They both were happy fools now in the privacy away from people. He was this happy for he never thought that this would ever happen to him in his life. And when he is an old, bitter man, he will simply die alone which will be the end of his life forever. To have this amazing woman by his side, Eku felt that he was indeed the luckiest man in the world as he proclaimed to her. He is happy. He will forever be happy and wanted to make her happy for as long as he is with her.

And for that, he wanted to start making her happy right now. It was a random moment that came to mind right when he saw the threads on the floor. The reaction he saw on her face . . . it was beautiful. Her eyes and her lovely lips were wide open from the pure shock of what happened before her when he did made her a promise which he sealed it with the thread ring. Well, at first he was worried because she cried again. The mage wanted to ask her what did he do wrong, but as he was about to stand up to ask, he was tackled straight to the ground and the wind was knocked right out of him.

His hollowed eyes looked down to see her hugging him tightly with her head against his chest saying it was the most wonderful thing anyone has ever said to her. It made him laugh with utter joy as he wrapped his arms around her, keeping his darling close as he sat up with Esmeralda pulled up to his lap. "Well . . . I be de only one to say dat to you Esmeralda." Eku said with a smile as he caressed her cheek and wiped those happy tears away before he leaned in and kiss her once more. "I love ya Esmeralda . . . and I be never lettin' ya go." Just as he was about to lean in and kiss her again, he heard the sound of a growl of sorts next to them. He looked over to his side and saw Vilzun, watching there, and looking highly unamused too.

Eku gave a nervous laugh as he saw his bonded and grinned at him. "H-Hey dere. How ya be?" Vilzun gave him a glare for he has been sitting at the entrance of the alley for all this time and he was pissed off. He knew that they had spend far too much time here together and looked over at Emeralda, giving a kiss to her cheek. "Let's be goin' some place else Esmy. Maybe a bite to eat?" It was a nice day after all, and he wanted to spend some time with her even though they have the rest of their life now to know more of each other.
