 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ≻ Matthew looked up towards the door when he heard someone else enter the class. He smirked at the student, who also happened to be late. "Ah, Takuya Hatake. I see you are late as well. It's fine though, come in and take a seat," He gestured his hand at him. "Okay, students, we will begin by introducing ourselves. You will stand up, say your name, and a little fact about you," He smiled. "Raiden, why don't you start?" He called out to the boy. Matthew sat on the corner of his desk and crossed his arms over his chest. "After Raiden will be Nixon, and then Kuro, and lastly, Takuya," He smiled at his students. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Raiden ♡ Yamamoto  ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ Raiden turned his head towards the door and saw Kuro walk into the room. He looked at Matthew, not really surprised that the man didn't give her detention. Mr. Matthew was laid-back and casual about everything. He glanced at Kuro; he could hear the relief in Kuro's voice. His head turned back towards the door when someone else walked in as well. It was that boy, Takuya, from his homeroom. He turned to look at Matthew as he let yet another tardiness go. Raiden blinked as he stared at the front of the room. He wondered what they were going to do, and why these desks were all paired up like this. A sudden thought came to mind: Partners. The blonde wasn't too excited about working with a partner. He disliked working with other students, and the only time he does is when he really has to. Raiden snapped his attention back to the front and listened as Mr. Matthew spoke. Ugh, introductions... He thought introductions of one's self to the entire class was pointless. He sighed quietly as he eyes began to slowly drift back looking outside the window beside him. His eyes then shot back to look at the teacher when he called out his name. He wanted to groan aloud. Whatever. Might as well get this thing over with, he thought as he stood up from his desk, his eyes facing forward. "I'm Raiden Yamamoto and I am a student at this Academy," He said tersely, in his usual monotone. He immediately sat down after he was finished and placed his elbow on the desk, propping his cheek on his palm. The fact he had just voiced probably wasn't something that Matthew had intended. Nixon Jackerjack ≼=========== ☠ ============≽ Still scribbling in his book he was in his own world. It was the only true hobby he loved to do was Rune lore and Sigil art. He remembered Highbern taught him the basics in the Necromancer temple he grew up in. It was a dark and quiet place that seemed simple to outsiders and very humble. Practice of the magic was done in privacy as to not disturb the surrounding areas. Nixon also remembered the day he left to join the school, it was sad but Nixon knew now it was the right choice.
After Raiden finished his introduction, Nixon followed and stood up. He glanced around at everyone who seemed to be staring at him, Nixon cleared his throat and spoke up so they could hear him. "I am Nixon Jackerjack and I am a class B necromancer," he said. He knew he would at least be strong enough to become a class A after graduating from the Academy, but so much was to be expected of him if he was to become one. He stood there for another second and sat back down. That Raiden kid kept glancing at him which made Nixon feel uneasy. "I wonder what he thinks about me?" he thought to himself. ≼============ ☠ ============≽

Kuro smiled at the teacher. She liked him already. Upon hearing that they will be introducing themselves to the class, Kuro began to wonder what she was going to say. A fact about me... She thought. She frowned to herself. She couldn't think of anything! But she was brought out of her thoughts as she heard a rustle of someone standing up. She turned to see that it was Raiden, going first. She couldn't help but let her lips curve upwards in a small smile as she listened to him. She wanted to giggle at his intro, but didn't. She thought it was kind of amusing. Obviously, the teacher meant an interesting fact, a fact that not everyone knew, but instead, Raiden chose to say the obvious. She glanced at his face, and noticed that it was the same as ever. Totally expressionless. Kuro then turned her head to look at Nixon as he stood up. She listened to his intro, the small smile remaining on her face until the boy was finished. She frowned at herself again. A Class B necromancer must be pretty strong... She thought to herself. She assumed that as you go up the alphabet, it means you're getting better. He's nearly to Class A... Her frown deepened. She must not be as strong as him. And if everyone else was up to par with Nixon, then that means Kuro must be really weak. It means I have to train more... No more fooling around... She thought to her with determination. "Oh!" She muttered when she realized that it was her turn. She stood up from her desk. "My name is Kuro Yuki and I can summon a scythe from the Demon Realm," She grinned herself, then sat back down in her seat, crossing her legs over one another.

Takuya listened to the other three students as they stood up and introduced themselves. He found Kuro's and Nixon's interesting, and Raiden's well... certainly obvious. He smiled and then stood up when it was his turn."I'm Takuya Hatake and I'm an angel... In the literal sense...I have wings and everything!" He beamed and then sat down.

He listened to Nixon's, Kuro's, and Takuya's introduction, nodding after each one was finished. After all the students were finished, he applauded slowly. "Good job guys. That was an easy first assignment, right?" He grinned. He went back to his desk and sat down and looked at his students. "Now, you may or may not be wondering why the desks are paired up like this. Well... each one of you is going to have a partner. So you'll all be paired up with one another and this will be your partner for the rest of the year... or semester... I haven't decided yet," He smiled, then shrugged. He looked at them. "Any questions before I begin calling out pairs?" He asked. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Kuro turned to look at Takuya as he was last to give out his intro. She looked at him in surprise when he said that he was an angel. With wings and everything...? That was definitely interesting. She had no idea he was an angel. From just looking at him, the boy seemed like an ordinary student. This made Kuro smile. Well, everyone at this school looks like an ordinary person... but they're not... they all have some ability or power that makes them different from the rest. And that's what she liked about it. That you may never know if the person you're standing to next in line at the grocery store is an angel, or a high class mage or something.
Kuro turned and looked at the teacher as he applauded and sat in his desk. She blinked and then glanced around the room at the mention of the desks. She was wondering why the desks were set up like this...
When Mr. Matthew said that they all will be put into pairs, Kuro's eyebrows rose in surprise. She wondered who her partner could be... There were only three other people in the class with her at that moment...
At Mr. Matthew's question, she shook her head no, prompting him to proceed with the calling of the pairs.

