Sairento turned to Hakora as he spoke up. He wanted to test the Katena's words with battle. After that, Eve spoke her oppinion. She wanted him to let the Katena speak, they could be on better footing with more information. Sairento thought about these options for a moment. It seamed too soon to resort to violence, if the man was willing to give information, why force him? Information could be found without the need of violence.
"I will hear this man out Captain Shinari. He comes seeking an audience, and I will hear him out".
The Captain-Commander crossed his arms as he listened to the Katena in front of him speak. He spoke about never wanting to fight against them, but was outvoted by the other Katena. He spoke about the brief battle he had had with Akane and how he did nothing but defend himself from her assault. Sairento himself was present at the end of that bout, they left some damage to Division 1 in their wake. As the Monkey Katena finished speaking, Sairento thought about his choices carefully.
"If what you say is true, then you have nowhere to go. You are unwanted by the Katena and distrusted by us. You promise to trade information for protection. While this sounds like a good deal at first, the question of loyalty still springs to mind. You openly admit that you aided your brothers and sisters in rescuing one of our prisoners. This Kiyoshi, your brother, was freed from Squad 2's custody with your help. It would be unwise to dismiss this fact. How can we be certain that when the time comes that your siblings and we Shinigami face each other, that your allegiance will not switch back to your family? Are the thousands of years of allegiance between the Katena shattered so easily?" Sairento asked.
It was a grand opportunity to take the information this man offered to strengthen their position against the Katena. However, it was not without risk. Sairento, as Captain-Commander would not take such a risk without knowing where this mans allegiance truly was.
Xamthos, as the Captain-Commander pointed out that Xamthos could not be trusted and why, felt an odd connection to the man.
"You're truly worthy of your title, Captain-Commander. You're a testament to what we had hoped for with your kind," he began. In truth, he seemed a man after Xamthos's own heart. But this was not the time for flattery, no matter how honest the sentiment was. "But I should answer your questions. Firstly, how can you be sure I won't just change sides again? Well, consider that after I finish informing you, you'll be more than capable of killing me if I do. I know what I'm risking by giving away all my secrets. On that same note, you could always keep me away from that hypothetical encounter, since our ability to use our portals will be explained to you, thus allowing you to try and find ways to counteract its effectiveness. So in short, how do you know? Aside from my word, you have the fact that if I try it, you would be more than capable of finishing the job your ancestors could not." He was right. There were no words he could use to gain their trust, and so he merely reminded them of just how utterly futile such an attempt would be for him, considering that he was going to be personally arming them with the knowledge of how to sweep him and his kind aside like so many dry leaves before the storm.
"As to the matter of bonds, the short answer is no. We've been closer than blood since before your race was even an idea, and that kind of bond will never be broken no matter what. However, I cannot tolerate senseless violence. The only thing I hate more is a refusal to listen to reason. And those two things are exactly what all of the other Katena are guilty of. No, Captain-Commander, a bond like that can n ever be broken entirely. I merely choose not to acknowledge it anymore."
With each word, the pain was evident. These were more than his kind, they were his family and more. And they had not only jeopardized the single most important goal they'd ever shared, but they'd thrown him out with the hopes that these very Shinigami would have killed him by now. And all because he had refused to be part to mindless bloodshed that would have gotten them all killed or worse.

"Bakudo 19. Kōsei Kubun." She whispered under her breath." She throws her arm upwards. As she does this, a hexagonal shape comes out of the ground, blocking the other other Kido spell. Akane realized he didn't want the coat back. She then dropped it on the ground, listening to the words of the captain commander. She was against the idea of allowing a Katena to join there side, but she knew that speaking out right now would be a stupid idea. She folded her arms, and stared the Katena down, examining every single inch of him. She knew the perfect place for him to go. He should be in custody of squad 2 until all the information of him was drained and then he should be killed. She was giving off an ominous aura, not realizing what she was doing. She started shaking and then turned her head and closed her eyes, showing that she was obviously annoyed by this situation.

