Zoza nodded dumbly, looking utterly confused as she looked out all around them. There was still so much going on- most distracting was the laughter coming from the loud, cheerful god-- she had never really seen a god before. Trying to force herself to look away she only ended up with her eyes on Nquma.
She stared for a good moment before she seemed to come back to her senses- and then she started looking around frantically, as if she had only just realized their were actually lives at stake in this.
"The caves," she said, "Everybody headed for the caves- wouldn't it make sense to start there? Perhaps someone didn't quite make it. Maybe.."
Where else were there rocks? Taking a blind chance, she picked a random direction and went looking, her attention obviously focused on the rockier areas. She didn't really know what she was doing, how could she expect anybody to listen if she didn't prove it herself. How could she keep talking based on what, so far, could prove just to be a series of lucky hunches that made her believe she was capable of anything special.

 Giza had been close enough to see the landslide of snow tumbling down the mountain, and thankfully far enough away not to be caught in it. He had not been paying attention to the mountainside at all, but watching the clouds passing; it was only the sound of the snow cascading that alerted him to it. The leopard knew there was a lion pride on that mountain, but he had never interacted with them before. He sniffed the air, thankful that the snow carried the bulk of the pride's scent with it. It took him a while to track it all the way up the slope, but as it grew stronger, he knew he would reach them eventually. He hoped they would be friendly; at times like this no one could turn down help. Worst case was they would turn him away. Upon finally reaching the cave, he was shocked. There was a God here helping. It may not be his God, but it was a God none the less. They really must need help if Gods were showing up. Giza quickly skimmed the crowd, looking for anyone who was not panicked and had some sense of what was going on. There was a gaggle congregating around one rather fluffy looking lion; that seemed as good a place to start as any. Giza padded up, moving with urgency but at the same time not running, “What can I do to help?”

Frite smiled shyly and tried to fight back a small blush from covering her face as Iiro embraced her in a hug. He was such a fluffy and sweet lion, and his fur made her all warm. But she was a little skittish about showing such affection in front of other lions. No matter how much she enjoyed it. Frite listened to the others explain their losses, and even heard the one explain about a good starting point. She nodded in agreement with the female, and turned to Iiro with a nudge to his side. "Iiro could take some of the cubs on his back! He's rather good at carrying weight around!
A-Aren't you Iiro?"

Korini was confounded as to how she'd ended up here. The snow had tossed her far from where she last remembered being. All things considered, it could have been worse -- maybe. Whether or not the peril of getting caught in an avalanche spelled her untimely death depended on if and when she was located. A large rock protruding from the ground blocked her view of the caves nearby and the search party around them.
Her muzzle and face peeked out from the snow. Try as she might to climb out, the blanket of white provided no leverage. Every time she shoved some snow away, more of it toppled down around her. She could hear voices, but couldn't pinpoint their location.

Noelani had followed the large white lion who had charged by her as she evacuated the area. Her exploration knowledge was nothing in comparison to that of a native's and she sprinted, watching as the snow barreled down towards her.
Once she had been safe inside, she found she had quite a bit of company. She also heard the unfortunate announcement. Missing. In an avalanche. The lioness winced. In such a huge upheaval, it was rare to find the missing...
Still, she had been offered shelter by these lions and the least she could do was help..And..
Did those lions have wings?
Noelani blinked. Were they...Gods? The lioness had never seen one before but she had heard my stories from travelers. She found herself fascinated. She had so many questions...
But now was not the time.
Biting her bottom lip, the lioness stepped forward towards the male lion who had guided her to safety.
"I live in the mountains in my own pride...Avalanches have happened there before. I'm a good tracker. I'll do everything I can to help...It's the least I can do," her mother had always taught her to be straightforward and honest about her abilities and she truly did have a keen nose. Even with layers of fresh snow.