Takuya looked at Mr. Pierce as he explained about the paired desks and partners. He looked around the classroom at his peers. He wondered who his partner would be. At Mr. Pierce's question, he shook his head no as well, wanting the teacher to go on and call out the pairs. He was beginning to get anxious.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ≻ Matthew looked at the students. He pushed up his glasses and nodded, continuing on. "Ok then, if there are no questions, I will commence," He said. He picked up a peice of paper. "Kuro.... and... Raiden," He looked at the two students, "You two are partners." He the glanced at Takuya and Nixon. "And Nixon and Takuya, you two are partners." He placed the paper down. "Everytime you enter class, you will sit down next to your partner." He pushed up his glasses and leaned back. "I do suggest that you get to know your partner. You will be spending a lot of time together." He smiled. "Your first assignment as pairs is to do one mission together. After you have completed your mission, you will turn in a copy of the mission report to me." He picked up his bottle of water that was sitting on his desk and took a drink. "Ok, if there are no further questions, class is dismissed." He then looked down at his desk and continued reading a student profile. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Nixon Jackerjack ≼=========== ☠ ============≽ Listening to Mr Pierce as he called out the names of the pairs he cringed at the thought of working with someone new. He would have to tell them about his powers and how good he actually was at rune circles in general. Pondering on these facts he heard his name being called out and the angels name." Funny that the heavenly mage and the dark mage are put together," he said quietly to himself.
He put his note book away and tucked his pen in his pocket. He got out from his chair and walked over to Takuya's desk. He looked at the boy, he seemed normal and did not seem cocky or full of himself. "It seems we will be working together from now on. I do hope we can be good friends." he said as he held out his hand. ≼============ ☠ ============≽

Kuro gazed at Mr. Pierce, her eagerness growing as she waited for him to call out the names. When he said her name, her heart thudded against her chest. Who would it be?
She secretly hoped it would be Nixon, since Suo was friends with him and she thought it would be great for her to be friends with one of Suo's friends. That way, they could all get to know each and increase their circle of friends. Or Takuya; he seemed nice. The boy was in her homeroom. She wasn't too sure about Raiden. It would be nice to get to know him, but he didn't seem very friendly.
When Mr. Pierce said Raiden's name after he said hers, Kuro whipped her head to look at the blonde boy. She was ambivalent, but it didn't matter what she felt, the two were partners now. She got out of her desk and walked over to Raiden, glancing at Nixon and Takuya on the way there. She stood by his desk, her fingertips placed on the edge of one of the desk. "So I guess we're partners now...?" She smiled, looking at him.

Raiden ♡ Yamamoto ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ Raiden didn't listen to the other students as they gave out their introductions. He already knew some of that stuff, and if he didn't, he would read about it on their student profiles. He turned his head towards Matthew when the introductions were over. He sighed softly when he announced that they were being paired up. As expected... He thought. He didn't like working with others, they always held him back from doing things.
He didn't particularly care who his partner was going to be. Whoever he's being paired up with, it was still going to suck. When Matthew called out his name and Kuro's, he turned to look at the dark-haired girl and met her eyes. He had seen some of the things that she could do already, and from the looks of it, she was okay at fighting. He eyed her as she stood up and approached his desk. He shrugged at her question. "Obviously so. Matthew just said we were," He quipped, looking at her. He glanced at Nixon and Takuya. Kuro and him were complete opposites. She was cheery and happy, while Raiden... well, wasn't. Nixon was a necromancer, while Takuya was an angel of God. He realized what the teacher was trying to do. He looked back at Kuro. Raiden wanted to get this mission assignment out of the way already, but he knew that Kuro wasn't on the A mission list. Last time he checked, her name wasn't on it. "There's this B mission that we can do. It's easy, we just have to deliver some papers to a city," He said, his voice holding no emotion whatsoever. He didn't want to do the C or B missions; they were boring, but it seemed like he had no choice if he wanted to pass this class.╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ ◄◄ xxxxx ▐▐ xxxxx ►►

Takuya listened to Mr. Matthew as he called out the pairs. When he called out his and Nixon's name, he looked at the boy. He watched as he walked over to him and smiled. "I hope so too! I think it'll be a lot of fun working with you!" He said with a cheery smile. Takuya took Nixon's hand and shook it. He pulled away and glanced at Raiden and Kuro, overhearing Raiden talk about the mission. "So when do you want to do this mission assignment? I'm free whenever."

Kuro's smiled turned upside down upon hearing Raiden's sarcastic reply. She glared at him for a moment. That was rude... She thought to herself. She stopped her glaring when he looked back at her. She nodded her head him as she made circles with her index finger on top of the desk's surface. "Yeah, okay," She agreed. She hadn't done many missions yet. The C mission she will be doing that day after school would be the first. "If I do two more C missions, and two more B missions, then I'll finally be on the A mission list!" She beamed excitedly. She looked up at Raiden as she stopped making pointless circles on the desk. "So... when are we going to do this mission? I think this weekend would be fine..." She said, keeping her eyes on the boy as she spoke.

He typed in the passcode and unlocked it. He glanced up at Kuro. "I'll give you my number so we can figure it out later," He said. "What's yours?" He asked tersely.
