 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
Laxion had only hoped that the brunette would be okay, and when the outraged fan decided to shout out his comments Laxion coudln't help but look over his shoulder and shout back "Oi! Get back to your own life! Or do i have to threaten you mundane people again with my magic?!" he threatened. That was the last he heard of that man in particular. "...i'll be alright..." Scarlot shakily said, getting back to her feet. She felt sick in the pit of her stomach, like everything in her life had suddenly turned upside-down. She thought her and her sister would live happily, but now everyone hated her sister, and pressure was on her.
Each flake of snow was perfectly sculpted, like no clump you see in Non-magic Earth, this was intricate beauty. White flakes floating down and caressing Laxion's face, it was a bit worrying considering it was rather mild in South Occulas right now. Looking over to Ruby, Laxion conjured a thought when the rather 'heated' male spoke up. Laxion agreed with him, giving anyone extra time besides them could endanger Lilly. And like Ruby had said... Laxion felt like he should help Ruby out, besides, they had nothing better to do, and their night had been ruined.
Laxion nodded to Kyne, who had then introduced himself formerly, then extended his manly hands out to accept him. Straightening himself up, Laxion almost got back into his military memories but remembered where he was. Handing out his hand to Kyne, he shook his hand and said firmly "Laxion, Greenleath." with another friendly nod and short smile that included just a small curve of his lips. Scarlot meanwhile had stood herself off and had some time to think, that was when she had began to walk away from the crowd of people, including Laxion, Kyne and Ruby. "Hey!" Laxion said. "uhm.." thinking..." Scarlot?!" "I'm okay! Don't worry about me or my sister... this wasn't your fault and you have no idea what your dealing with..." "Maybe we don't. But we want to help anyway!" he then double took as he looked back to Kyne. In a lower tone he asked almost with surprise "A-are you steaming?!"

Ruby
Scarlot didn't seem very determined to apprehend her sister, but her agenda would change quickly. Laxion scorned the impudent offender for judging the woman so harshly and the male coward in fear by fleeing the scene. The manufactured snow still fell despite the groups positive efforts. Ruby could only imagine Scarlot's subconscious thoughts and probably wished that this was a bad dream. The reality still reminds even if this was a nightmare. How were her, Laxion, and Kyne Embers (the new addition to the team) going to solve this catastrophic mess. Was the rest of the Occulas entering an era of eternal winter or was it confined to the city, for now?
Her military prepared partner took Kyne's brawny hand giving him a firm shake. Ruby placed her hand in his and suddenly the water was expelled from her once saturated clothes. The warmth of his natural temperature consumed her body before the cold pierced it. The red head alley wanted to nudge the team into starting their elongated quest earlier. However, Scarlot was the main female that all their concerns feel upon. She figured that baring the weight of the search of her sibling on her own would make them leave her be.
Laxion tried desperately to convince the brunette from leaving, but she continued forward. The albino sighed and stepped up. "Where will you go? I'm sure you won't make it a mile, not in this weather. Plus, your not safe alone. People won't show you kindness now and you witnessed it yourself a couple of minutes ago. Admit that you need our help."

Snow drifted gracefully to the ground around them. With the overcast skies cleared, it almost looked like the stars themselves drifted down to coat Magic Earth. All but a slowly expanding circle around Kyne's feet. Their souls immediately overwhelmed him. An inner strength and determination that did not waver to any adversary. Beautiful in it's might and honor, Kyne instantly felt he could trust this man and pale girl. Trust not easily gained nor forgotten. Yes, steam. He scratched the back of his neck with a awkward smile, which left as quickly as it came. Time waits for no mortal. If your sister is in peril, It is my fate to assist in her salvation. Kyne turned towards the fading trail of the singer. She was not gaining distance at a great speed, but a steady pace nonetheless. He nodded in agreement to both statements from Laxion and the pale girl. They where both virtuous and self-sacrificing, qualities of proper allies. Expendable if need be. Kyne began tromping through the piling snow towards the damsel in potential distress.

 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
The steam that left Kyne's body calmed after he had covered himself, but after the confirmation from this hot-bodied character, Laxion found himself nodded almost with an expression to say 'not-bad' if he were to say it. It wasn't very often he came across someone like Kyne, for the most part he thought they were fire elementals, LAxion's 'cousins' so to speak. But he coudn't pin-point that racial relationship on Kyne. BEfore looking away he noted how the floor around Kyne was keeping a fine circle around his immediate vicinity from becoming frosty. It was his commitment to expend himself that caught Laxion's attention, made him realise that perhaps him and Ruby had found someone else they could call a friend in this world.
Scarlot had stopped in her tracks, and she turned around as he rose-petal red short dress spiralled around her, her long brunette hair following her back as she stared over through the falling facade of snow. She glanced from Ruby, after her comment, and then to Kyne and then to Laxion. She was about to speak when she felt a strong gust of wind that chilled her spine come brushing past herself and the others, it was coming from Lilly's direction and it felt like her sister was really trying to keep scarlot away. She swallowed like it was her fears now being buried beneath her when she saw the uncovered floors and walls, roofs and lamposts, even arcane crystal that were placed around the city frost over. Everything was frosted, everything. "You really want to help?!" she shouted over, her voice shaking from cold and disbelief that these people would commit themselves to saving Lilly. Laxion nodded, almost as if he coudln't speak. Then Scarlot began stepping forward through the heavy snow swirling around them, using her arms as face guards from the ice-cold snow that threatened them with no glimpse of stopping soon. When she got to speaking distance she said ""thank you... And my name's Lottie. I find Scarlot too formal." she exchanged a friendly glance up to each of them, she was notably shorter than even Ruby. Then Laxion realised she must be young, but she did have a folded up weapon by her self, Laxion could tell, it was collapsed so he coudln't tell what it unfurled to, but he could tell teh designs were that of Hope Academy's sort. "So we should leave now then" LAxion said, looking over towards the frozen river, realising the shadowy figure that was Lilly was now gone, allthe snow and fog had made it hard to see very far, and that last gust of wind definitely meant to keep them away. "uh - " he sighed. "Where would she go?" he asked.
"I dont know, the- the Iringod Spires perhaps? She always said that if she was going to run away, she wanted to go to the spires due to the already built bridge systems there"

