As he moved past the young girl she didn't seem to say anything, he closed the door behind him carefully as he took a good glance around the room, it was so old, so vast in knowledge. He had certainly come to the right place, but would this old man be worth the time? Time, it was a pity it moved so fast sometimes. "im in search for a very special area, and i just so thought that you may be able to predict where the next Full Moon will appear" he paused for a second, slyly looking down by his shoulder where he could almost make out the girl holding closely to her weapons. He wanted to smile. Cotninueing he said "You know... where it will stare directly down to, on the ground".
Horad took his time to reply, there was an obvious tension in the air. "I couldn't tell you, i'm a scholar not an astronomer, Michael..." ((ooo, sassy Caiin)). He narrowed his eyes at the old man's protest. "But you seem to take note of them very closely" he said, looking over to a parchment unrolled on one of the tables. It revealed patterns of astronomical alignments. Then Horad paused, and he didn't want the conversation to go on any longer. This was not Michael Maues, he knew right from the start that this was Zoltan Maues. Most had forgotten his face, and even though he must admit it has changed slightly, he could never forget it. He caused such an uproar! Made people think they could stand up against the Guildeam! Well last time that happened... the Injustira Syndicate was less than tolerable.
After some long seconds to think the old scholar sighed, eh then blinked slowly before answering "... Why are you here... Zoltan". Then Maues raised his head in slight shock. He then grinned and chuckled slightly under his cold breath. "guess the oldest are certainly the wiser" he commented. "I'm here for exactly what i asked, old man. " he then turned to the girl and scornfully glared whilst warning "And you're not going to stop me from getting an answer, either".

Ruby stayed on her guard staring intensely at the young male. The question was, why did he care so much to learn about astronomical events? At first the man seemed hesitate for his answer, but continued to try and convince Horad to give him the answer. Even Caiin shrugged him off wanting to drop the conversation immediately. Ruby wasn't sure, but the old man looked as if he knew this guy and was waiting for the right time to mention it. Did he know this male when he first entered the old man's domain? The room feel silent and Ruby knew that the scholar was ready to take charge of the situation.
He stated Micheal's true name, Zoltan Maues. He is connected to Alexis' fathers case, however, the problem was getting the information out of him. She seriously doubted Zoltan would give her the benefit of knowing a secret like that. He turned to her and gave her a crud warning and of course Ruby scoffed. His arrogance will defiantly be his downfall at least in her opinion. Although, she was reckless so she wasn't much better off than he. Taking her guns out of her holsters slowly, she stared into his cold eyes.
She couldn't keep her cockiness contained and had to make a thoughtless comment. "Was that a threat? Believe me, you have no idea who your up against." The ablino glanced at Horad for a moment to see how he was hold up and she gave him 'I will protect you no matter what' look.

It seemed like Horad wasn't going to speak, what a shame, it would be unfortunate to have to torture him for answers. Then the brat spoke, and she spoke as if it were actually possible to be a threat to him. Exhaling cheaply, his eyes became slits as he looked over his shoulder again and said immediately after her comment "- a pale-faced girl and what army? I know who you are... The Girl With No Name, you've been dubbed in the papers." he chuckled, turning to face her completely. "Last time i checked... you three don't travel alone. Oh, what a pity" his tone grew dark and sinister, Caiin's gaze became more worried at that precise moment. "looks like another Truesdale is open for fire and the airy one is drifting by i presume. ". He spoke about Truesdale like he enjoyed the sound of destroying her, he obviously knew something about Alexis and her family.
Horad then spoke up, after whatever it is Ruby might say and spoke wisely with "They will..." he stopped to pull together his mind before admitting "... find you... " it was like he was admitting his own defeat already. "Whoever they are, Team Elixer, the syndicate, heaven forbid the Casters or better yet the Angels themselves!"
But then Zoltan spoke without looking back to the old man and said "I hope that they do" ((btw, feel free to make a lethal blow on him, i have some tricks up his sleeve xD))