Hakora breathed in and then let out the air in a steady flow. He moved his arm and sheathed his sword with precision. Hakora was sick and death was on the horizon, but knew exactly what he was doing. He was a martial arts master, but his skill with the sword was impressive. Unlike the Captain of Squad 11, his style was made for elegance and precision. His fighting was built around harmony of the mind and body, thus his calmness in battle was often seen as cold and uncaring. His plan was to fight the Zodiac and push the Zodiac to his limit and then real sutdle, but apparent openings that if the Zodiac wanted he could take them and kill Hakora. Of course the Zodiac would not be foolish, but in battle you can read your opponent and know if they were resisting the desire to kill. He listened to the Zodiac speak and then his Commander, but his attention was drawn to the raven haired Captain. He could feel turmoil within her and hatred as if she was declaring it outloud, but this was due to his growth in battle and high experience with death that he knew what people felt. He smiled warmly to her to try and calm her. "Calm yourself and do not let this trouble you." He then looked back to the person of topic and walked near him, he could not feel murder coming from, but he did feel turmoil and knew it must be family related. "Do not take us for murders and thieves, much has changed since your time. If you are sincere and the Commander accepts then join us and I will teach you to fight, but to fight for peace and to protect. Your family wants us dead, but that does not mean their deaths is the only option. We are more alike then you understand."Just for kicks and giggles Hakora shapeshifted and became a normal sized red fox in front of the Zodiac. Unlike the Zodiac he had no powers and could not talk in this form, but nevertheless it was a sign that they were not much different and that war might be avoided if oth sides chose to work together. Hakora as a fox then looked in the direction of food and then darted at Eve and lept up in the air and snatched the cherry off her ice cream and darted away to eat it. He had been wanting that for a while. After the cherry was finished the little fox coughed a bit as the sickness even as a fox effected him.

As Hakora talked, she looked up into his eyes. Her odd yellow eyes where intense. She then closed her eyes and calmed her aura. When she opened her eyes, she was still looking at Hakora. "Of course." She said with a chilling voice. She then uncrossed her arms and let them hang by her sides. She was wearing what she normally wore, long sleeved kimono that went down to right above her knee caps. Her captains coat was on her but it over sized, so it hug. She brushed all of her hair to the back of her head and put it into a pony tail. "I true the captain commanders judgment, even if it means letting an enemy join us." She stated as she watched Hakora turn into a fox. This made her smile. She loved animals, and she especially loved foxes. She then noticed that the Hakora, or the fox, coughed. She stopped smiling and became worried.

Eve continued eating on her banana split, yes it seemed as if she was simply at a theater and she was the audience. She listened to what was said secretly glad the Captain-Commander had to a degree agreed with her opinion. She felt that Xamthos had received a very poor plate in life but in her mind formed the opinion that his loyalties lay with his own conscience. Can any being be faulted for doing what they believed was right? Her thoughts where distracted though by the hostilities put off by Akane, where that came from Eve really didn't want to know. Hakora seemed to be at least in some good spirit in accepting the situation as he made the comment to Akane calming the girl. She smiled as Hakora transformed into a fox unsuspecting of the thieving about to commence. She was mid bite when Hakora as his fox form ran up to her and jumped, it surprised her needless to say but the she realized, Food what animal doesn't seek it. She couldn't help but laugh as her cherry was stolen, she found it cute. "Now I told you if you where a good boy you'd get taken out for ice cream later." She then moved her face into an mock huff look. "That was my cherry." If it weren't for at that moment overly thick Irish accent, as it often became when she was teasing or about to lose her tempter, one would hear the laugh still fighting it's way to the surface. Though her laugh quickly faded with the cough from Hakora, she moved over to him and knelt down in hopes of seeing if there was something she could not do to ease his current state until they could get him to squad four, and here came the bit of the motherly side she kept hidden inside.

