Esha looked up as Cyrus greeted her as though nothing had happened and little time had passed. "Yes, we fled the city when it fell." She looked to Elora who seemed lifeless. Not something she was used to at all. "Nisha searched the brothel but it was destroyed."
If Elora could have spoken she would have given a snort of laughter. She bet Nisha didn't bother even glancing beyond the doorway.

Confusion slipped across the djinn's face as he attempted to put the missing pieces of time from his memory into place. "It wasn't leveled," he settled on and looked down at Elora. "She was in the middle of the floor when I found her. Tell her Ellie. You were right there for everyone to see."

Esha looked to the beautiful mechanical woman and half expected her to speak. When she didn't the cat like woman smiled warmly at the djinn. "Why don't you both come with me. We have rooms here and we have found Lord Isambard."

Cyrus looked up sharply and clutched Elora tightly against his chest. "You have found Lord Isambard? After all this time, you have truly found him?" he asked with awe. "How long has he been here? I have been searching for him everywhere," he asked and waited expectantly for her to show them the way.

Esha gestured for them to follow her towards the Pantheon. "Well we have sort of found him." She replied as they walked. "The gods were turned into stones, gems, they have to be put into a mortal to be reborn. So we found the young man that bares his stone. Nisha and I."

Cyrus followed after her and tried to process that a moment. "So you have not found Lord Isambard? You have found the mortal he will be born into?" he questioned with an arched brow. "How do you know that it is him? Was there a sign?"

Esha smiled. "It is Lord Isambard, it's like ... he's inside the mortal. You can talk to him. He gets stronger every day, I think soon he will be reborn." She led them across the gardens and up the stairs, along the corridor to Isambard's door. "Maybe he can help Elora."

Cyrus was mostly unaware of his surroundings as he walked and listened. After all this time, he would finally be in the presence of his lord once more. Looking down at Elora, he smiled. "If anyone can help her, it is our Lord." He was the cleverest being he knew. "I cannot believe that I am finally going to be able to speak with him again. It has been so long," he said quietly.

Esha smiled and nodded. She was sure he would be able to do something, very sure. She pushed the door open and held it for Cyrus. "My lord, are you home?" She called.
Inside the door they were stood in a wooden panneled hallway, in front of them were sweeping wroght iron stairs and to their left a ticking grandfather clock.
"In the drawing room." Ifan called, he was sat at Isambard's desk with some plans in front of him.
Esha led Cyrus through to the mahogany panneled room, the windows had sweeping velvet drapes.

Cyrus stepped into the hallway at Esha's invitation. His eyes were drawn to the grandfather clock for a long moment and he almost missed when Esha started to walk further into the residence.
"You're going to be working in no time Ellie," he murmured softly to her before stepping into the large office. The sight he saw behind the desk threw him slightly. It was nothing but a boy. Frowning as he started to sense that something was amiss, he began to radiate heat. Regardless of the fact that he knew Esha to be friendly, he was on high alert to keep Elora safe. "What sorcery is this?" he demanded as he turned his sparking glare down to the felin.

Esha hadn't expected the djinn's reaction, she shrank back from him a little, he knew fully what he was capable of and that scared her.
Isambard looked up from the plans and raised an eyebrow as he saw two companions he thought he had lost. "Cyrus." he said with his own voice, one that would be very familiar. "Calm down, it is me. I am Isambard." He held Ifan's had up to reveal the stone.

Cyrus looked up at the commanding voice he knew well. Eying the boy suspiciously for a moment, his eyes drifted to the stone embedded in the hand. Esha had said that the gods were trapped in stones. Relaxing slightly, he glanced to the felin and noticed her fear. Breathing in deeply, he began to calm and return to normal. It had to be him. He couldn't stand searching any longer, not when he had the promise of his presence dangled before him. "I searched everywhere for you my lord," he said softly and dipped down into a deep bow.

Isambard stood and watched the djinn, his eyes going from him to the woman in his arms. Elora, the shining light of Albion. "Put her in the chair." He said, pointing to it. "I have her key. I found it after I arrived here." He opened the drawer and rummaged a moment. "I am not sure whether it will work or not."

Cyrus straightened and turned to look at the chair that was indicated. The mention of her key caused his heart to skip a beat. All this time the key had been safe and sound here. He was beginning to feel a fool. He had wasted so much time.
"It has to. It's the only thing that can work," he declared softly as he looked down at Elora's beautiful face. Breathing in deeply, he moved to gently set her down in the chair. Taking a moment to situate her so she was comfortable, he smiled and turned back to his lord. "Where is the key my lord? May I do the honors?"

Elora listenened to them. Really? All this time they had been looking and travelling and it was here, in this place. It seemed all too convenient perhaps. If it was here, where had they found it?
She did not want to get her hopes up. Instead she watched through her frozen eyes as the boy that claimed to be Isambard handed the jeweled key over to Cyrus.