His expression scared Ruby to death even though she didn't show it. Maues made a sly comment about who she was, but he didn't need to tell her what she all ready knew. Name or not, she was still going to kick his ignorant a** and then some. "No army, just me." She replied simply, almost converting back to R.E.D. She was acting like she didn't need anyone's assistance, but she knew deep down that she was nothing without her team. Suddenly, the male made a gut turning statement about her friend. He was hiding the truth about Alexis' father, and she figured she would have to beat it out of him. The girl was about to retaliate when Horad defied Zoltan for her. She gave the old man a glance and after Zoltan's feedback she raising her guns. "Enough talk!"
She triggered the white gun first which held a fire bullet. Only mere seconds after, the black gun shot out a blizzard bullet. The fire bullet exploding right in front of the male, and the blizzard bullet froze the flames in place. This was a tactic her used to block her opponents view of her. Place her guns together to expose her blade, she dashed forward cutting horizontally through the block of ice. Hopefully, Zoltan was right behind the ice the so she could slice through him as well. That was was the whole idea of the move any way. The top chuck of ice slowly started to slice off of its base. She waited still ready for combat in case the man survived. (I hope this is okay. I know its not to impressive, but I don't want to overpower her either. Maybe later on when its absolutely necessary. Have fun^^)

As soon as he had finished speaking, he saw something move before him, the brat had fast reflexes and now he could perhaps begin to understand how she managed to defeat the Maiden of Torment once upon a time. Wide-eyed he saw a flash, like an angel's descent before his skin boiled with heat. Amongst the flames Horad cain covered his eyes with his arm and when the heat dulled down he was greeted by a massive flurry of ice. It was beautiful in its own right, a moment frozen in time, but inside it concealed something horrible, something evil. For a brief moment he believed that she had succeeded when he witnessed her blade cut straight through the ice chunk, like a glacier's iceberg cut in two. Then he began rummaging for something amongst his scrolls around him on tables and shelves that he could reach from his chair.
As the ice cold smoke seemed to settled, after the block of ice had hit the ground and smashed into a thousand pieces, Zoltan's body still remained intact. Though, he wasn't without his wounds. His waist seemed only intact by his spine, the slice kept together by strands of what would seem thick blood. His body flung down as his arms and hands kept himself up like poles against the bottom ice. As his skin tightened under his constricting muscles, flesh of his forearms exposed, like very clean muscles. Then he looked up and stared at her, with a grin. But one side of his face has exposed muscles, however, there was one uncertainty. There were no normal skull beneath his skin. It was like a mask made of bone beneath his flesh. Then as he sighed all his wounds seemed to heal. For someone so youthful looking... almost handsome, he held something ugly beneath what appeared.
"Sorry to deny you the pleasure of killing me..." he muttered "I know you would enjoy it" he then commented with one final act. Everything suddenly seemed to move in slow motion, though not in real life, but to him he could move with such speed. He broke from the ice and swung behind him and round again to deliver an elbow to Ruby's side, forcing her out of the door and onto the cliff edge street followed by wooden debris. As if he had never been hurt in the first place he glanced over his shoulder to see Caiin who had muttered already "I'm sorry, Ruby." as one scroll unfurled just like Lucas' had before into an oblong blue portal before he vanished through it and the humming hole in space closed shut. "uhh!!!" stressed Maues as he scornfully glared at the doorway and ran outside to find Ruby, not hurt too much by his fast but not too powerful attack. Now he was irritated, that old man knew where the last moon will directly touch the earth, Zoltan will have to work it out by himself!

The ice seemed to fall in slow motion and hit the ground with a massive thud. She smirked thinking that she had injured him greatly judging by his wounds and exposed muscles. However, when she saw that his torso was being held together with his spinal cord and a thin strand of muscle her widened in fear. What was he? He probably wasn't human and if he was than he was using some kind of wicked sorcery to keep himself alive. If you can call a half skeleton-muscle mutilated creature still living. Suddenly, the wounds healed with seconds and his pale smooth skin regenerated. He was back to his rather handsome young male form.
Ruby found his comment terrifying and before she could even blink, she felt pressure slam into her side. Whoever was applying the pressure at the moment was invisible, but she could give a good guess took who it was. The albino was lifted off the ground from the force of the attack, and tossed out the door. Her body demolished the door along with the door's frame. Her guns separated, and the blade re-concealed itself but she continued to keep a firm grip on her weapons. Pieces of wood debris traveled through the air with her, and when she hit the ground she rolled a couple of times.
Her body rolled right off a cliff side, but she caught the edge before she splattered on the ground below. She had to let go of one of her guns to hold onto the side of the cliff, but she never lost grip of them even when she was thrown out the door. She placed her weapons back in their holsters with one hand then pulled herself back up onto the cliff effortlessly. She noticed a flash of blue light that came from the cabin hoping that it was Horad's magic. Fortunately it was because Zoltan exited the house with a frustrated expression. If she was going to continue fighting him, she needed a more open isolated area. Luckily, Caiin lived by the beach so that where she headed. Pulling her guns out of her holsters, she got ready to turn and fire if necessary.

