I do wish I could have known you longer smile dont worry sweet i'm not going anywhere, i'll still be here, just not supplying prizes anymore I do have a question. How much gold would you guesstimate that providing prizes for the guild costs you? well if i think about it i only top up charity prizes when we are running low- and those i normally put in 10 items worth between 60 -100k and 5 items 100+ for the monthly stuff i normally give out two letters- bout 200k each depending on the month and the monthly donations are 250k a month, so we are talking 1 mill roughly a month including if any new shop items were to come out and i were to open the gold shop charity etc i could probably get the gold but i would end up hating the grind and grudge coming onto gaia XD so i'm not gonna set myself up for that. I was just trying to figure out if we could save it via donations ninja

_winterdawnn When i saw that announcement the other day i was frowning and wondering how much a person has to spend just get into it and how much more they have to spend out of their pockets just to get the rewards. gonk
You will still be a member of this guild right? Cuz, i dunno if it will ever be the same without you sad

i wil always be a member of this guild, and if people dont want me to step down as captain then i wont, i just feel that i cant fulfill the role at this point in time

It makes me sad you want to give up Captain though sad i guess i just feel like i cant fill the role if i cant provide anything for our members crying I`m sure that doesn`t count so much. It's fun getting prizes, but it's even more fun having you for our amazing captain. A note about the "rewards" thing. I saw it, but there is no way I'm spending that kind of real money on pixels, so I just ignored it. For the few people (I guess there must be some) who are willing to give Gaia that much money, thank you very much for supporting a site I enjoy. But I don't intend to give any more money than ever, and I won't be shopping much if at all in the "special" shop because as you say, the prices are outrageous to me. This is not me speaking as a moderator, just as a person who enjoys this site and the people on it and even many of the pixels. I understand your being upset, but don't leave as our captain. We love you for YOU, not your prizes! awe thankyou so much <3 and i'm glad you feel the same way as i do, i'm stopping my support because i just feel the site is getting worse and the less support they have maybe they will change, who knows XD

PurpleLovr I was just trying to figure out if we could save it via donations ninja it is a good idea, but i couldn't ask that of the guild, wont really be gaining anything out of it.

I understand how you feel Vexy. Over the 6 years I've been on gaia, it's been getting more and more cash oriented. I mean, I understand that it is a business and it is real cash that feeds the people, but I have felt they had gone too far when I saw the "Black Friday" sales introduction prices for 'rare' items. After the zomg fiasco, I stopped whatever little gc purchasing I've done. I still 'watch' some video for gc, but not as much as I used to.

Blackgry I understand how you feel Vexy. Over the 6 years I've been on gaia, it's been getting more and more cash oriented. I mean, I understand that it is a business and it is real cash that feeds the people, but I have felt they had gone too far when I saw the "Black Friday" sales introduction prices for 'rare' items. I still 'watch' some video for gc, but not as much as I used to. you can still get into the club simply by watching videos as well; which i think it kool, however i dont feel that they should ask for that much money it's just money hungry. And for being 'rewards' they should be souly for the person that bought it and not able to sell it on the market place; same with any high cost item; if would stop messing with the market then

Vexous loads of people have already bought the items and are waiting till next month (since you wont be able to get them anymore) it's crazy- and some of the items are already on the market! why!!! why would you spend that much on pixels XD Oh....well, I've never really been on that side of the fence, so I really don't know either! I remember thinking the same thing when animal was complaining the Ask the Admin about spending thousands of real cash on alchemy and not being able to making some type of wings. Good thing I'm too poor/busy to ever fall for that temptation. The July item on the mp reminds me of this item .

Vexy, you are much too important, not only to the guild but to myself as well. Everyone here loves you and the guild would greatly suffer without your loving leadership. As someone stated earlier, it's not about the prizes. Prizes are nice, but in the end they are just a mass of pixels. What matters is the friendships that are made here. Friendships that were formed because you loved the Gaia community enough to make a warm inviting place that they could congregate. From the first day i arrived here, i've been treated like family. I absolutely love this guild. You have been a great friend to me as well as everyone else here. I hate that Gaia has made you unhappy, but i'm glad that you will not be leaving us. I know that people like you are what make me keep coming back not only to the guild, but to Gaia. I just wanted to let you know how i felt and hope that somehow my words make you smile. We all love you Vexy. heart
