Zuri
Some how she had been seprated from her beloved Biroki, but she was sure they would run into each other sooner or later. Walking around she spotted many faces that she knew. She wondered if her twin siblings would come, there were others from the Ice Tribe she had already ran into. It would be nice to see them, it had been much too long.
Spotting Niabi she made her way over, and frowned at seeing the shop keeper yelling at her. She knew Niabi was a kind soul, well from what she remembered she was. She didn't mean any harm. "It's fine, I'll buy this one." she replied to Liira with a friendly smile. She didn't know this girl, or at least she didn't remember her. It had been a long time since she left the Ice Tribe. People changed and grew up.
"Do you want it? If not I'll keep it, but maybe you could take it home?" she offered. Personally her and Birkoi didn't need it, but if Niabi wanted it then she could have it. In fact Zuri wanted her to keep it. She wasn't sure if Niabi was going to take her advice to travel, but if not at least this could make her think of far away places while she was still home.

Ilyra She was so excited, this the biggest adventure she had ever been on! Not only that, but Briella was letting her fight! She wished she had a better bow, the one she had was just your run of the mill one, but she had faith in her skill. She had been practicing ever since Briella told her about this trip. She didn't want to lose her first battle, or any of them for that matter!
She made her way over to Dyakida's table and smiled to see that there was someone already there! "Hello there!" she said happily to both Dyakida and Aminah, then smiling at Sathe she wiggled her fingers. She caught the girl saying she was too young for the things at the stall. How different from what she thought at that age. "Well there are some back there for your age if you want to see them." she offered Sathe.

Briella Briella had been getting some food for Dyakida and her and was headed back to the booth when Aminah walked up. She smiled and hurried over. "Hey! It has been some time." she said with a laugh. Aminah was a good fighter, and someone she enjoyed praticing with. Their last two battles had taught Briella a lot, hopefully it would help her out in the battles here.
Soon Ilyra was there as well. "Aminah, have you met my daughter? Ilyra this is my friend Aminah." she said with a smile. She was pretty sure that Ilyra hadn't ate for a while, so she tossed her a fruit and gave her a motherly look to make sure Ilyra would eat it and not complain.

Horned instruments blared from within the stadium, and the crowd quieted. The tournament was starting! Once it was realized what was going on, the fairgrounds cleared out and people were practically stampeding through the doors to get a good view of the fights. A few stayed behind, lingering in the shops and talking amongst friends. No doubt they would catch up later. But for now, the opening ceremony had begun.
[Feel free to continue RPing as usual. Contestants are allowed to continue RPing as well during the duration of their fight.]

Kelina's face lit up as soon as she heard her sister's shout. With an outstretched hand, she waved and hurried over to where her sister was now talking with a shifter. She walked over to where they were standing. "Looks like you've found a friend, I'm Kelina, Lasarra's sister." She introduced herself, offering her hand to shake his. She wrapped an arm casually around her sister's shoulders as she heard the horns blare signalling the start of the tournament. "It's starting!" She said excitedly.

[Dyakida: At her stall] "Aminah?" Dyakida was both surprised and not at the familiar voice. She smiled. "Long time no see, indeed" She said, "Though I can't say the same, I expect to find you in the oddest places for some reason. Will you be battling?"
She tilted her head. "Also, Who is with you?" she asked as she heard a cute little voice.
Little.... Oh no. A youngling. But she would be polite.
She smiled down at the voice, not quite sure about where they were. They sounded higher but they had to be tiny, to have that high pitch.
"I have a few practice items as well" she said, nodding towards Ilyra, "Ah, Ilyra. You found me. I have something for you, actually, speaking of practice items. Remember what we discussed?" she said, feeling through the shelves at the back of her stall, "Well," she took out a wrapped package with the bow and the string, "Here it is." she said, holding it out. "I'm sorry there's less fanfare, but I hear that the battles are going to start soon?"
She relaxed a bit at hearing Briella's voice. Yes, this was why she had come. [Peyla: at the bookie, plotting nefarious plots] Now the Shiny-thing man was shuffling things and putting things away and people were starting to file into the big circle fields. What was he doing?
She tried to fly closer to investigate, but he swatted at her. "No! Get away, pest!"Hmmph! Pest?! Her Alkidike didn't need her, so she had some time...
To teach this fat earthling a lesson! She grinned broadly. This would be fun.

[Hijil: Milling about]
Hijil noticed the crowd slowly filing to the arenas. Was it starting?
She had seen a name that made her spine stiffen and her heart race. Dare she watch her fight? She decided that she could, but only after she had wrapped a traded piece of cloth over her face and hair. She couldn't bare the thought of being recognized and causing pain to the only person who had shown her what real affection was. But she could watch.
[Biroki: Waiting in his Arena]
Biroki had intentionally separated himself from Zuri, not that he would tell her that. He was just a bundle of nerves. He was bad at battling, as his previous attempts had shown, and he didn't know why he had entered.
Only that now that he had entered he was going to win. He had his tea in an insulated canteen, and he had been drinking it. He was meditating.
He would not, could not, should not lose this fight. He was determined to win.
So, he waited for it to begin.
[Kaalnia: Getting Psyched]
Aww yeah! Kaalnia couldn't wait to start! So many pretty ladies in the crowd, so little time! She hadn't even realized that people came in blue! Oh yes, she was so excited! She even did a little dance with her spear.

