"Yes," Alistair said. He shrugged casually, as if it wasn't all that big of a deal. "One thing Azure admittedly lacks." It was a simple, general consideration. Azure was not well-known for its elegant piano players, but more for its electronica beats.
"I suppose with much practice, anything doesn't seem hard," Alistair agreed. He often felt the same way about his theatrical performance. "As for what I'm here for, well, I do attend school here. More specifically, I heard your playing, I was curious, and I wanted to get to know you." He flashed a rather charming smile.

He absent-mindedly poked at a few keys with a finger. He supposed that made sense. Lance remembered how much he practiced when he first beginning.
Lance gave him a flat stare at his answer, despite his shy side. "...I meant what do you go here for...But I guess that works." He blinked a few times.

And that was when Alistair cracked a very amused smile. "I go here because my parents can afford to send me here. I'm assuming you're on scholarship?" He was fairly casual about his family's money. It was his grandfather's anyway, and really, it was just sort of...a part of his life that existed.

"Oh." ... Somehow finding out the kid had money didn't surprise him. Lance nodded, tapping a few keys, though these didn't seem as random as the last set. "Yeah... Otherwise..." He trailed off. There was no way he would be able to attend this school if it wasn't for that.

Alistair almost felt guilty. Sometimes he was sure he didn't deserve such an exclusive school. Then again, he was here, and that was what mattered. He'd just take the quality of education and put it to work later. "If I may take a guess...music?" He asked. It seemed the obvious answer, what with the incredible piano playing and all.

"Mhmm. Obvious?" Other then the music. Lance was your typical kid when it came to school. Average grades, average problems with classes. He didn't really excel at any of them. If it weren't for the scholarship, he would have been back in Meadow View probably.
So Alistair had the money, Lance had the scholarship. Talk about opposite ends of the playing field.

"Somewhat." He replied jokingly. "You know, I'm surprised I never noticed you before. I'd like to think I'd pick up on someone so attractive." Yup, with the blatantly flirting. Alistair could be fairly terrible when it came to that. He just found it so easy to find things to compliment.

"I just started a few-" Lances mouth snapped shut as he blinked at Alister. ...Then turned a bright red. There was no way... Was he being hit on?
Oh. Good. God.
... Well this was unexpected. Lance could already feel the urge to scamper out of the room and go hide somewhere. He opened and closed his mouth a few times. As if he was going to say something. ...Nothing came out.
God damn it.

"A few..." Alistair prompted. He couldn't help but chuckle quietly at how obviously flustered Lance was. It was just too absurdly cute. Also, it had been a while since he flustered someone in the blushing and stammering way. He had to admit, even if it was a bit mean, he liked being able to have that effect on people.

"Oh, really? Well, welcome to Azure then!" Alistair said. "If you'd like, I'd be happy to show you around. I've been going here for the past four years, so I know it fairly well, I think." He said. He really seemed intentionally oblivious to the effect he was having on Lance. Too fun.

A rather teasing smile appeared on Alistair's face. "Well, then, I would be happy to." He stood up and offered Lance a hand, his smile shifting from teasing to charming. It was a rare thing that he actually persisted in flirting for longer than the initial introduction, but Lance intrigued him.
Also, he hadn't seen hair that pretty in a long time.

Lance's first thought at that smile was 'Maybe this was a bad idea.' But he quickly pushed that aside. He glanced at the piano again, then at the hand.
...Aw what the hell. It couldn't hurt anything.
So he took the hand.

Alistair pulled him up, still smiling in the most charming way he could manage. "So tell me, where would you like to start?" He asked, still hanging on to Lance's hand. Of course, if asked he would let go, but for now...well.
