Absolutely bliss-filled at the thought of her being here, he didn't seem to be fazed too much about the idea of the dog being there until the moment it happened. It was like he didn't even know it was coming and he fluffed up and hissed before the dog even had a chance to try and jump up. However, when the dog did try and jump up the small cat that could have easily fit into the dog's mouth, jumped back and nearly fell off Ellie's shoulder, only hanging on by using his claws to latch onto Ellie.
"You didn't say it was a big dog!" The cat cried and cried like the dog was biting him even though it was probably Ellie who would be in pain at this point.

"Down!!!" Ellie called out sternly.
Though the dog's tailless rump still was shaking from all the wagging of the docked tail, it soon enough was shoved to the ground. The dog whined in an eager manner.
Now that one animal was attended to, the blonde shifted to tend to the next one that was now clawing at her shoulder. None could accuse the tomboy of being gentle with animals, for soon enough she had grabbed the dark Rex by the scruff of the neck.
"What did I f*ckin' say 'bout claws, f*cktard?"
With a rather large scowl, she threw the new cat to the floor.
The dog was about to pounce, but the blonde firmly uttered "Stay!" Despite all the whining, the canine remained in place.
"...alright... I ain't yer babysitter... go find'er yerself..." Ellie snarled at the dark cat, still seemingly aggravated about the new set of claw marks on her shoulder.

Landing on the ground, the small cat immediately curled up into a ball and hissed with all his might. He feared the upcoming dog attack and when it didn't come he found himself looking up at Ellie with large, loving eyes. HIS SAVIOR. OH THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Of course, Ellie was not so grateful for the claws he had given her.
"I-I'm sorry!" He yelped, trying to regain some sort of love from Ellie until hope of finding her found its way into his little tiny brain.
So, after making sure the dog was not going to eat him, he bound into the house. Empty room after empty room, hopes were dashed away until finally the little cat stumbled into the livingroom where Annie was laying down. There, on top of her, was the sexy feline that was *********. Green eyes widened, the dark cat slowly approached the two of them until he stopped entirely.
"Psyche?" The small cat squeaked, concentrating on her. "Psyche..."
Hope, love and a hint of betrayal hit the small cat at the same time. Something about seeing these two together pulled at all the heartstrings in this little kitty's heart.

Anemone had been in need of some love, and who was ********* to deny the silvery haired girl such attention?
She was a good cuddle monster, purring gently as the girl's fingers attentively stroked her fur and occasionally scratched behind her ears. The chubby Mauvian felt like mush and had easily melted into a sort of kitty-loaf upon the girl's stomach.
"Psyche?"
A pair of pale ears perked up.
"Psyche..."
Opening her eyes, the feline soon enough glanced towards the voice that had called out a second time. She wasn't really expecting anybody in particular, but she really couldn't say she was expecting another Mauvian to enter.
"Oh! Well hello there!" she greeted in a very pleasant manner, squirming slightly to get off of Anemone's stomach. With a hop, she landed on the floor with a slight jingle before trotting up to the new darker feline.
She sniffed at him a couple times, but soon enough mentioned "My name's *********! Is there something I can help you with?"

********* was such a good cuddle monster, it was very hard for Anemone to simply let her go. She hugged her and squeezed her but eventually she released the cat gingerly to meet her whims. Over the months she had gained a bit of perspective and an asteroid to call her own so she was able to be a little more thoughtful of ********* needs. As for Thetis calling after Psyche, Anemone had been thoroughly ingrained that her name was either Anemone or Annie so she didn't even acknowledge Thetis calling for her.
Ears lowered by the lack of acknowledgement by Psyche, Thetis' body lowered closer to the floor with a weak whine. What was he doing here? His green eyes looked up at ********* as she bounced so cheerfully toward him, his eyes falling on the bell and then the spots that covered her light fur. Who was this fine feline? He raised his head up until their eyes met.
"*********?" He repeated curiously. It sounded... very familiar.
"My name is Thetis. I'm here for... Psyche..."
On the couch, Anemone finally rolled over and noticed the cat on the floor by ********* HAS CAT?" Anemone said a little louder than necessary for inside the house but there was definitely excitement there in her voice. Finally she didn't have to share ********* with Ellie! That was one down with just seven more to go.

