"Whew." Breuse breathed a sigh of relief. At least no one had fainted, like in his first battle. "Uh, my name's Breuse."

Amati blinked owlishly at the smoking gun in her hand, wondering how something so small could have the potential for so much power. She looked up again as Ixy addressed her. "Oh, um, yes, you too," she replied, shaking her head. The weapon she possessed would be something to ponder and disassemble and investigate later, maybe after she was sure she would no longer need it. These creatures seemed to appear with alarming frequency, though, so until that time, she was just going to have to wait and hope it kept working.

"I do hope everyone's okay. My name is Amati, and it's nice to meet all of you. I wish it had been under better circumstances, but it is what it is, I guess."