Voldo stood listening. He watched all of them discuss the subject at hand. However Captain Hakora was stubborn with his assumption he wasnt causing more damage by not resting. He was happy to not be squad 4, because he would have sedated the fellow Captain if he was obligated to keep him safe. This whole situation was rather aggrivating for Voldo. On one hand he had the Katena whom caused disturbance in the first place. ON the Other His own Fellow Shinigami who seemed to be more reckless and judgmental than he cares to have.
He looked at the two Captains fluttering over Hakora and sighed. "i tried to find out the damage but as you know hes stubborn. Looks like there was permanent damage and he refuses to let me treat him. I doubt there is much you two can do either....Pray that his organs don't fail." He looked at them and the tiny animal with concern but it immediately faded to a blank emotionless expression. He was regarded as a psycho[path by other captains because of his powers. If he had control over whom it effected they would be less judgmental however because it doesn't discriminate between friend or foe, somehow that makes Voldo the bad guy.

Hakora in his foxy little form began licking his paw and was taken back by the sudden attention. He knew that his little form was cute to most women, but he didn't expect a little cough to get so much attention. He eyed the Squad 12 Captain, he was never a fan of the guy. He was so caught up with his own agenda, that he ignored the situation at hand for something not that important. He merely growled in response to the Captain's words and humored the idea of running up to bite his leg. He was no medic, but he knew pain and when too much was too much. He could feel where the pain was and knew for the most part that his organs were fine. He wasn't exposed long to the bankais and once he was exposed it was merely a second or two so the sickness couldn't get much of a hold so he wasn't that worried about it. Hakora jumped up the grey haired Captain and sat on her shoulder. He was unable to change back to human for a while due to the ability, but in honesty he didn't want to change back, he sometimes felt more comfortable in this form then his human form. Though this was the first time he had changed forms in front of others.

Sairento said nothing as the Katena complemented him. It was unneeded, The Captain-Commander had long since grown past the need to be praised or accepted by others. He did as he needed, how others saw him was of little importance in his mind.
The Captain-Commander's eyes switched momentarily to the commotion that his captains were making, more precisely Akane. Sairento felt her release of energy due to her anger. As long as she restrained herself, Sairento would not address this outburst. He also noticed Hakora coughing as a result of exposure to Voldo's release. Hakroa was stubborn, he should have had Voldo look him over before coming here. A wounded Captain was not a good sight to see.
Taking in a breath, Sairento turned to Xamthos. "I have made my decision about you. I will accept your offer. Information in exchange for protection. You will be kept an eye on by Squad 2 under the leadership of Captain Shinari. He will be your keeper, jailer, and executioner if you try anything that forces us to turn our swords against you. As for the information you give, report that to Captain Hiabara". Sairento said a he pointed to Voldo.
"If all of these conditions are met, you will come to no harm under our protection. Although I remind you again, my generosity for you hangs by a thread. If you truly seek peace with us, then show us you are different than the other Katena"." he said as he turned and Shunpod away.
Xamthos paid little attention to the others, although in the back of his mimd he was secretly enjoying the obvious seething hatred that was practically oozing out of the 6th Captain. As the Captain-Commander made his verdict, Xamthos felt two things that didn't quite add up. On the one hand, he was glad and grateful that he had been so well received. He honestly hadn't expected it to go this well. But at the same time, Xamthos felt a small twinge of guilt at selling out his own kind. No matter how badly he had been slighted, it was as he said. The bond was still there and always would be. But this is how it had to be.
"As you wish, Captain-Commander, " Xamthos said with a small bow. "I am ready to depart with Captain Hiabara whenever he is, but I would appreciate it greatly if I had your name...and of course everyone else's as well." The last part he said as he allowed his magenta eyes to quickly sweep over the faces of everyone who had come. He only thus far knew the names of just a couple of the Captains. "Is there anything else that you'd like to know?"