The manx was not certain how to interpret this new curly-haired Mauvian. He was here for Psyche, which seemed worrisome in itself given she had no background to work off of. However, she also didn't want to put on a bad face. She fought off her curiosity for the time being and easily melted into the simple meet-and-greet mindset.
"It's good to meet you, Thetis! So you are here for..."
And then Annie announced her observation.
A rather incorrect observation. Ellie had lingered long enough to shove a certain dog into the garage before following along the black Mauvian's path.
"Naw.... yer wrong...'Ellie has dog..." The blonde shook her head in an exaggerated manner so that Annie could potentially gain the meaning from the universal gesture.
The tall girl pointed to the foreigner. "Annie..."
"...Anemone..."
"...Annie's got 2 cats..." With that announcement, Ellie held out two fingers and pointed to the silvery-haired girl.
A pair of green eyes looked to the tomboy, blinking in confusion. Ellie was very aware of whose cat ********* actually was, even if she didn't say it much aloud. Given that tidbit, the manx attempted to piece together a meaning.
...is Thetis Psyche's partner then?
Seeming as nonchalant as possible, Ellie sat herself on the arm of the couch the Greek had been sprawled across before.
"Anyways... I did mention sh*t got messed up... so yeah... let's start off with this. Annie don't speak much in the English department... her native language is Greek..." The blonde lofted an eyebrow and gave the black cat a very pointed look.
"...so let's ask... do ya speak any Greek?"

Anemone's eyes briefly looked at Thetis before his existence disappeared from her memory.
"Oh." It was a simple acknowledgement of what Ellie had said about the dog. Mostly because the dog couldn't talk, Anemone often forgot about him. She didn't dislike him but he simply couldn't compare against *********. ********* was so wonderful that simply thinking about the cat caused her eyes to fall on ********* with a smile.
Immediately as Ellie began to move, Anemone's eyes fell on her friend as she walked over and sat down on the arm of the couch. She followed her across the room until she was looking up with a small tilt from her position on the couch.
Meanwhile, Thetis seemed to have melted onto the floor as he felt like he was getting smaller and smaller. He had searched so long and she didn't even seem to care he was here! She didn't care and she had this lovely feline here already. How could he ever hope to compete with this beautiful girl? Green eyes fell onto the floor as he wished he could disappear. Could things have turned out worse?
Yes, Ellie suddenly addressed him. Their last time together hadn't ended very well and Thetis was a little worried about facing her. Left, and then right, Thetis' eyes went back and forth as he tried to will himself to look at her. They wouldn't look at Ellie and instead fell on Anemone on the couch beside her.
"Greek?" He said out loud, pondering his answer. The truth was he did speak Greek, at least about as much as an elementary student, because he was purchased from a breeder in Cyprus. Originally he was going to go to some home in Thessaloniki but the interested parties had changed their mind and he found himself a home in Destiny City. However, despite all this, the answer Thetis said was not yes. As he looked at Anemone, looking at *********, he found himself crushed.
"N-no... none. I-I'm sorry..." he squeaked out pathetically. He wasn't a very good liar though, and he lowered his head until it was pressed against the floor. There he mumbled something that wasn't quite English, and might have simply been a whine. It didn't matter if he could speak some Greek because she didn't even acknowledge he existed.

Ellie looked at the black cat suspiciously, a brow lofting at him as if silently asking him to tell the truth. However, she didn't vocalize such a request.
"...anyways... from what we have been able t'gather... is that Annie was from Europe t'begin with... she was probably supposed t'get awakened by a cat out there or somethin'... but that didn't happen. Negaverse got t'er first..."
There was something about Ellie's explanation that the manx didn't like and she didn't hesitate to speak up on the matter.
"You know, there is a chance she could have moved out here to America first and then been awakened."
"...what does it matter? Point is she was a corrupted senshi when she came out 'ere..." Ellie continued to lounge upon the arm of the couch while glancing to Thetis, then occasionally to Annie nearby.
"...so she gets out 'ere... starts beatin' sh*t up... I guess she got paired up with General Sassolite from th'Negaverse... and got ordered t'kill ********* style="color: gray">The paler of the felines seemed to bristle noticeably at the mention of Sassolite.
"...I guess she didn't want t'do it or whatever... tried t'destroy her own starseed... ********* intervened... I got there... and then we were able t'find a way t'cleanse her starseed of the chaos infecting it."
A pair of gold eyes lingered on Annie for a bit before she then continued on with the story. "...problem is... she lost her memories after that... so she doesn't have a family t'return to... she doesn't remember all th'things that led to her bein' here... she just kinda hangs out at my place fer now..."