[Ruelash: In the stands for now, just before his battle] Ruelash poked at the furs. Okay, so he liked furs. Furs were lovely and they kept you warm. Except it was too ********' hot for them here. He hated waiting. He wanted to fight!
There was an alkidike at the same stall and he glared over at her. He was antsy and grumpy and he just wanted to do something.
"Hey" he said to Niabi, moving closer and inspecting one of the furs.
Shiiiit, these were nice furs. He was going to ask her what the hell she needed furs for, but then little miss spoiled shopkeeper blueskin whiner spoke up and he felt his hackles raise. And it was good.
"Shaddup an' leave her alone." he snarled at Liira. HE wasn't buying so HE didn't have to be polite. Did she want a fight? He'd give her one! He was all ready to go.
And then some OTHER lady decided to be all diplomatic and polite. He shot her a glare. He was TRYING to deal with this b***h, please KINDLY stop interfering.
Then he shot her another glare, and another.
"I know you"

Speaking to Liira Interacting with Ruelash In the same area as Niabi ● ● ● [ Jerarda moving towards the stalls] Post: 1
The alkidike wasn't in the mood, though she was mildly miffed she had missed the chance for signing up for the tournament she would just have to be intimidating in the fairgrounds instead. The woman had been searching high and low for her companion Rishima, it was unlike him to wander off, but it seemed that there had been sightings with him with a pale skinned shifter. It made her grin, if only because it was funny. That Rishima now had someone clinging to him, despite how timid the male could be.
Of course she was irritated now because she had to find him, and she had important information to go over with him. Since her attack in the swamp she had been less than vocal about her endeavors . Though she couldn't help but be drawn to the shop stalls where all sorts of interesting things were being sold there. Picking up a charm that was suppose to boost her skills with the spear she was looking at it dubiously . It was expensive, but she supposed that all pretty things ended up that way.
It was the sound of loud voices that caught her attention. Looking over she spotted someone from the ice tribe getting rather uppity at a woman who was running it. She was also of the ice tribe and was sporting many soft pelts as her wares. Impressive was the number of pelts the various shades and textures.
Jerarda of course had no idea what exactly was going on, but biased on the unimpressed look of the seller and the rather aggressive posture of the male something had offended either one or both of them. Approaching the six foot something woman was an imposing sight, especially with her spear still in hand. Hands and feet wrapped in bandages, her hair tied with fetish's she was a sight to behold.
"You have some interesting pelts here, did you trap them all yourself?" She inquired the merchant woman before she cocked a head to the male.
"The fighting is in the ring, keep it there." She instructed to Ruelash, after all though her tone was even there was something dangerous in her tone. Jerarda had been in a fair amount of scraps in her time, and though she had matured in the sense that she wouldn't just punch the fellow in the jaw she still couldn't help but get in that aggressive state anyway.

Chatting with Tau near food stalls Zweil cheeped in announce at being picked up by someone. Looking up he spotted the feathered headdress. Wiggling eagerly he flapped his wings and tried to land on Tau's head to nest amongst the feathers. Vollerei also looked over as she felt Zweils weight leave her back. She smiled as she saw it was Tau. Raising and eyebrow at his words she responded. "Miss you? Isn't it the other way 'round?" Her stomach rumbled loudly and she plucked Zweil up and put him on Tau's head since that was where he wanted to be. "I'm going to sample every food stall here before and after my fight. Care to join?"Senja
Chatting with Niadra somewhere in the crowd Senja squeaked in surprise as Niadra pounced on her from behind. She then laughed when she saw who it was. "Yes it is! I've never been to a festival this large. Only the ones that we held in our village. There is sooo~ much energy and people here! Ah! I saw your name on the list of fighters, I'll have to cheer you on!" She nudged Niadra in the ribs playfully as she said the last part. She hadn't entered cause she didn't want to be hurt, that and she'd need energy to dance! Ray will post after Lassara posts.

Aminah and Sathe || Standing at Dyakida's stall
Aminah watched as introductions were made. "I didn't know you had a daughter Briella. She's nearly full grown already. How the time flies." She commented and smiled kindly to Ilyra. "Nice to meet you Ilyra." She bounced Sathe further up on her hip, adjusting her to a more comfortable spot before introducing her addition to the group.
"This is my little sister, Sathe. She decided to tag along and come with me. We're seeing if we can find her something nice to take home with her, though I think a weapon might not be her thing right now."
Aminah laughed and turned back to Dyakida. "I will be battling actually. I'm excited to see what all the fuss is about." She took a hand away from holding Sathe to fiddle with some hair that was sticking up. "Sathe, these are some friends from Jauhar. This is Dyakida, Briella, and we're both meeting Ilyra for the first time."
Sathe smiled at Aminah's understanding that a weapon just wasn't for her. She wouldn't have wanted on right now even if Mamma wouldn't have been mad. Her eyes widened at all of the other Alkidike women joining the group. They were all so tall. So much taller than Daddy. And Briella's daughter was so strange. She tried not to stare awkwardly but kept stealing glances as the others were talking.
Sathe snapped back to attention when Aminah fussed with her hair. She was making introductions. She smiled at them all as their names were called. "It's nice to meet you." She wiggled in Aminah's grasp to better get a look at Ilyra. "Thank you, but I don't think I want to look at weapons. Even if they are so nice." She hoped the compliment wouldn't make Dyakida think that she was being rude.

