"That's a good idea, Isi ! Im sure we can find something nice !" Or make something nice. Either way, Caelia was certain that they'd show their dad just how much they all loved him.

He was silly to think they didn't, but she figured he was allowed to act silly every now and then. Augury herself certainly did ! And their dad was so busy, and so he was probably really tired. He certainly was allowed to be silly, though they would still prove him wrong.

Isidore nodded at both of them.
"Yes, I think something with bones too. if we can find some to make something extra special. But first we should plan how we're going to get the spirits. First, Alva, you should speak with the Valkyries and see if you can help them. Kyrie and Calia should go and speak with the Crows. Maybe Infinity can help?"

Alva nooded. She could do that, or the pair of them could. She wondered if they would help or if they would think that it was a crazy idea, they were just children afterall, though who was she to stop them if they wanted to help, they were clearly not your average kids, they were gods. They had power of their own and inquisitive minds.

"This is a good plan Isi," Kyrie nodded in agreement with her brother. Pushing herself up to her feet, she fluffed her feathers a little and looked to her sister. "We can go right now Cae if you would like?" she offered, then paused and looked back down at her brother. "What are you going to do Isi? Will you need help once Cae and I are done speaking with the crows?" she asked and reached out to lightly rest her hand on his soft hair. She truly hoped that they would be able to pull off this little venture. She did not want her father to be hurting because he was taking on too much.

"We should probably talk to the valkyries first." Caelia nodded. "Mom always says you have to get all the pieces together before you try to solve a puzzle. Once we know if they'll help or not, we can plan a little more accordingly."

She certainly hoped they would. Caelia was certain that Nath would. He was too nice not to.

Isidore was a little uneasy about telling the Valkyries, though it really was the best idea. In his mind they were adults and so they might not agree with what they were planning to do. After all, as people kept telling them they were children and were supposed to do as they were told. Then again, they were doing it all for good so the adults couldn’t be that mad at them, could they?
“Okay, so I can go with Alva and speak with them but ...” he paused “Are we sure they won’t tell mama and dad? what if they don’t like what we are planning?” he felt it was a valid concern.

"It will be fine Isi." Alva replied. She was pretty sure that the Valkyries would go along with their plan. Val would see to that and she was sure that they would want to help too, without Ankou and Cosine having to know. "We'll convince them that this needs to be a surprise.

“Okay.” He replied, though he still didn’t feel one hundred percent confident that their cover wasn’t going to be blown. “So I will go with Alva and you guys can go to the crows and then we can all meet at St Kore.

Kyrie nodded to Caelia's logic. Their mother did say that and it made a lot of sense. Particularly in this case. They needed to make sure that everything was working together before they called the spirits to them. It could prove disastrous if they had no order and were suddenly flooded by spirits of all walks of life. Assuming, of course, they could get them to follow the crows to St. Kore. No. That was not helpful thinking. She and Cae would get the crows to get the message across to the spirits. They could not let their father down, even if he did not know that it was a possibility at this point.

Her brother's concern about the Valkyries was a valid one. But they really did not have a choice. They needed their help. Especially if there were going to be angry spirits, and there were always angry spirits in the stories she read. So it was better to be safe than sorry there. Alva's reassurance served to wash those worries away. Surely the Valkyries would see it from their point of view. There was no need to worry their parents when they had clearly thought everything through.

"Okay. It really will all work out Isi. You'll see," she said encouragingly. It really had to. What else could they possibly do? "Are you ready Cae?" she asked and held her hand out to her sister.

"Things will be okay, Isi. They want to help just as much as we do. We'll just give him ideas to help." She could understand her brother's concerns, and shared them in part, though for the most part Caelia was rather optimistic. Things would go alright, and if they didn't, then they would find a way to fix them. It was as simple as that.

"You can just say it's my fault if we get caught." In a way, it was. She had been the one who heard, after all. She was used to being the michevious child by now, after all.

She would slide down from her bed and nod at Kyrie, before taking her hand. "Yeah, let's go, Ky. We probably will have to go to the woods to find them."

Isidore gave a nod of agreement, it would work because it had to work. Failure was not an option for them because if they failed then their dad would get even sadder and be even busier and what if he forgot about them or got lost on his travels because he was working too hard? That would have been just awful. No, they would succeed and they would help him and then he would be able to work less and spend more time at home. That would make him happy and their mother happy and everything would be great. Of this Isidore was convinced.
He pushed himself up off the floor and stretched a little like Scim would stretch after a nap, the grim followed suit and shook himself off.
“Auntie Val and I will go and speak to the Valkyries.” He was a little nervous of them. Nath was fun but some of them were a little strange, their Auntie Val’s friend was rather scary too. “After we’ve done that we’ll set up the church.” They would need some flowers certainly, maybe some music and a congregation too, how were they going to get a load of people to come for a big funeral. He wondered if people had big funerals for lots of people rather than ones for just one person.
“Um I have a thought, who do you think is best to ask about funerals?” he asked the group, then in his mind answered the question. “Oh! Maybe Auntie Echo knows? I can go and ask her all about it.” He hadn’t seen her for a while but he knew where she lived and she was pretty and nice so he was sure that she would help him if she could. He wouldn’t even have to tell her anything about what they were really up to, he could just act curious as he always did.

Kyrie took her sister's hand firmly in her own and gave it a squeeze. In truth, they did not need to go to the forest to talk to the crows, but she would be able to call more to them if they were closer to the source, so she put up no argument.
"Good plan Isi. Once we're through speaking with the crows, Cae and I will return to help you," she smiled and nodded to him, the began to drag her sister out of her room.