Anemone had heard this tale time and time again but the real meaning of it never quite settled in. However, when she heard the words 'kill *********' her attention spiked prominently, looking at ********* with some concern. In her chest, it felt heavy. She never understood but those two words always made Anemone want to curl up. She was laying on the couch so there wasn't much but she did curl her arms up toward her chest.
On the other hand, Thetis never heard any of this before and he wasn't taking it well. His body shifted uneasily with each word until eventually his little body was pressed against the floor again. How could all of this have happened? It wasn't supposed to be like this. Psyche was never supposed to go through so much pain and misery and when he looked at ********* he felt the same emotion. How could this have happened? This was his fault.
If Anemone had been from Europe, and he had been from Europe, it wasn't hard for Thetis to piece together the idea that he had been suppose to find her back then. They might not have been in the same country but Greece and Cyprus were both on the Mediterranean and his breeder sold most of the litters to people in Greece. He knew originally he was suppose to go to Greece but last minute they backed out and he ended up in Destiny City. Everyone else had been in Destiny City and it just didn't seem like a fluke he had been in the Mediterranean with Psyche. Destiny had lined it up for them and then somehow he ******** it up. How did he mess that up? It had been almost two years now since he arrived in Destiny City and if things went how he suspected then that's probably a similiar time frame for Psyche too.
Sure, maybe it wasn't solely his fault (partially because he didn't even fully understand his destiny back then) but in his heart he could only blame himself. It was weighing him down until finally he couldn't bear it anymore. His little body was pressed so tightly against the floor it looked like he was going to melt into it. He was sinking into misery. It was all his fault and he couldn't take it anymore.
His small body popped up suddenly and he cried out "I'm from Cyprus!" loud enough to make Anemone jump back against the couch so she was no longer laying down. The shuffle of her body moved her hair and her movements caught Thetis' attention just in time for him to watch her balls of hair roll down. This was where he jumped, freaking out by the balls, his body sliding backwards until he was safe under a table.
"I was supposed to be sold to a someone in Greece but... but..." he whispered, unable to finish the sentence that was obvious. "This is all my fault," he whispered in a meek cry, his eyes looking up to a position where he could only see Anemone's face. "I'm so sorry..."
His apology was not understood by the one person he needed to understand the most. Instead of what he hoped would happen after his apology, grey eyes simply looked at the "kitten" hiding under the table with mild interest before she moved off the couch to pay attention to *********, her fingers stroking the manx's fur before trying to pick her up into her arms.
"********* eat?" She asked *********, trying to see it ********* was hungry, forgetting about the sobbing mess under the table.
Ignored under the table, Thetis' silver paws found his face and covered it in silence. However, in that silence, something could be heard breaking by those who truly listened.

Ellie didn't really seem to figure things out as quickly as some of the others in the room. Geography had never really been her thing.
"....where's Cyprus?"
The manx's fur eventually seemed to calm and smooth out after the end of the blonde's tale. However, she seemed to perk up rather noticeably when Thetis mentioned his place of origin.
And then the blonde spoke up and ********* head tilted to the side, then turned to face her. One might have thought the chubby cat was an owl at that point.
"...Cyprus is located in Europe, Ellie."
A flat "Oh," was the response that seemed to linger in the air for a bit in an awkward manner.
********* easily accepted the petting, but when fingers attempted to snatch her up and make her an airborne-kitty, the little manx wriggled enough to loosen the grip before trotting towards the table.
"Anemone... maybe you can bring the food here?" With a smile, she slipped under the table with her other Mauvian companion.
"...Thetis... would you like something to eat?"
Ellie barely even shifted from her place on the couch. "...you should get him peas..."

