The dagger didn't seem to have enough force behind it and she didn't feel a thing. She was proud that she was doing so much damage to her opponent. She smiled at the failed attempt to do her harm and tried to kick the cursed from off of her.

Not only did the dagger fail to do anything, she was so off balance by the maneuver she was kicked off easily, she falls back and knocks her head on the ground. It's enough to put her already damaged lights out.
