Basket Name: Mansikka (strawberry in Finnish)
Temper: sweet
Personality: Mansikka is calm, kind, and loving. She is diligent, wanting to get everything done perfectly, but that does not make her a brat. It just means that she clings onto perfectionism.
Prompt Choice: two
Prompt Entry: Tingling, it felt the seeds inside its body drop. They were looking again. No, it was not just one, but now it was all three. The beating eyes, the smiles, and longing, oh how it killed the substance of juicy red delight. Wanting to leap off the treebranch and climb higher up, the apple cried in mercy as one of the creatures extended its monstrous neck forth, barely missing the bottom of the fruit.. Oh goodness, the fright of it all.
Sighing, the apple went loose as the foals left, and decided to take a nap. A simple nap indeed. That was, until something sharp pierced its heart. The teeth of a foal knocked the apple to the ground. All it could do was stare into the mouth of its predator, screaming as it was bit into, dying of fruity delight.
Plot Ideas: I would love plots of her losing her road of perfection. Meet a skinwalker or kalona and raise its children, learning that even though her partner's nature is not at all "perfect", she can indeed see the bright side of things even if others can not.

Basket Name: Kahiau (Meaning gorgeous in hawaiian)
Temper: Distant
Personality: Kahiau is a colt that is afraid of the world. He is shy and scared he might do something wrong. He hates his name because he cant think of a single thing he likes about himself. He lacks confidence and can be found away from others alone talking to anything but his siblings. Kahiau is withdrawn and sees beauty in things others overlook. He feels as if he can tell how a personality might be just by having a small conversation. He has his own world and only his parents are able to get in.
Prompt Choice: 2
Prompt Entry:

Mother was looking down at me but she had just asked me a very difficult question. "Kahiau..? How do you feel about you siblings? Do you love them and get along well?" he bent down and nuzzled me softly before sitting down eying with with eyes full of question. I had never thought about my siblings deeply before they were just a part of life. I looked back at my mother before grinning and running out into the clearing looking around trying to find my brother and sister. I spotted them playing tag and ran over to join them hoping they would let me.

I noticed they were staring at me like they always did like i was some kind of mean animal. It had always been like that they said i was to loud and that i always bragged about one thing or another. Mother and Father never scolded me though and they told me talked to my siblings would make things better. I had felt something around them for the longest time it was fear. I was not annoyed of them but i was scared. I was scared of my brother and sister i was told i was the firstborn colt but my brother had more power. I cowered and slowly backed away not sure about how to heal the bond between siblings.

Running back to my mother she was still lying there and she softly smiled at me. I ran into her collapsing tears clouding my eyes. "momm why do they look at me that way..?" the works were coming out between sobs. I looked up and her and she nudges me " Be brave Kahiau that is the only way to survive in this world. You will have to figure out how to mend your bond with them" My mind went blank for a moment and i wondered if my parents had planned this to break me out of my personality i had only cared for myself. Or was this real hate..? Did they could they really hate me..?

Plot Ideas:

I have a lot of ideas for him that might work out like an adventure or other things. He needs to realize he is a protector so something that could lead him to that would be great. He is very shy and scared that the world might hurt him. I would love a plot that shows why he is the way he is what happened to make him retreat into his own world? Why is he scared of his siblings did he mess something up and blames himself?

im up to anything ive always wanted to be able to have big plots. That is just some of the ideas i had but if none of them work thats fine as well im not plot picky.

Basket Name: Ciaran Orley
Temper: Bumbler
Personality: friendly and well intentioned but very socially awkward. A somewhat innocent and naive being, he has no awareness of the meaning of the word tact. His mouth often gets him into trouble but just as often gets him back out. There are times when he says things that cause pain without meaning to, though he is very quick to apologise and attempt to make things right.

A bright ray of sunshine, he also has a bit of a temper though it is well hidden and slow to rouse. When it occurs it is explosive at first but chills to arctic levels. And lasts for a long long time. The guy seriously knows how to hold grudges, thankfully it is hard to reach that point with him.

Prompt Choice: 2
Prompt Entry:

"What do I think about my siblings? What a strange question. They are family. Of course I love them." He tilted his head curiously.

Did they truly expect any different answer? Family was family, you had to love them, right? Of course, there were times when they drove him absolutely bonkers. His brother was always trying to out do him and show him up. There was that element of sibling rivalry but it was normal. It was all they knew. And while he resented it at times, he was glad he had a brother.

