Painite grinned at him, nodding her head. She liked the idea of him going out and causing his own brand of trouble without anyone having to tell him. He was using the Chaos he was given for the purposes it was given to them for.
He was now part of her Hope for the Future list.
"Not all sentimentality is worthless and dangerous," Painite hummed, but she wasn't really thinking about her weapon. She smiled at him and nodded her head. "Keep your crystal open," as if they had a choice, "I think I'll be giving you a call soon, if you're interested, for a bit of fun. I want you to help me with something... fun."
She grinned and almost purred her contentment, moving over to him and kissing him lightly on the cheek. He was a very serious sort, these days, but there was a need for balance in the Negaverse, and far too few people who really understood where they stood in the scheme of things.

He quirked one eyebrow and nodded a bit when she talked about 'fun'. He had a feeling he would be interested, but he was never sure how enthusiastic to be, not in these uncertain times with the always unpredictable Painite.
Her kiss on his cheek mentally knocked him on his a**, though. He was seventeen, sue him.
Plus, all that awkwardness was combined with the fact he always half expected Painite to unhinge her jaw and eat him, so it was a very confused hormonal rush.
"A-... I--... Will do," He said, clearing his throat and giving a stiff semblance of a salute before he decided it was probably best to part ways now before he embarrassed himself.

Painite liked being unpredictable, and his face after she kissed him so affectionately made everything reach the highest point of perfection it could possibly attain that night. She laughed and cooed at him teasingly, patting him on the shoulder as he struggled to remember what words were.
"I'll see you later then. Relax, and enjoy yourself. You're strong and you're capable, and this is your world for the taking. Enjoy it!"
She laughed and stepped back, winking at him before she teleported, to spare him any more mental implosions. She had rattled him enough for one night, though she was more than a little glad for the encounter. Seeing him had refreshed her view of the Negaverse a bit, reminded her that there were those out there, like him and Natron and Serpentine and quite a few others now that she was thinking about it, that had the potential of being great. Being what the Negaverse was meant to be, if they were allowed to do it.
So, in the end, it had been a good night out.