"I'll murder you just like that worthless Truesdale! And his daughter will be swiftly after you!" he shouted as he summoned forth a shadowy blade from his wrist. He then charged for Ruby, but the girl was way ahead of him as she jumped down the cliff and landed without any injury! Quickly following he jumped over the edge and landed with his blade thrust into teh sand. With it, the sand rippled and as if it had become as light as dust it joined the air. It spiraled around him as he tried to focus before him with glaring eyes, finding his target. "He was a waste of space" he taunted. "He simply didn't see through the perfection the others were trying to accomplish... and you, strangely enough, remind me of him. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time.". He then banished his blade as runes covered the sandy floor and took control of the flying sand. Before it had time to settle it was condensed into shards of glass that all surrounding him in an orb, revealing his angry face before all slowly turning to face her, and then... they attacked! Each and every single shard, hundreds of them hurling towards her to get their own taste of her flesh blood.
Zoltan thought that getting rid of an Elixer early would weaken the team... he couldn't risk the others stopping his plans. He had only one... singular chance to make this happen. If not now then he would never be able to attempt it again and may as well give in and join Hell itself.

Ruby could feel his anger found the tone of his voice, and he finally explained what happened to Alexis' father. Her heart sank and she had no idea how she would conjure up the courage to tell Alexis the truth. However, that was if she happened to survive this battle. She stopped and turned to him as he jumped down from the cliff. Sand rose from the ground and the particles aimlessly floated around the enemy. Zoltan talked about Alexis' father as if he was a worthless piece of trash, and was deposed of for no reason. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't see perfection anywhere with you around either. I guess I'm honored to symbolize him. It must be my fault Horad escaped because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time." Maybe it was to early to make such a bold statement.
The sand around the male began to form into tons of tiny solid mass shards. Ruby got ready to turn and run, but it was to last because the shard came hurdling at her. Like in the battle with Lucas, she turned towards the attack and tried to defend herself. Once again, placing her guns together a blade popped out. She would have used another blizzard bullet, but it would take her time to reload one and by that time all the shard would have taken her down.
She twirled her sword deflecting some of the shards. Although, the glass shards that weren't blocked either sunk deep into her flesh or left nicks and scratches in her pale skin. Already in the beginning of the battle, she was hurt and bleeding a lot. Still she would continue the battle ignoring her pain. Ruby kicked up the sand behind her and ran towards Maues. Once she was near him, she dug her sword into the sand and when she lifted her sword sand flew into Zoltan's eyes. She had temporary blinded him which gave her a chance to stab him right through the chest.

The shards of glass rained down upon her like stormy weather on concrete. But her skin was not as tough as rock, and with each shard not deflected by her blade she would suffer another wound, some more and then some. He was however surprised, the girl still stood and deflected a good amount of them, with her stand came the shards' death as the glass turned back to sand. You could say this would ease some pain, but all it would do would leave filthy, sandy, grinding wounds like sand paper. And she still had strength in her, her own will was something to be feared, Zoltan would porbably realise this later in his life.
The Girl With No Name was much more than a simple lost child, she's special. She's un-ordinary.
He could almost see it in his eyes before she swept up the sand as it smothered his face. "Ah!", Zoltan tried to wipe his face down of moist sand from his lips and eyes, squinting as he suddenly saw something hard to see, but surely pointed coming right at his chest. With a gasp he felt her blade pierce his flesh and through his pure white bone. As it escaped through his back he could admit he was winded, lost for breath for a second whilst his vision returned to him. Mouth wide and surprised his stared up at the girl and chuckled as blood began to drip from his lips, holding onto the blade with his hands he coughed before he began to speak quietly. "Wrong place... deffinitely the wrong time. If not- t-those few years ago... i wou...ldn't be able to do this".
He then began to cry out in agony as he pulled the blade from his flesh and took some wobbly steps back. Shaking his head he then added "Darniér kre-shin". He spoke in some demonic language that sounded different to that known to be spoken within Hell. Then his flesh began to rip and blood began to seep from his body, bone appearing in deformed shapes and a skull appearing as he straightened himself, standing up right. Crossing his arms the blood from his body conjured into ravens of blood that flew away. He was nothing but mutated muscles and bone... whatever curse he had befouled upon himself it was not of this world. "Let's not waste our time, nameless girl" he began. "Any last words before we end this?"

