Jayleen felt his hand move to her hip and she smiled as she knew that she was doing the right thing then. She started to lose herself into the dance the more she danced with him. Why did this guy seem so familiar? She wondered while she danced and soon heard his voice next to her ear. Even his voice sounded similar.
She smiled and giggled slightly when he spun her and pulled her close up against her body. She kept moving and grinding herself against him so he could feel her body up against his. She looked up at him and moved her face closer to his ear so she didnt have to yell as loud. When she reached it she spoke into it to say.
"Jayleen. What about you?" She asked him. His name was really going to say if she knew him or not. The fact that he was familiar was starting to annoy her. She needed a name to put to a face that the might have met before. It seems like they held something sweet together almost magically. She looked up at him as she kept her head laid against his shoulder. She bite her bottom lips slightly waiting for the answer she was looking for from him.

Jayleen waited for the answer. She didnt know why it was taking him a little to answer her. Maybe it was because of the dancing that they were doing. Maybe he just got excited way to easily. She lifted to her and was about to ask him again when she heard his name.
"Daniel." She looked at him and her eyes furrowed together still not knowing who this guy was. But that's when it hit her and her eyes suddenly turned sad. "As in Daniel Mills?" She asked him as her voice cracked. That's why he felt and looked so familiar. It was because they dated for a while and she fell in love with his, but he broke up with her and every since she's never been able to forget about him.
She slowly let go of his hands and looked down as she backed away from him. She ended up hitting someone, but she didnt care. She just needed to get out of there. She looked back up at the guy and anyone could tell that she had tears in her eyes. She quickly turned to leave and pushed herself through the crowd of people.
She reached the table again and sat down. She put her head in her heads as flashbacks of their relationship ran through her mind. He only broke up with her because they were supposed to be going separate ways, but she ended up stay and going to college around here instead of going somewhere else for college.

Daniel watched her and noticed that she suddenly looked sad. The moment she said his full name it hit him in the stomach pretty hard and he felt like he was going to be sick. This was in fact Jayleen Joy, his ex-girlfriend. It made him feel bad honestly, mostly because he had never really gotten over her either.
He felt her hands slipping away from his and soon she backed up. He was quick to stop dancing and he frowned. He could see the tears in her eyes, even with all the lights. Seeing her take off made him go after her. He wouldn't just let her cry, especially knowing it was his fault. Honestly, he didn't talk to her after the break up, so he hadn't known that she stayed for college rather than left.
Seeing her sit at the table he slowed down and he sighed. He moved over and sat next to her. "Jayleen, I'm sorry." He let out. "I... Didn't know you would be here." He let out. He didn't know how to comfort her, but he reached over and pulled her close, hugging her to him. "I know you won't forgive me easily, especially with what I did, but I am extremely sorry."
He wasn't sure how he could make her believe him, but he'd have to try at least. Although a part of him feared that she would just push him away and yell at him.

Jayleen sat there at the table with her head still in her hands. She couldn't believe that he was a bartender. It was the job he always wanted, but he wasn't sure that he was really going to go into it. She was happy he did and doesnt work at Walmart.
Jayleen heard his voice again and she looked up. She didnt want to see him anymore because once she sees him more and hears his voice she going to go running back to him. She just can't. She can't go through that pain again. As she looked at him she dropped her eyes right before he pulled her into a hug.
That's all it took for her to cave. She felt a few of her tears run down her her cheeks as she moves closer to him. She missed his touch. She missed everything about him.
She slowly started to wrap her arms around him. He was still the best huggier that she came across even though he was just trying to comfort her. She wrapped her arms around him tighter scared that he was going to leave again and she wasn't going to be able to see him every again.

Daniel felt his heart start to beat harder knowing that she was breaking down. It honestly upset him more than anything, but he had to tough it out really. He felt her arms slowly wrap around him, it was obvious she seemed hesitant about it, but that soon changed.
Her arms got tighter around him and he smiled weakly, resting his chin on top of her head. He rubbed her back as he held her. "It will be alright.." He let out softly, loud enough for only her to hear. Maybe another drink would help her calm down? It worked for him, but he wasn't too sure about her.
"Do you need another drink?" He questioned as he pulled back some. He reached down, placing a hand under her chin and had her look up at him. He wiped away her tears with his thumb and smiled gently.
"Come on Jayleen, you're going to mess up your makeup on your birthday." He let out softly, trying to lighten the situation even just a little. Although he was pretty sure it wouldn't happen. He felt bad for saying his real name, he should have just lied... Then again, she would have found out one way or another.