Things were beginning to get a little more hectic than Urza had hopped, but Zozo had spoken up saying to head to the caves and he nodded. He started to head that way. "We'll start at the caves, and move as quickly as we can to the other side of the snow pile from the avalanche." He just hopped they would move fast enough. He didn't want this to turn out worse than it already was. Once everyone was found, then the clean up could happen. He didn't wait for anyone else to respond and started heading there, as they were already pretty close. "If you see anything, don't hesitate to shout out if you need help." He let his voice carry as far as it would. (OKAY! Time to roll. Match my number, or closest to it. I will quote you if you get it with stuff.)

Sebor listened to instructions and nodded slightly, setting off after the fuzzy lion. She wished she was a bit fuzzier right now...maybe it would keep her warmer. Rather than wish for things that would never happen, she began to walk a bit quicker to get herself warm. She moved from the back of the pack of lions to the front, her eyes and ears sharp, nose sniffing from time to time. While lions didn't have the nose like canines did, it certainly did help in the long run. The little breeze that was picking up definitely helped matters, too.
The climb up to the caves wasn't far, but the snow was deep, making the going slow. She didn't mind, though. That meant she could look closer at each lump of snow to make sure it wasn't a lion or hyena or anyone else that had gotten stuck. She pawed at the ground in a few places, wondering how deep some of them might have ended up. She hadn't been here to witness the avalanche, after all, just hear it, but gauging from the depth of the snow here and just a few feet away, she guessed it had been a lot of the white stuff that had come tumbling down the mountain.

Cari ran around and sniff the air. She dig up snow and put her ears on the ground. There had to be something she could do or find to help everyone. This was no good. No good at all. "Okay o-okay. I can do this. Let see what was the last time I saw Bari before this......Umm I don't know. Must k-keep looking. M-must keep looking!" She said with a twitch. She was getting super worry now and this was no good at all. --------------------------------------- Iiro look at Frite and laugh. "Hahaha! Are you calling me fat! HAhahah! I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding! Hahah!" he said. He heard what the white one said and nodded. Must find the lost. Yes yes, then everyone can laugh! He let out a giggle and said "Anyone want a ride from me to see if the see anything from the sky, I'm willing to do it! Hahah!" He push some of the snow around and walk towards the cave. He started to dig as fast as he could with a crazy laugh or joy and worry. This was fun but he didn't want to tell anyone cus that would make the mortals mad. All he could do right now was help!

Once she was moving, Zoza's focus seemed muddled at best. She was in the right general area, by her own word, but she got lost trying to cover as much ground as she could at once. A few circles and she paused, looking up over the crowd thoughtfully.

Giza nodded his head, direct and to the point as always, "Caves it is then." He quickly turned to pad up to the next tunnel, sniffing along the way. Was not the worst hunter in the world, but he did rely on his site quite a bit when doing so. If he looked out, all he could see was the blanket of sparkling white. Beautiful as it was, it did not really help the search. Giza closed his eyes, inhaling deeply. Sniffing was... different. Giza could suck in a breath, letting the crisp air tickle his nose just a bit, and would get the overwhelming smell of winter, a side effect of the heavy snow, and it smelled fresh and clean. But there were undercurrent. He was trying to filter out the unfamiliar scents of those around him with those that were not. It would of helped if he knew exactly who he was looking for, or at least whose scents were here. But he did not. So closing his eyes might not be the best plan of action. He was getting a stronger scent, but upon finally taking in his surroundings, it was just one of the lioness in the search party. "Excuse me," he said with all the nonchalant confidence in the world. But that did not change the fact that he learned is lesson: keep your eyes open while (attempting) tracking.

