Axel had been out for a while. And Rio missed him. Well, he missed the naughty banter, the evil plotting, and cuddles. So yeah. He decided to go find his boyfriend. Riorden was surprised when he came across Axel's shirt on the ground. There were his pants, a shoe...his underwear... Riorden followed the path of cast off cloths until he found the fallen butterfly knife and a grave. Riorden glanced at the stone at the head, and gave a snort. "Pffft. Really?" He stated before kneeling and brushing the dirt off the grave. "Axel? You in here?"

Axel was indeed in there, and had been sort of passed out from the lack of air, but he was coming around again and woke up a bit faster as he realized the earth was moving. "DUDE...." he rasps out, spitting out dirt. "This is like... the weirdest experience I've ever had..."

"Weirdest huh?" Rio asked as he reached down to try and haul Axel out of the grave enough to sit up. "I'll have to say, I never thought I'd be digging you out of your own grave before. You okay?"

"Yeah.. I didn't think that squirrel would have the nuts to do it, either!" He blinks a bit and gets a funny look on his face. "But man, dirt gets into places you didn't even know you had....."

"Squirrel? Do I need to go skin a furry?" Rio asked with amusement. He reached a hand out to brush some of the dirt out of Axel's hair. "Well I got the cure for that. We'll take a nice hot bath together and while I scrub your back you can tell me how you ended up under that." He pointed to the stone at the head of the grave. "You must have really ticked him off."

"Nah, I kinda like him! We had a really good first fight, and I wanted to fight him again so I stole his rake! Well, and some other stuff, but the rake pissed him off the most! I told him it was back at camp, so we might see him try to sneak in and get it, hah!" He turns to look at the rock, and just starts snickering. "Oh, is that all he could think of? Well, the burying me alive thing beats that out anyway.. such a good prank!" He was giddy, yeah, that had to be why he was so hyper...blood loss.. lack of air.. yeah he needed to go relax.

Riorden shook his head with amusement at his boyfriend. Crazy Axel. If there was anyone to replace his prior interest, this was the only guy for it. Riorden gently pulled on Axel to get him to his feet. "I have to say it's unusual. Usually they just leave us laying on the ground." He agreed. "We'll keep a eye out for him. I'd like to play with this guy too if I get a chance. Now, hold onto me and I'll get us back to camp."

"Nothing more fun than a mad squirrel chittering at you...especially with all the nut jokes you can make..." He giggles a bit and grabs up his knife and clothes (not bothering to dress, though), and looks at the rock. "If that stone wasn't so heavy I'd take it back as a souvenir..." He snickers and lets Rio lead him back to camp, holding onto him all right. wink
