Despite the fact they were fighting this...thing, Ixyguin was trying not to laugh at the whole tasting business. Yeah, she supposed no one would know if they didn't try, but...

Deciding that she should probably make up for that none-too-impressive hit just now, she lashed out at the enemy just as it hit her, her attack just barely brushing the surface of the unusual creature.

Fortunately, her next attempt turned out a fair bit better than the last. Although it was anything but powerful, her strike was a lot more solid than her previous attempts. Was she finally getting used to this fighting business? The movements felt kind of foreign to her still--she was still trying to adjust to her body--but it wasn't as bad at least. Still, that being said...

Tougher, but not headstrong. Maiden almost wanted to collapse on the floor as the grey negative image of a a person began to charge in with reckless abandon. "Are you going to try and bite it again, wait up!" following right after it, the buddy system was in place. And tackling it to the ground. "Err should I say sorry to it?" he wanted to ask the others, before letting out a yelp and rolling away from the thing that kicked him in the butt. "How rude!" Zihyu suddenly ran forward and barreled right into the thing with a rather aggressive tackle. Just because she could.
It was a pretty good tackle for someone of her small stature. Wow. Woooooow. Those last few attacks just now, that was--
"You guys are really impressive," She chirped, her voice filled with awe, "I don't know what that thing was, but it's down now, thank goodness for that!"
Moving forward to eye the items that had been dropped, she hesitated for a moment before crouching down and picking one of them up.