Jayleen heard him ask if she wanted a drink and she choked out "No." She soon felt her head being pulled up from the spot she had it laying against. When her face was lifted up she looked at him and felt the way he wiped her tears away from her cheeks. She leaned into his touch without even knowing she was doing. She missed his touch that much and she wanted to keep his touch there.
She softly made a laugh escape her lips as he told her that she didnt want to ruin her make up. She probably already did, but he should of wiped most of the make up off that ran down her face from her tears.
One reason she loved him so much. Was the way that he was with girls. He treated her how a guy should treat a girl. They even shared their most important thing they had to offer anyone. They were apart of each other after it and she would never forget about it. He was the only guy that he's only gone that far with. She hasn't even had a boyfriend since they broke up because she didnt want to go through that heart break again.

Jayleen felt his wipe her cheeks again and she smiled at him softly. He always knew how to make her feel better. Even when she was mad at him he could instantly make her forgive him like it was nothing.
She nodded her head to being alright as she looked at him. He has grown up a lot. He no longer had the boy face he used to have. He now had the face of a young man. She smiled as she thought about that and laughed to herself.
When he hugged her again she smiled more and hugged him tighter. She wanted no room between them to make up for all the time that they lost, but she knew she would have a hard time trying to forget about the heart break he caused. Even with him being able to help her forgive easy that with be a hard thing to get over. She hoped that he would start to talks to her again because she's missed him like crazy. For about four months she didnt sleep and she could barely eat. Her mom even had to take her to a therapist to help her through her break up. It was embarrassing, but it did help her forget about him enough for her to be able to sleep and eat again.

Jayleen lifted her head up and let go of him. She sat straight up and noticed how close they were. She was happy at that since she wouldn't have to yell so much. She looked over at him and smiled at what he said about her friend.
"Yeah well you're not her type." She told him honestly. "I don't know why she was flirting with you. Probably just so I could have fun on nmy birthday." She told him as she looked out on the dance floor. She watched as all the people kept dancing and were getting sweaty together.
She really wanted to dance again, but she didnt know if he would dance with her again. She swallowed slightly and looked over at him. "Can we dance again." She asked him shyly as she looked away from him and saw her friend coming over to then with two shots in her hands. She sat them down and them winked at Jayleen turning around and walking off again. Jayleen smiled and took the shot and sat the glass down on the table. She hopped he would want to dance with her again because she could already feel being tipsy and she wanted to let herself go.

Daniel smiled softly to her and shrugged, "Well I guess that is a good thing then, huh?" He laughed some. "If she would have claimed me for herself then I wouldn't have met you again." He let out with a rather flirty tone.
He looked out towards the dance floor where she was looking although paused before he could answer her question on dancing again. He looked over to see her friend came with shots. He grinned slightly and watched Jayleen take the shot. When she finished the shot, Daniel rose to his feet and he grabbed her hands, helping her up to her feet.
"Lets go dance, birthday girl." He laughed some. He knew she wanted to dance, and he was alright with it. Actually, Daniel had taken a few dance classes after they broke up so he knew what he was doing. "You're also lucky I don't get excited easily." He let out in a playful manner as he led her towards the dance floor.

Jayleen smiled as he helped her up to her feet and she walked behind him. She grabbed onto his hand tighter as he said it was lucky he doesn't get excited easy. She saw the crowd start to come closer to her and smiled. When they reached the dance floor she started to pull him into the crowd and found another spot. She pulled him to a spot and then moved into position with one leg between his and then one of his legs between hers.
"I thought I made you excited." She told him in his ear as she pulled her face back a little so that she could look up at him through her eye lashes. She started to grind against him again. She moved her hand down to grip onto his as she intertwined their fingers.

Daniel followed after her to where she wanted to go and he faced her, grinning as she moved into position. He listened to what she said before he looked down at her. He chuckled a bit. "Oh, a little full of yourself Miss Jayleen?" He questioned with a seductive tone. He danced with her, grinding on her right back. He felt her grab his hand and intertwine their fingers, which he gladly held her hand back. His other hand wrapped around her lower back to keep her close.
"It isn't that easy to make me excited anymore, unless I've had a lot to drink." He admitted with a slight chuckle as he continued to dance with her. She was still cute as ever and honestly looked too innocent to be grinding on him in such a fashion, but he wouldn't complain.