Even though she did not like the decision, she respected it because it was the commander. She scratched her forehead and looked at Xamthos. "You don't need to know my name." She said with a calm voice. It was obvious that she still did not trust him at all. And she wasn't planning on trusting him anytime soon.

Eve couldn't help but smile when Hakora jumped onto her shoulders and she scratched under his chin mainly because his cuteness demanded such an act. She'd straighten up and continue eating her banana split, although she wouldn't be surprised if a few bites didn't make it to their intended destination. She glanced at Voldo briefly when he spoke and replied with "Well boys will be boys". In meaning she was pointing out that males even when hurt choose to keep going rather than get treated, sometimes she was a similar manner. She then faced the Katena upon hearing the decision of the Captain-Commander and glad to hear that some chance at a leg up was being taken. Eve kinda found the request for names a valid one after all it was only polite and the rudeness of the Squad 6 Captain rubbed her the wrong way. Such hatred was unbecoming and even though the Captain-Commander wasn't going to handle it Eve was going to in her own way have a talk with the child. She spoke in her Irish voice. "My name is Captain Eveleen Cody-Luighseach. Captain of Squad 9. You may call me either Captain Luighseach or Eve." She in truth didn't trust the Katena as far as she could throw him but each must take a step in cooperation. She would scratch on Hakora briefly before turning her attention to Akane, "Captain Banshou, may I have a word with you in my training field after we've been dismissed from here?" Eve would wait until the Captain-Commander gave the order to disperse and return to other duties.

She knew that she was being rude and that it would get her in trouble. As Eve spoke to her, Akanes eyes shifted from Xamthos to her. She was slightly annoyed by Eve but knew that showing it would be even more tiresome. So she rubbed her shoulder and put a smile on her face. "Of course Eveleen." She said as she stopped rubbing her back. She then returned her gaze apron Xamthos. "If you can prove to me that we can trust you, then and only then will I tell you my full name." She said without any emotion. She knew that she needs to hide her emotions better but she didn't realize it until now that she needed to control them this much.

The fox time was over as he was able to change back now. He lept off her shoulder and did a front flip and landed on two feet as he was human again and fully clothed. He spoke as if nothing had happened, with words that rang true in his heart. He directed them to everyone, but wanted Akanes to hear mostly. "Hatred is merely a poison one drinks and then wishes their enemy would die. We do not justice to ourselves by hating. We are men and women of justice and law. Law states that someone is innocent until proven guilty. I can speak for myself and say I was not alive during the last war so this Zodiac has committed no crimes against me and his punishment to the Heavens was enough. I will teach you Xamthos and show you a path that does not lead to blood, but do not forget who I am. If you cross us I will personally kill you a thousand times over. If that day comes we will deal with it, but starting today I will accept him under my care and if anyone has a problem with him then they have a problem with me. Now, if Sensai is finished, we are making a trip to Squad 4, I need a cough drop."Hakora reached into a pocket and pulled out what seemed to be some kind of cloth. He tossed it to the Zodiac. It was black and had an insignia on it that meant Division Two. It was the face mask his division wore and could also serve as a head, arm or leg band. It would keep him safe from execution in his Squad.
Xamthos almost smiled as Captain Luighseach discllsed the nzme of the 6th Captain, but almkst entirely ignored the obvious lack kf manners displayed by Captain Banshou herself. As Captain Shinari handed him the mask thing, he only then realized just how much he towered over almost everyone present. At 6'4", and built like a paragon of martial arts mastery, with arms and legs that were just a bit too long for the rest of his body, he felt suddenly a little bit of place among so many "normal" looking people. But he quickly got over it as he tied the black cloth around his neck like a cowboy's bandana, with just enough give that he could pull it up to tightly cover his mouth and nose. Just like a legit bandana.
"Thank you," he said. He had no idea what it was really for, but he had a pretty good idea that he should wear it. And then he looked back to the Captain-Commander. "So, with whom shall I go first? With Captain Hiabara so I can get started right away, or with Captain Shinari?"
