeply before being kicked back again. "BAD KITTY!"

She was totally getting the hang of this sword thing. Seriously! "IT CUTS REALLY WELL!" Her voice was sing-song as she hacked at the monster with it a bit more, grinning cheerily until it smacked her soundly and sent her sitting on her butt.

And then, as her friend managed to take it down(because she was AWESOME) she found a little yellowy shard rolling to her feet.