And then there was Loriana. Their sister. The girl. He could not understand her most times. She was different, unknown. But she was still family. He did feel a sense of protectiveness towards her. He would do anything to make sure she was safe and anything to keep her happy. To see her smile.

"They drive me insane and we might fight. But at the end of the day, I do care for them. Not just as family but for who they are."

Plot Ideas:

Of course there will be lots of family rp.
I'm not the best at coming up with plots until I see the character but here are a few ideas -
*In trouble... again: prone to getting into trouble, most often unintentionally because of who he is. There will be many different instances and scenarios.

*Foalhood hijinks: the usual games and mischief that foals get up to. Again multiple rps.

*At a loss for words: a situation comes up that he has no clue how handle it.

*I will NEVER speak to you again: someone he thought of as a friend does something that goes completely against his code of morals losing Ciaran's friendship perhaps becoming an enemy.

*Far away from home: as a teen, he goes on an 'adventure' perhaps leaving home to visit extended family on his own for the first time and gets lost. This could lead into a larger story arc about finding his way home.

*Whoops: good intentions gone wrong. Multiple rps and scenarios.

*The world does not look kindly on innocence, often sending experiences to temper, tarnish or break them. So Ciaran will face many different trials and tribulations. Whether he is tempered or broken (to be 'fixed' later on) will depend on how the rps go.

Note: please overlook typos and formatting. This was typed on my kindle and autocorrect really sucks.

Temper: Obedient
Personality:

As a foal he’s a bit of a stick in the mud always following by the rules. He is always revered the serious one that seems like he never has any fun because he’s always training. He looks up to his grandfather and wishes that someday he too can become a great knight. Though, because he’s so absorbed in his training he tends to not notice anything around him unless it has something to do with his passion.

Prompt Choice: 2
Prompt Entry:

He held his head high as he watched his family’s land. Nothing was going to breakthrough with his eyes on watch. Garath knew he did not have to stand guard every night for his family assured him where they lived it was safe. However, his sense of duty called him to the post. Since some nights tend to tick slowly by he sometimes gets lost in his thoughts.

Take his siblings, his elder sister is someone he does look up to for she was born first. Though because of her first born title he can’t help but feel she can be pushy towards them setting his brother and him in place. Then there is his brother, the youngest of the family the innocent one which he feels the strong need to protect over all. All and all he loves his siblings for they just further strive him to his passion which is protecting those he loves.

Basket Name: Pipi
Temper: Treaty
Personality:
The foal is as sweet as candy since it finds everything like a natural treat. it has a soft demeanor and is always good kid, but can be a bit spicy or sour at times. Sometimes, Pipi can be a bit sour and snappy at those that are cruel or generally mean to others or to the foal since Pipi hates bad soq. With the kid is spicy, its just that they have an adventurous side to them that likes to spice things up and make it more exciting. When in that personality, they like to dare others and have a grand night.
Prompt Choice: 2
Prompt Entry:
The apple personally groaned, seeing that all the foals were back and were staring at it, making it feel annoyed. It was red, it was juicy, and it was sweet yet it wanted to spit its seeds at them to make them go away. <"Why do those stinking foals have to find me the best? I don't want to be an apple to eat; i want to be a foal and eat myself! I hate being in this stinking dumb tree!!"> It screamed but know it wouldn't be understood because it was an apple. The apple was angry at the Soquili that looked at it and wanted to eat it, it was angry at the foals, and it was angry that it was an apple in a tree because other animals could eat it.
Plot Ideas:
It'll depend on how i get them. Sometimes there won't be, but mostly there will be. Since i have homeschool, i will always get the chance to do it.

Basket Name: Aiko (from Japanese characters for love and child)

Temper: Focused

Personality: Aiko is very bright, always wanting to know more and to learn everything she can. She can be annoyingly persistent and a bit obnoxious, but nearly always has good intentions. Outgoing and friendly, Aiko is never short on acquaintances.

Prompt Choice: 1

Prompt Entry: "Mushrooms?" she thought. "What the heck are mushrooms?" She tilted her head and asked aloud, "What are those for?" Aiko listened intently, head tilted to the side, trying to store as much information as she could. She always loved learning new things, particularly when they were related to plants. She was too young to have given it much thought, but had heard of Soquili who used plants to help the sick and injured, and it had occurred to her like it might be something fun to try.

But a 'mush-room'? Despite having them described to her as low-growing plants with a wide, flat top and short, thick stem, she still could not picture what they might look like. "Mush sounds like mushy...and that means squashed and gross. Maybe they are mushy!" she decided. She wandered daydreaming for the rest of the evening, trying to imagine other things that a mushroom could be.

