NOW HE HAD LIGHTNING! Okay, Yaholo was terrified, but kept his stance. He had to battle, he had to battle, he had to battle! No running away, that would be stupid! He raised his hammer and decided to try to land a hit to Biroki's other side, he had heard the bones crack in the other one, too.

Biroki dodged away quickly, surprised at his own agility. Well, if he was good at something he guessed it might as well be running away. As the air from the hammer's passing brushed his skin, he took a deep breath, focusing his mind. He could do this... He could do this! He could try pretty well at least!

Yaholo could sense Biroki's rise in focus and smiled. Well, now he was getting the hang of it! He had made some attacks, go Yaholo more than a little scared, and his confidence was rising! Good for him! He would applaud him for his growth as a fighter, if he wasn't busy making another swing for Biroki's shoulder.

Biroki might as well have not bothered to power up. His eyes widened as the hammer came in too fast and he dodged right into the worst of the swing.
He collapsed on the ground and winced in pain. Ow. Ow ow ow. He hit the ground with his staff in frustration, losing his grip and dropping it in the Jahuaran muck.
"Damn it..." he said, his voice somewhat high-pitched, "Damn damn damn..."
He lay down, exhausted.
"I th-thought I'd do b-better, not end up on the g-ground" he managed. gasping. he was pretty sure something was broken.

Yaholo WINS!
Yaholo squeaked and raced forward to help Biroki up off the ground. He hadn't meant to be so hard on him! All he wanted to do was have a good, fair battle, but poor Biroki, Yaholo had shown no mercy! He slung his hammer back onto his back and slowly lifted Biroki up.
"I'm sorry!" He cried, chuckling nervously. "Let's get you healed up, okay?"