Ruby's crystal myrthial blade sank deep into where she penetrated Zoltan's chest. The opened his eyes and made a shocked expression before collapsing to his knees. His pulps even dilated from the loss of blood and pain he was experiencing. The girl was winded herself because of the loss of blood, and the strain she was putting on her body. She still had a plentiful amount of power left in her because if she didn't she would have passed out by now. The male was struggling to breath and possibly choking on his own blood as it started to roll down his chin. With the blood came a spine cringing chuckle and it was confirmed that this man wasn't human in a since and highly dark magic inclined. That blow to the chest should have killed him, but alas he yanked her sword out of his flesh easily.
The female jumped and glanced at her blade now covered in bright red blood. The blood reflected against the sun, but when Ruby looked into the sky dense gray clouds covered its majesty. Slow her red eyes drifted back to the figure that was once man, but now a monster. The words he spoke must have been some sort of spell, one she would not stop with her blade. His pale flesh pealed away and his blood levitated off his muscles and bones disappearing into oblivion. All the tiny hairs on Ruby's body rose and her eyes widened. She acted tough, but the truth was she was a scared child.
The child would have replied with some cocky input, but instead ran away from the man as fast as she could. Her legs felt like solid blocks and her body weight down on her. Separating the two guns, she placed one behind her and began firing. No of the bullets were accurate because she wasn't looking, however, they all flew towards, past or near her opponent regardless. All she could think about was dying and leaving the people she truly cared about behind. She couldn't be filled with more regret.

Finally, his pain was gone and he was able to stretch his legs in his true form, well... his altered and now true form. It's what dabbling in magic from another universe does to a person. As his red eye sockets tared forwards, his teeth like a menacing grin watched as the young hero... fled. She fled in terror, in fear, and even though she tried to fire back only one or two bullets hit or scraped him. She was the symbol of weakness in all humanoid people, she might as well have been a mundane human from Non-Magic Earth!
"hm" he thought to himself as the girl ran through the sand and tried to gain some distance. He then reached one hand over his skeletal shoulder as his hand pierced his shoulder blades flesh, from it, he pulled a sharp appendage. It was like a blood stained yet polished long bone spear. He was about to throw it to finally end this, and as he brought back his arm to let loose his final attack he found himself attacked.
His wrist was tangled with an arcane rope with two heavy arcane orbs at each ends, they spun around his wrist and tightened before suddenly becoming ten times heavier and pulling his fist to the groud, grasping a hold of his wrist with his free hand he cursed under his breath, through his grizzly teeth. His fist hit the ground as the arcane power buried itself in the smashing sand.
Meanwhile, a woman in shining glory and long blade hair came to Ruby's side and grasped an arm around her to stop her from running any further! "Ruby!" cried Alexis. "Alexis..."she repeated, holding her close. "i'm sorry i didn't come sooner, we should never have split up! W-what is that thing?!"

Ruby didn't turn towards the creature because just looking at its final features and structure scared her. Tear of fear even ran down her pale cheeks hoping to gain as much distance as she could before she was hit. Zoltan was getting ready to throw one of his own bone appendages, and possibly decapitate the girl's head. However, his chance never came and the albino wondered why she wasn't dead yet. Still she kept up her pace until a female covered in golden light capture her. Was she an accompanied of his?
Ruby struggled in her grasp until she realized who was holding her. She was relieved to know it was Alexis, and let her damaged body slump against the females. Alexis asked who the creature was and it filled her with pain to tell her truth, but she couldn't bring herself to do so. Not yet. "He's....the one that...that..." She swallowed hard before lifting her body up. Her vision blurred in and out as she pulled away from her strong grip. "Get out of here! I can't have you dying on me! I can fight this battle on my own!" Ruby used what little voice she could conjure up. The words stabbed her like knifes, but she couldn't bare the thought of losing anyone. She had already lost Horad once and the pain still resided in her heart and the back of her mind. She knew now that he was alive, but the word, Loss, haunted her.
Never again would she relive that pain. Even if this was a selfish reason to battle for she didn't care. Again placing her guns together, she headed back towards Zoltan Maues ready to end this battle. (Tell me if its a little to much okay, and we'll cut the battle short)