Green eyes peered at ********* when she chirped in to answer the question of where Cyprus was. She knew where it was? It wasn't exactly a highly spoke of country or a large country with a well-known past. Everyone knew of Greece but it wasn't the same for the countries around it. He could appreciate the intelligence that ********* displayed and further the empathy that she had when she wiggled out of Anemone's hands and under the table next to him.
"I-I'm fine..." he mumbled with his face buried into his paws.
Anemone on the other hand had a hint of annoyance spread across her lips when ********* escaped her grasp. However, it didn't linger there for long. By the time Anemone turned to look at Ellie the expression on her face had shifted along with her attention. Ellie wanted her to get peas? Peas were those green things, right? She'd have to verify when she got to the kitchen but she was pretty sure!
"O.K." Anemone said to Ellie, a bright smile on her face as she left the room with a wave.
"BYE!"
Maybe she needed to work on that because Thetis' ears perked up and along with them his body. Like a flash of lightning, Thetis was suddenly out from under the table and chasing after Anemone but it was too late.
"Don't go... come back..." he whimpered, his body curling back up as he mistook Anemone's words for her departure.

The tailless of the feline pair let out a small airy giggle when Thetis attempted to reassure her in such a silly manner. "...for some reason... I have this feeling you might not be as 'fine' as you are claiming..." she whispered to him in their momentary hiding place.
As Annie seemed to make her way towards the kitchen, the blonde held out a loose thumbs up in her direction. However, rather suddenly the black fuzzball shot out.
Shifting from her momentary resting spot, Ellie sat upright and looked in the direction of the confused Mauvian. "...sh*t dude... what th'hell? She's jus' goin' to the kitchen t'get ya guys a snack."
********* eyes blinked wide as she rather suddenly found herself abandoned. Not nearly as timid about the locations, she rolled herself out of the space under the table, then trotted towards the other Mauvian. With a slight curious tilt of her head, she leaned in and rubbed her cheek against Thetis.
"...you okay?..."

Small giggles and light whispers haunted Thetis' thoughts as he leaned, almost face first, into the floor with sorrow. He just didn't understand! How could she just up and leave like that? He had wanted to meet her so badly but she didn't even care he existed! How could the world hate him so much? He would just melt into the floor and do the world a favour by disappearing!
Ellie's voice barely hit the sound register in Thetis' head but the voice of an angel made its way through. With the soft rub of her cheek and the light fragrance of her fur, he couldn't help but tilt his head a bit to meet her. She was so thoughtful and so beautiful with her cute spot pattern. He tried to pout because he knew that she was the one who took his senshi away but he just couldn't bring himself to stay there.
"I'm okay... thank you..." he whispered softly, raising his body up to a normal position.
He didn't look so much like a fur rug anymore and from this position he could really smell something. He wasn't positive but did ********* smell like cake? It was soft but he could have sworn he smelled cake. It only made his heart beat harder in his little chest because baking was such a passion for the small cat and to have it appear to him in the form of a cat was just a blessing from the Gods.
"My name is Thetis, what's yours?"
He had to know, how could he live without know this fine feline's name?
It was a little after this that Psyche came bursting back into the room with a container of heated leftovers for Ellie, some sliced up watermelon for ********* and a nice bowl of peas for Thetis. She'd done just a good job and it was obvious she was proud of herself by the smile on her face. The sheer amount of horror she was about to inflict on Thetis was pure bonus her previous life could appreciate but she only thought she was getting something he'd like.
She gave the leftovers to Ellie first and tossed out a casual, "Good work?" to inquire how Ellie's day had been before she placed the watermelon plate in front of *********. It was after she put the bowl of peas in front of Thetis that the real trouble began. It wasn't immediate, no, it took him a moment to realize what was in the bowl. It gave Anemone enough time to turn her back before the sound of a dying cat could be heard from behind her.
The sound a bowl rocking side to side over the floor came first as Thetis freaked out and as Anemone turned around to see if ********* was okay she felt the weight of something on her hair. It was like watching a train wreck because neither of the parties involved knew what happened and sooner or later one of them was going to realize and neither were great options. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, Anemone found the black cat clinging to her hair with his closed tight.
"Huh?"
It was an appropriate reaction but what happened after that was probably was a tad overkill.
"Screw you, cat!" She said in a tone that was definitely reminiscent of something someone had said to her in the past. Following that announcement, she pulled the cat off her hair and sat him back down in front of the bowl with a hint of innocence spreading across her lips. Unlike Ellie watching this go down, Anemone had no idea what was about to happen when Thetis opened his eyes to find himself staring at the bowl of peas again.
The sound of a dying cat could be heard again but this time when he ran to hide he found a pressure meeting the back of his neck as Anemone tried to smoosh his face into the peas. Wide, horrified eyes stared at the green peas as if his death was imminent.
"Peas," she said, shoving his head closer.
"Eat," she stated as she fought with the resisting cat. She thought maybe he just didn't know where the bowl was (and it was the only reason she could think he wouldn't want to eat it) so she just wanted to help him find it. She might have been looking at this with a bit of innocence but there was definitely a hint of Theodora shining through there as she pushed his face closer and closer to the bowl.
"EAT," she demanded.
Despite all her words, Thetis would still not eat. He might have been frozen in fear over the peas but Anemone certainly didn't know that. She thought the cat was being stubborn and it was upsetting her. WHY WOULD HE NOT EAT THE PEAS? SHE HAD GOTTEN THEM JUST FOR HIM. SHE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND! WHY DID HE TURN AWAY HER KINDNESS? She didn't like it, not one bit.
On the other side of the coin, Thetis was now a sobbing mess. He didn't understand what he had done to deserve this! Fluffed up larger than determined normal, Thetis found himself pondering over his choices. Maybe if he ate the peas Anemone would love him? He allowed his head to be pushed a little closer to the bowl before he all out freaked out.
NO!
NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO... NO! He definitely couldn't do it. He absolutely couldn't do it. Due to Anemone's loosened grip on him thanks to his attempt to get closer to the peas, he managed to free himself from her and fly across the room. He didn't know where he was going but left and right objects that were stacked in the room were crashing down onto the floor. Over and under things, majorly freaked the ******** out before he ran across the back of the couch by Ellie's head and then hid there behind her as if someone that would protect him. He obviously didn't know Ellie very well.
Back with Anemone, pale hands gingerly slid the bowl of peas over to *********?"