Aiko woke up bright and early on the day of the gathering, excited to be going on an adventure, and could not sit still all morning. The group finally headed away from their home in search of the mysterious mushrooms. She ran around non-stop on the journey, expending the energy that only the very young can exude. They arrived after what felt like an eternity to Aiko, and one of the adults quickly pointed out some edible mushrooms. Her eyes grew large. "May I try one?" she exclaimed. She trotted over once permission was given and lowered her head to take a bite. Her teeth met with the flesh of the fungus, and as she bit down, the firmness of it surprised her. "It's not mushy at all!" she thought. The mushroom was somehow both soft and firm at the same time. The earthy flavor permeated her taste buds as she chewed, delighting her. "Yummy!" she declared, mouth still full.

Plot Ideas:
*Aiko will have an intense interest in healing and plants, and will need to explore and find a mentor to teach her from a young age.
*She is extremely friendly and does not understand the concept of unsociability. It would be good for her to encounter Soquili who are antisocial and/or are prickly, mean, or otherwise bad-tempered.
*Once an adult and well into her training as a healer, Aiko will encounter a Soquili that is badly injured. It will be the first time she has seen anything like it, and it will shake her badly. Whether the other Soquili survives unharmed or ends up with a permanent disability is (obviously) up to the owner of whoever volunteers for this plotline. This experience will cause her to redouble her efforts to become a better healer, although she may become someone emotionally scarred from this experience.

Basket Name: Kiran

Temper: Boundless

Personality: I have this character all in mind except I'm struggling between deciding on his level of stubbornness. The muse I'm getting is very determined, very driven, but I'm not sure whether he is open minded to learning, or simply thick headed at times. As temper its on the fence of either "Boundless" or "Unyielding", either of which, this stallion has a fire within him that could never be quelled. One for making change in the world he was born into, through leadership, dignity, and kindness/love. He has a fancy for helping foals, in particular. (orphans, those abandoned, etc.) He is quick to laugh, with those he keeps in company (family, loved ones) but can be a down to business kind of guy, easy to persuade others through charm and wit.

Prompt Choice: Prompt 1

Prompt Entry:

He legs were still a little shaky, growing every day. He was clumsier than his siblings, or so it felt like every time he stumbled over a rock, a branch, a hole, something deep in these trees. His parents, massive compared to their three children seemed to float through the air like elegant professionals. Kire took a moment to watch them, trying to will his body to be as graceful. A second later he fell on his face for like the 100th billionth time. Sighing in frustration, it took him a second to realize he was falling behind. A spike of anxiety bolted through his chest at the fear of being alone here. In spite of himself, Kire bound his way up to his mom, hugging her side closely. "Mama, what are we doing here again?" He was taking turns between asking that and "are you almost home?", and also "Are we going to eat soon?". In the forest here, fall had claimed all the green. It was crunchy and dead and stale smelling. Nothing good of taste.

She smiled down sweetly, and in her beautiful sing-song voice cooed, "We're exploring, darling."

Kire pursed his lips, not enjoying this at all. "Whats that mean? It ain't fun, thats for sure."

His papa corrected his speech "It is not fun."

"See mama, papa say its not either." He looked up at her as if he had won the biggest argument ever in the history of debate.

"Quit complain!" Loriana threw her two cents in, of course.

"I'm not!" Kire shot back, a poutful look on his tiny face. He was about to complain some more truly when he saw a form wigging around in the fallen leaves. It was small movements that were quick and jerky. Completely distracted, Kire drifted from his mother side and started picking his way over to it, curious.

As he approached, he saw it was a small bird. It was brown on the back with an orange chest and white freckles. It wasn't making a noise, but moving as if it was desperately trying to leave the ground. It must have been hurt! Gasping, Kire wheeled around and yelled, "Mama! Papa! Come quick!"

Frightened for a moment, both parents galloped over in a rush, raking their son over with their eyes, to see if he were harmed. "What is it, son?" His papa said, confused.

He turned and looked, tears filling the bottoms of his eyes. "Look! We have to help it. It can't fly." He frowned, his chest filling heavy all of a sudden.

His mother looked just as sad, and his papa look pitiful. "Son.. I don't think there is anything we can do."

Kire's mouth opened and shut several times, not knowing what to say. "But, but you're a grown up, you have to know."

His siblings were just catching up when Ainsley Loren turned to his foals, nudging them back. "Come children, I'll take care of this."

