"You desire a certain level of 'freedom' because it is all you know," Aziza replied with a simple shrug, she may not have agreed with his lifestyle, one that she regarded as uncomfortable and problematic in many respects, but she would respect it. What he defined as claustrophobic was safe to her, if she sought freedom, then she was given it. The walls and restrictions he saw seemed to be fabricated by his own mind, but who was she to tell him this? Eventually he would move on with his quest and in doing so he would depart from her company and pursue his own goals.
To find his father, that was it, wasn't it?
"If you want to chastise it or find fault in it, then this is your prerogative," she pointed out gently. They were drawing near the edge of the colony and eventually she would be subjected to the 'wilds' so to speak; granted she would still be in the relevant safety of the immediate vicinity of her home, but she rarely found it enjoyable. Was it pretty? Most certainly, it was lovely to look at - but in the end the heat rose and it became decidedly uncomfortable. She enjoyed the shade, enjoyed access to everything she wanted and wandering about blindly to find it wasn't something she really aspired to... Suffice it to say that she was most definitely pampered!
"But yes, you come across as somewhat judgemental in your remarks that you regard four walls as claustrophobic when there is nothing to prevent you from leaving," she cast her gaze back towards the red stallion pointedly and shook her head. A small sigh escaped her lips and then she looked away again, hopping over a rock that had been positioned in front of her. "You can't define freedom by what you perceive as physical obstacles," she stated and cleared her throat.
"Particularly when you have no freedom of your own and it is because of what is in your head, no?"