Though the manx had introduced herself earlier, she wasn't past introducing herself again. Clearly this Rex-furred Mauvian was a bit distraught from this whole situation and perhaps it had slipped past his ears the first time.
"...my name is..."
And then the food arrived. ********* attention very easily was stolen away from Thetis and soon enough was upon the slice of watermelon placed in front of her. In an eager manner, she was already digging in, face-first, into the pink sweetness that was watermelon.
"...yes... good work..." was Ellie's response as a smirk seemed to find a secure place upon her lips. Her gold eyes followed along with Annie as she then began to bother Thetis.
There was a brief moment of silence (save for the sound of the manx gobbling up her own meal), but then it began. A noise that rivaled the crying of her own dog when he was agitated. A few chuckles couldn't help but escape, and a few more broke from her quivering lips as the cat seemed to attach himself to Annie's hair.
However, what really got Ellie laughing was Annie's choice of words.
The paler of the felines had been only partially paying attention, but when Ellie started to laugh more noticeably, her green eyes flickered up.
"...I..... don't see..... what's so funny..............Ellie....." she managed between bites.
The exchange continued and the blonde girl couldn't help but grow louder and louder in her laughter as Annie continued to naively try and force the black cat into eating. By the time Thetis had scrambled and began to make a royal mess of the already horribly messy room, the blonde was hollering in laughter. When he came to join her, she just rolled her head to face him and confessed something rather bluntly.
"I love f*ckin' with ya, Cat!"
"...I am pretty sure that is not a normal reaction..." was a quiet murmur the manx said to herself before Anemone seemed to clue in on *********. The tailless of the feline pair had easily finished off her watermelon, placing the seeds on the plate next to the rind.
The bowl of peas were pushed in front of her, and without a second thought, the guardian replied "Why, I don't mind if I do, Anemone!"
With that, the cat proceeded to work on polishing off the second meal.

Anemone definitely took the rolling laughter that bellowed from Ellie to signal a job well done, flopping down next to ********* to watch her as she ate. Thetis on the other hand did not appreciate everything so much. He was shivering in terror behind Ellie, green eyes on par with Puss In Boot's wide eyes as he watched everything suspiciously.
The peas were being devoured. *********... oh beautiful manx, you are an angel!
"Why?" Thetis cried out softly.