*I'm going in for the kill...*
Ruby was historical, she was almost unable to complete simple sentences from her wallowing sadness. Whatever this thing was, it caused her such distress. Looking over towards the thing, it was still trying to lift its arm from the ground and Alexis could feel her magic pulsating with a failing thrum. He won't be chained down forever. Looking back at Ruby she shook her head, wide-eyed and frantically asked "That did what?! You- no!" she reached her arm out for Ruby.
*I'm doing it for a thrill...*
Narrowing her eyes, she sighed and wasn't about to let anything happen to Ruby, she was already in a mess and her blood had already covered her own dress of lush royal blues. Pulling out her staff its tip spun and conjured its concentrated arcane orb and magic bestowed by Entei. And then staring out as Ruby slowly made her way towards the creature Alexis tightened her fists... there was a reason she was the best wizard in all of Merlin Academy. And she had all the right reasons to be confident in that, she got straight !'s, she past every practical exam with flying colours, literally, and even though some bullies didn't like the way she was, they soon realised she doesn't take sh*t.
*I'm hoping you'll understand...*
Ruby was her teammate, her friend. And they don't battle alone. Jumping into the air with a magical boom, sand burst from around her as many magic missiles shot from her staff into the sky. They came down on the creature as she landed in front of Ruby and with a stern face said "There is no 'I' in Team.". "AHH!!" roared Zoltan as he flung his arm free from the ground, Alexis swung round and released another gravity spell upon his other wrist as it was flung towards the ground again. As she finished her 360 degree spin she made sure to push ruby back some feet through the sand with her magic. Spinning her staff in one hand and landing it on the ground fiercely she let loose an arcane bomb. All around her the sand burst into the sky and formed into thousands of tiny arcane missiles.
As they darted for Zoltan she turned round to Ruby and said "We're leaving! I can feel his power from here!" and even if Ruby tried to stop her she wasn't going to let that happen. Ruby was going to die if she stayed here, that creature had no wounds, but Ruby was covered in them right to the bone. Zoltan then roared again as he brought himself free and began to lung an attack, but Alexis spun round once more and caused the side of the cliff to spontaneously burst from the side and collide with him like a giants fist. "now!" she ordered to her ally.
"up there!" she said, pointing her staff to a staircase made of arcane power leading up the cliff side. As they began to raise up the staircase she could hear all the rock and sand behind her beginning to shift and reform, Zoltan had obviously planned something with whatever Alexis just threw at him. Before them came a giant rock spear that stung the cliff wall and stopped them from climbing the stairs any further, and then Zoltan came at them with a giant rocky armour. Holding her staff out she let loose an arcane barrier, and now she was beginning to feel his raw power. Blood began to run down her nose as she ordered Ruby to leave, an arcane circle then appeared below her that would shoot her into the air.
"You're next, Truesdale!!!!" the thing warned to Alexis, she narrowed her brows however and screamed as she caused her barrier to explode and toss him across the beach and down the cliff. Joining Ruby they would both stop inches from the ground before dropping again to stop any further wounds. She was breathing heavily, and after all this time (sorry i forgot to mention this earlier) she was thankful she had warned Ruby from trying to continue fighting that thing with some gravity spells. If Ruby wasn't going to follow, she was going to make her follow whether she liked it or not.
In a final bid to get to safety, she turned around with hardly a breath and tried to get up from her knees and shouted muttered "You shall not see, hear, feel nor pass!" as she thrust her staff, spear end first, into the ground. The world around Ruby and Alexis seemed to turn foggy, everything wispy from its skin or foundations. Every living entity whispering to them as they became a part of the Arcane, invisible to Zoltan.
He arrived, and to his own disaster found that the two young girls were gone. He looked obviously distressed before letting loose an angry sigh. He stood mere inches from them, but couldn't see or hear them, thankfully. In the wind it seemed like dark foggy magic caused his skin to reappear and bring back his old appearance before he casually looked around one last time suddenly, without a blink to spare, he vanished. Alexis then finally released her enchantment, her hands sliding down her staff as she found herself sitting on the stone pavement below her, regaining her breath.
**hope this was alright, i got a bit carried away and feel bad when Ruby doesn't get enough spotlight time sad **