Khirya nods and flanks out from her position next to Lyrium, her now intent eyes are scanning for any hints like paw prints, skid marks or whatnot while she treads the snow very carefully. She knows that sniffing at the air won't help that much because the snow would pretty much cover up the scent unless you dig those spots up. Her main target is the ice princess Okelani because she's still so small and more likely will perish first because she doesn't have enough fluff/fur to protect her from the coldness yet.
"Okelani!" She calls out as she slowly moves toward the general direction of caves but knows that Okelani would try to run to dens that is peppering the general path that leads up to the caves so she silently motions to Lyrium to look on opposite side then mouthed the word "dens" then she proceeds into randomly digging into the snow because she doesn't remember the exact locations for each den.
~~~~
Lyrium knows that the king probably didn't hear her or Khirya because he didn't show any reaction to their comments about Okelani and few members missing so she simply went along with the flow like she usually do. She watches Khirya move over to them and they exchanged few words about their concerns before they decided to spread out to cover more ground. Mimicking Khirya's steps, she treads the snow carefully because there could be some weak spots that can suddenly swallow her up if she's not careful and her eyes scans the snowy environment ahead of her while the group makes up the path of the mountains. The female duo purposely lagged behind so they could check things out more thoroughly.
The female frowns a bit as the surrounding land seemed to look peaceful with the 'freshly fallen snow' but she knows there are many that are stuck in the avalanche, trying to get out and survive. Her eyes connected with Khirya when other female was motioning to opposite side and mouthed the word 'dens'. Blinking once, Lyrium stared at Khirya for a minute when another female started randomly digging then the lighbulb went on above her head, realizing that Okelani is still a young'un so she would automatically seek out the dens. She hurries over to opposite side of the general path and started looking for the 'dents' or something that would indicate the 'holes'
 When the avalanche went roaring down the mountains, Okelani panicked when other lions started scrambling around and running towards the caves and she didn't follow them because she felt like they are running into the danger so she tried to run toward the forest. Seeing a small mound relatively near the caves, Okelani suddenly sprinted over and started frantically digging into the mound because she couldn't see any dens or she is fast enough to get to the caves. Managing to get half of her body in, the snow slammed into her causing her to squeak with pain because the force of snow felt like being kicked by a zebra but with more force.
Okelani gritted her teeth as she stubbornly dragged her battered lower body into the shallow den she made, shivering violently while she curls up into a tight ball, crying softly because her spot is completely covered with snow except for the top of the mound peeking (but she doesn't know that). Tucking her head into her arms, she closes her eyes and just simply waited because she knows that her relatives along with the pride would move the heaven and hell to try to find her along with others that possibly went missing as well.
To the caves, then. Noelani nodded before treading her own path, her paws easily picking through the snow around her, stepping lightly to keep from sinking into something that might prove to be deeper than it appeared. The snow was beautiful, but on days like today, it was also tricky. It was impossible to tell just way was waiting beneath it's depths.
As she traveled towards the caves, she would pause, taking in a long, slow sniff of the air around her. Her nose was willed with unfamiliar scents, and she scowled, unable to pick up much of anything through the dense snow.
It smelled so clean but she knew better. The snow was hiding those less fortunate than she was.
 Frite shot a warning smile in Iiro's direction before beginning to dig into the snow herself. She wasn't going to be the best of help, having never been anywhere near snow before, but she wasn't going to sit around and do nothing. Imagine if no one had done anything when she had needed help?! Well, she probably wouldn't be here anymore. She simply wasn't going to give these missing lions that option. "If we don't get anywhere with the digging, i'll go up with you again. A higher vantage point might be just what we need." Frite paused a moment in both her words and her digging. 'And I promise not to close my eyes this time!" Jalouzi had taken note of the hare's frantic actions when she'd first arrived. She felt sorry for the poor thing, but hadn't approached her. Because just as she was about to, a very scarred and scary looking lioness had approached her. Instead, she had fallen back and been silent. Slowly following everyone to the caves. But now, the female was pre occupied with that strange god, and she could finally approach the hare. Placing a paw on her own paws, she tried to calm the other's frantic digging. "I know what its like to miss someone you care for. Why don't you tell me a little about your Bari ... maybe it will help us find her."
