She watched him jet ahead but then had come to a sliding stop herself when she saw him go falling into the watering hole. Tok'kal wouldn't have made the turn with out going in, it was good she saw him take the tumble first but...

The troll mare watched him a moment giving a snort and a slight jump forward to stand in front of him, though he could still escape between her legs. Her head lowered to look at his hoof.

"You will be fine, da gods looked kindly on ya." She said lifting her head, her barrel like chest heaving from the quick run.

Her ears flitted back as she felt him dash from beneath her. Her head looked over her shoulder.

"You gotta be kiddin'..." The mare turned around, feeling a small rage in her stomach as she leaped forward into a powerful gallop. Her feet thundering against the ground, turning up pieces of earth, neck arched, nostrils flaring.... her focus wasn't the finish line anymore, it was Badgey.

She did her best to close the gap between them, making no move to pass him, but she did want to try to step on his scarf to give him a short abrupt stop.

The end was coming, but she hardly noticed. She focused on the scarf, that stupid scarf. Her neck stretched and her head craned and she tried to snapped up the flapping end with her teeth, or capture it on her tusk. If successful, she'd come to a rather short stop to try and jerk him backwards.