Ruby heard the muffled sound of Alexis' voice, but turn back to her. She could only hope that her selfish act would protect them both. Her fear of telling her friend the truth exceed the fear that overwhelming her when she stared into the creatures face. This man was a killer, and would be more than happy to torture Alexis and others right before her eyes. The sheer thought of this possible future kept her adrenaline pumping which kept her awake and cautious. Beads of sweat dripped down her face and her breathing became raspy not to mention heavy. The world around her darkened and all she could hear was the crunching sound of the shifting sound beneath her armored boots. I'm sorry, was repeated in her head millions of times before the silence was broken.
Missiles whistled through the air and rained down on the imprisoned Zoltan which made produce a yell of agony or maybe it was a cry for battle. The female shielded her already scratched up face putting both of her arms in an X before her. She did this mostly because she was only a short distance away from the enemy, and the when the missiles hit the ground a wave of sand almost knocked her over. Alexis appeared in front of her and Ruby could only make out her silhouette in her unfocused vision. The girl wasn't able to acknowledge her friend in time before she turned to assailed Zoltan. Suddenly, she felt some kind of grainy force push her back and knocking her off balance. She ended up a feet feet away from Alexis on the ground and it was a struggle to put effort into lifting her body. The sounds from across the field would fade in and out along with vision. The albino could only make out the blurred motion of her reflexes until her voice interjected near her.
Alexis insisted that they must flee before they both ended up dead. She wouldn't fight her companion's wishes and used what little strength her had to lift her body. Ruby didn't know what exactly was happening, but if she had to guess, Zoltan roared angrily or foolishly tired to attack, Alexis must be defending, and she could swear that she could hear the corrosion of a rock formation. She must have been correct because she could hear the urgency in Alexis' tone telling her to run. Ruby could barely move let alone run, but did her best to follow commands.
Alexis was close to her and pointed her staff to some upwards position or at least what Ruby could make out. She could feel Alexis' grab her frail wrist and pull her along. The albino stumbled up the stairs, but was able to keep up with her friend's assistance. Ruby didn't mean to bump into Alexis when the girl stopped so abruptly, and for what reason. She could feel constricting power engulfing her, suffocating her. Alexis' distorted voice told her to run and the girl replied or at least she thought she did. She could barely heard the sound of her own voice, but she knew for a fact that she protested. Also, she pleaded for to Zoltan to spear her friend even though her input was meaningless to the man.
A ripple of vibrations traveled through the girls body and for a moment she felt weightless until she landed on the ground with a semi-soft impact. Her vision was completely black, and the only thing that kept her conscious for the moment was Alexis' voice once again. After a few minutes of laying on the sand emotionless, she figured the fight was over. She had no idea who won, but could only conjure up a few words before she actually passed out.
"That's...the man...who killed your father...Zoltan Maues." Her eye lids slowly closed and her small damaged body went limp. (Its alright. I found a kind of good picture of Ruby. I'm going to change her look in probably the next post or the one after that)

Alexis Truesvale I couldn't take it, couldn't stand another minute Couldn't bear another day without you in it All of the joy that I had known for all my life Was stripped away from me the minute that you died
Everything around them was finally calming, Alexis had only just teleported to Shard City from Entei when she saw some sort of fight. She was never expecting it to be involving Ruby. Breathing on the cold stone ground she was thankful to be back upon the cliff edge, Horad's home was just mere meters from them. Ruby, through her pain and stress though seemed to pass some words through her unrelenting thirst for air. Slowly, Alexis' face turned to see Ruby's wounded body, and she caught her attention with one word of her father. At first she narrowed her brows and just said "what?" as if to be thinking what the hell was she talking about, then after shaking her head she widened her eyes. Quickly she looked back to where the man stood and quickly darted her sight all around her, searching for the mystery man. She then got up to her feet and swung her staff around as she finally realised what Ruby had said. "But... but.... Zoltan... he was the best wizard of Merlin Academy when i had just started! I-" she paused for a second as she quinted, trying to think. "I know he was AWOL and tried to corrupt the syndicate but... he? Why- why would he kill my father?" and then it dawned on her.
With a sigh, realisation hit her like a rock. "the expedition was from Merlin... I thought they all seemed different than before" she then fell back down to her knees as she stared onwards. "Zoltan twisted the minds of all of them, that's the reason they all vanished, that's the cause." Never before had she known who was the culprit for her father's disappearance let alone death. Now, she knew, it was Zoltan Maues, the deceiver, the betrayer... the greatest wizard that had ever left that academy... and turned evil.
Now, she had to find him. But then she twigged onto something, facing the wounded blonde again Alexis carefully asked "you said... killed my father? Did he say that?! Did he..." she then seemed lost for words... "say he killed my father?..."
Blue like violets Fills my head with dreams and finds me Always closer to the emptiness and sadness that has come to take the place of you I wasn't dreaming when they told me you were gone I was wide awake and feeling that they had to be wrong How could you leave me when you swore that you would stay But I'll make you proud and know that I'm okay every single f'ing day