All the foals, after a quick glance at the poor bird again walked away with their mother, watching their father kneel and then they could see nothing.

Kire just knew his papa was going to help the bird, and it was okay to fly home to his family, and they were going to be so happy to its return. He smiled up at his mother, and was confused to see sadness still. Kire nudged her belly lightly, smiling sweetly. "Its alright mama, papa's fixin the bird up all better."

She smiled sweetly in return, and leaned down and nipped his hair. "I know dear... I know."

Plot Ideas:
Hmm. I have a few. o uo

• I'd like to see Kire adopt a foal he might have found sick or abandoned. Stirred by this, he would start a refuge for those recovering from the recent war broken out by kalona, especially child who have lost their parents. He has a kind heart for those who are of need, and is happiest when he is helping others.

• I'd also like to see Kire pushed. Running into a group of unfriendly foes that want to shove, and provoke him would be interesting to see. I'd love for Kiran to come into his manhood knowing he can hold his own, when he didn't even realize.

• Kire is one of those born drawing others to him. He never wants for company, always having them surround him since a foal. I would like to see him in a group of best friends (like four or five) from foalhood to adulthood-- it would be even better to see his siblings in that group as well! (I can't vouch for their personalities as its not posted, another reason I went with prompt one) Similar to How I Met Your Mother, or Friends.

Basket Name: Kailum Loren
Temper: Versatile
Personality:
Kailum is a quiet and reflective individual who is interested in understanding and helping other soquili. Thanks to his expansive family he has a well-developed system of values that he strictly adheres to. One of these said values that he stresses a great deal is loyalty; he will never leave a loved one in need even if it is hazardous to his own well-being. He does not consider himself to be knightly, but he has always listened to the wisdom bestowed upon him by his grandfather Crisanto who, he is told, he takes after quite a bit. He is also rather adaptable to various situations; a trait he credits to his mother’s sense of adventure for it allowed him to broaden his horizons, and desensitized him to countless things that would have otherwise become a source of discomfort in his later years. He is a quick minded individual who is able to see possibilities in nearly everything he investigates, including other soquili.

Kailum is far from perfect though and on, albeit relatively few, occasions has demonstrated a proclivity toward a somewhat unbecoming temper should his values be questioned or challenged. In these instances he finds himself unable to be the bigger soquili or to turn the other cheek. Chalk it up to pride or stubbornness; Kailum recognizes this deficit within himself and hopes to one day rectify it. He is very hard on himself in this sense because he is a perfectionist who wishes to be the best he can be, and he rarely gives himself enough credit.

For the most part he is a very intuitive being whose main goal in life is to make the lives of others as pleasurable as is possible. He is a wonderful listener and, though generally reserved, is genuinely interested in the emotional wellbeing of those around him. He dislikes conflict and tends to attempt to avoid it whenever he can.

Lastly, he is always attempting to answer the question of what his purpose in life is. He knows he dearly wishes to help as many soquili as he can, but he doesn’t exactly know how to do that just yet.

Prompt Choice: 1
Prompt Entry:
This was the first time he and his siblings would accompany their parents into the depths of the forest. Admittedly he was feeling a tad nervous about the expedition but, being the introvert that he was, plastered an amused smile upon his countenance and acted as confident and excited as his siblings. He knew very well that his family would allow no harm to befall him but, still, this was something new and he hadn’t been in the world for very long. Weighing this thought with the values he had been taught by his family thus far, he decided the adventure aspect of the journey would benefit him strongly. Not only would it allow him to explore the unexplored but he could confidently say he faced his fears and benefitted from doing so. “Are you ready my darlings?” His mother’s soft voice caused him to turn his head.

Behind her honey colored eyes he could see a spark of excitement that was infectious, causing his own heart to beat enthusiastically within his chest. “Yea!” He shouted youthfully along with his siblings before initiating a brief game of chase with his younger brother Kaila. Upon hearing the deep thrum of his father’s chuckling he spun quickly around to smile up at Loren. “Oh, I don’t know dear,” he looked to Criana, “they just don’t seem excited enough. Maybe we should hold off until another day?” At this point every ounce of nervousness had drained from Kailum’s system and been replaced by the shared fervor of his siblings and mother, so upon hearing his father’s words his ears drooped. “C’mon dad!” He whined. “We’re excited! I promise!” He defended. The others joined in and soon his father’s laugh alerted him to the fact that it was a jest from the very beginning. Gently head-butting Loren’s shoulder he flicked his tail and snorted. “That was mean!”