Tau || At the food stalls with Vollerei
Tau let the Alkidike put Zweil onto the top of his headdress and could feel the little guy snuggling up into it. He leaned against the post of the stall and gave her a smirk. "I think it's more likely the way I put it. I know you can't resist this." He winked in her direction before lightening up.
"Ha. Why not just eat everything? I'll come along." He didn't have much else to do before the battles started. And if they were interrupted while eating to go battle, all the better. He would just work up a better appetite to finish off the large amounts of food sold here.
He looked down at the stand they were currently standing at. Honestly, it didn't look like it should be edible, but he wasn't going to back down now. He just hoped that he didn't have to learn what was in all the things he was about to eat. "Starting here?" He pointed down at the blob of something before him. If they were going to try everything, then why not?

Niabi || At Liira's stall
Niabi just wanted to fall into a ditch and die. This was her second time being yelled at by a shop keeper. Though this small woman in front of her wasn't really yelling, her attitude was enough to get her cringing. "I-I'm s-so s-sorry." She gulped hard, hoping it would remove some of her stutter. She was just so flustered now she didn't even think that would do any good.
Zuri approached her and practically saved her day. She looked back and forth between Zuri and the pelt and sighed. "Th-thank you Zuri. You didn't h-have to. If you would rather I t-take it..." She blushed slightly. She didn't want to take things from people. She would feel much better if she had money to pay Zuri back, but she had come stupidly unprepared for this.
A rather loud and obnoxious ice earthling who was viewing the stall with her began to yell at the woman selling wares and Niabi couldn't help but to back away and slightly behind Zuri. He was smaller than her, that was for sure, but it was still hostility at its worst. She was only so relieved when another Sister came to save her once again. Niabi hoped that this Alkidike would calm things down here.

Liira || At her stall
Liira shrugged her shoulders at the earthling woman that had approached. If she was willing to buy it, why not? "Your choice." She accepted the money from Zuri without the slightest bit of guilt. If that girl was willing to buy the fur that the Alkidike mucked up, that's her problem. They can figure out the rest themselves.
A nasty tempered ice earthling approached, butting his head in business that he had not place in and really ticked her off. This was why she didn't like places like this. If only she could beat his head in now instead of waiting for the tournament to do it. She only hoped that she could face him and whoop his a**. She had opened her mouth for the stream of cursing that was about to ensue, when lucky for him, before she had time to rip him a new a*****e another Alkidike woman approached the stall. She seemed bent on dispersing the tension, so why not?
She shot a glare at the ice earthling, oh the things she would say to him, and turned back to the Alkidike. "Some. These are mostly my father's, but I do a lot of the hunting and skinning." She crossed her arms and sat back down in her seat, studying the strange group she had attracted.

[Dyakida: At her stall] "Battling? Really." That was interesting, "Well, you use a staff, correct? I made a few for this stall, if you would like to test them out...?" Honestly, she had little experience with staffs, but she studied what earthling weapons she could just out of professional interest. Knowing how magic was conducted through wood and crystal was helpful for her craft, however. But really, all weapons were her hobby, she only wished she could make them more often.
Which was why she had actually been excited to set up this stall. It let her get out of the traditional alkidike weapons and try something new. And, of course, learn about how these weapons so often used against them worked.
She nodded towards Sathe. "Well, I hear that there is a stall selling miniature fish." she was skeptical, of course, "I assume you aren't battling?" she tried to lean down a bit, but wasn't sure if she was aiming the right way, "If so... would you, ah, mind helping me out with something?" She might as well ask the question to someone she sort of knew instead of a perfect stranger. "Since my sisters" and your sister "are fighting, and my sprite" wherever she's gone off to "cannot talk, would you be willing to tell me what is happening on the field?" Of course, the brat could decide not to help, in which case, well, she'd just have to find someone else to help her. [Ruelash: Wherever he is] What, seriously? He tries to something like a good deed and people growl at him? Well ******** that.
He glared at Liira, then back at Jerarda.
"Fine. ******** ya all." He said, stalking away, though he glanced back. He couldnt shake how much the danger in her tone had intrigued him. She had bandages up her arms, did that mean she was good with her hands? Could she tear him limb from limb? Would be pretty intense. He wanted to pick a fight, but that was the horn or whatever. He didn't feel like dealing with these obnoxious whiners anyway. He made a rude gesture as he left for the Arenas. Maybe he'd get to deal with them later. For now, he was going to go stab someone and that was fine.[Hijil: Somewhere] There seemed to be a commotion by some of the fur stalls and she contemplated getting involved. Contemplated. She would see what happened, and if peoole started getting hurt she would try and break it up. Otherwise, she'd stay safe and hidden.