The three foals hung closely at their parent’s sides as they dove deeper and deeper into the heart of the forest. Six pairs of eyes enlarged at the new sights around them but, before long, the novelty had worn off and the foals had become evidently more comfortable within these new surroundings. His two siblings were bouncing around, nosing through bushes and perking their ears at unfamiliar sounds. At one unusual sound Loriana ventured a guess as to what had made it and Kaila instantly pointed out that she was wrong. The two started at an argument that grew louder and louder with each moment, the topic shifting from sounds to how dumb the other was, and eventually tears began to fall. Before either of his parents could step forward, as they had done on many occasions, Kailum had wedged himself in between the two with a look of intent plastered upon his face.

“Stop it guys!” He stated in a strict yet mild voice, his eyes moving from one sibling to the other calmly. “Can’t you tell you’re hurting each other’s feelings?” Both of them sniffled, but anger still remained present on their faces as they glared at one another under his neck. Heaving a sigh that revealed he knew this would be harder to fix than just telling them to stop, he stepped out from between them and squared himself so that he was standing before them. “Kaila, that wasn’t very nice of you to tell Loriana she was wrong.” Looking to his sister he gave her a warm smile that was soon returned, but he began speaking again. “Loriana, you shouldn’t have said Kaila was dumb. That was really mean and I can tell it really hurt his feelings.” Turning to his brother he shook his head. “No one is dumb here, or if they are, we’re all dumb together. I didn’t even know what that noise was, but guessing is a good way to find out. We have to be nicer to each other and, like grandpa says, be the bigger soquili.” Stepping in between both of them again he nuzzled one, then the other. “We have to not hurt each other’s feelings, kay?” For a moment all was silent until Kaila began complaining about how he was right and Loriana was wrong. The argument started up once more and this time Kailum was dragged into it. “Who says we have to be nice to each other?! She started it, and now you’re pretending to be a know-it-all!” Having his values questioned, and realizing his attempt at mediation had failed, he jumped into the argument with great passion as he defended himself and his beliefs.

It wasn’t long before both of their parents had to step in and break up the fight. The three foals ignored one another all the way home and Kailum chastised himself for not only being unable to stop the fight, but becoming a part of it as well. His mother must have picked up on this for when they got home she held him back a moment, mussing his mane with her nose and smiling down at him. “My little mediator,” she started affectionately, “one day you will learn how to help them, and everyone else too. For now, just keep your ears and heart open okay?” Hearing his mother’s words allowed him to smile and he finally began thinking about how badly he wanted to help not only his siblings, but everyone around him. He wanted them to be happy and didn’t want to see them cry anymore. “Thanks mama.” He responded, pressing his head into her chest briefly before running after his siblings to try, once again, to mend the rift.

Plot Ideas:

Foalhood:

Define "Helpful": Kailum has just realized how badly he wants to help others but he is still young and unsure of what that truly means. Does it mean breaking up fights? Or giving them stuff? Or being nice? Or does it mean more? Here I want him to interact with his family, having them describe to him what they believe is helpful and what they believe is not. Perhaps he may even get carried away with being helpful and get to the point of just being annoying. Regardless, he needs some guidance from his peers.

Mediator: Kailum genuinely cares about the feelings of others and is very good at picking up on when they are upset or happy. When a conflict occurs, though he wishes to avoid them, he takes a more emotional approach. He doesn't care who is right and wrong, he just cares that others are getting hurt in the process. While this makes him seem a bit illogical at times it is just who he is. I would like for him to successfully put an end to a fight by using this method. Then perhaps later I would like for him to get into a fight and be unable to resolve his own battles. He is good with helping others, but not himself really.

Adulthood

A Fire Inside: Kailum is quick to defend his values, and he does so aggressively and passionately. I would like for him to come across someone who believes his values to be nonsense or "goody two-shoes" in nature and taunt him. This will end up leading to a fight, and a nasty one. This is where Kailum will first discover just how bad that flaw of his really is.

How May I Be Of Service?: Kailum's whole goal is to help others and to make them happy, now this is unrealistic but he still strives for it. I want him to do something, form a group or start something that is devoted entirely to helping those who are in need. It can be as simple as welcoming others to talk with him about their problems (Horsey psychology?? Why not?!) or actually acting as an official mediator/peace talker. Whatever it is, I want him to find his niche and do what he has always wanted to do! (Of course, for this, he will need a lot of help from his family. Throughout this entire journey he will lean heavily on them for support and guidance.)