Ruby
Kyne was intensive on the young woman's pursuit, but unlike him Laxion, Scarlot, and her were unacquainted to continue in this weather. Laxion wasn't to far from the red headed male's pretentious occupation of protection for the brunette. Perhaps in time, he could earn the title of friend and maybe join their team. Of course, he could never replace Alexis not by a long shot. Ruby cringed from the memories or it must have been the inconceivable blithering cold. The albino was shivering in her sopping wet ruby slippers and quickly decided to follow close behind the walking ember. The steam exuding from his body was sending heat waves over her freezing exterior.
Scarlot, turned abruptly yelling out her answer that was inaudible through the rising winds. Snow flakes roughly bombarded her skin leaving a cold burning sensation behind. Lottie (that's what the girl wanted to be addressed by) was trying to shield her face with her arms. Hopefully, Kyne could reach the damsel and defend her from this raging storms that threatens to trap them six feet under. The female guessed that Lottie approved of their aid or else she would have disappeared in the thick sheet of fog by now. She was a little closer to Laxion and he questioned where Lilly might take shelter at.
Again, the girl was left in the dark, but would escort the girl nonetheless to her sister. Looking to her partner, she tried to retain a shaky smile before moving discreetly closer to Kyne. The ground was expelled of snow where he was standing and it was all the more pleasant to be in his presence. "Y-y-ou lead-d, Lax-x-xion!" She shouted distorted, giving him permission to lead the mission sense he is the most qualified to do so.

Kyne stopped in his track of melted snow. Watching the pale girl struggle to harvest heat from him put a smile to his face. He threw an arm over her shoulder, and walked to close the distance between the rest of the group to conversate easier over the howling winds. As long as they where a certain proximity from him, they should have nothing to fear from the cold. The pale girl however seemed to have the most problem with the temperature so Kyne removed and offered his cloak, which was enough by itself to defend against an ice age. With one hand outstretched with the cloak to the pale girl, he turns his head to Laxion. If you know exactly where she is headed, please lead the way. Tracking her in this weather would take far too long, even for me. This team was proving to be useful already. Growing impatient, and being to stubborn to verbally offer the cloak, he pushes it against her shoulder gently. Though it only been a few seconds, to Kyne, this generosity felt like a excruciating eternity.

Lottie nodded "Right". At all other times she would be confident, outgoing and ready for any oncoming storm, but this was a magnitude of other feelings. She's never had to worry about someone else so much. But even in times like this, unexpected people would promise surprising things. "Our best bet would literally be to search the mountains, hopefully we'll be able to reach her before she goes too far". Laxion had crossed his leathery arms to attempt keeping himself warm, noticing how cold Ruby was now from the way she was speaking. Now he was wondering whether he'd be warmer in metal armour or if his jeans and leather jacket would be the best. Too late to change now.
"s-so then" he said. The half-breed then nudged his shoulder and face towards the river to gesture them all to make them way when he heard a very distinctively, magical spell cast behind them all. Then the remaining people that were still dispersing suddenly began yelling and repeating this afternoon's events. It immediately made Laxion want to threaten them all with his spear, these people were like animals. Why were the less magically or even physically skilled so outraged these days? All they have to do is learn. But when he looked behind them all he came to find several elite magi in heavy blue robes, another of them glowed like starlight until the teleporting spell wore off. This one had gadgets lining his arm and several hanging off his belt. The last of them had a fiery red phoenix on his shoulder and long white hair.
He gasped, he then cursed under his breath "M-magus'bane", as if at the specific moment he half wanted to be happy, but his other side wanted to give up this expedition. "Silence!" came a long, drawn out, old man's bellowing voice. "You should all know better than to stay out in the freezing cold!" "But she's a monster! Look what that band did to our pristine city!" "Yeah! You're not going to let someone with power like that go without conviction?!" the people argued, but Professor Magus'bane, leader of the Arcaz Sovereignty and Headmaster of Merlin Academy wasn't in the mood. He was... abnormally more aggravated that normal judging by his tone alone."Oh no" said Lottie, swallowing her uncertainty. The old and only living Grand Mage walked up to the smal group and looked them up and down, more notable Kyne who was visually better-off than the others.

Ruby
Embers was a true gentlemen offering his fur lined shoulder cape to her. Ruby, being indecisive, must have taken to long and Kyne emphatically cascaded it over her shoulders. It was like a heating blanket, but weighed a ton and she almost lost balance when the male first draped her with the accessory. However, she had no complaints and hoped it was wide enough for the other two to snuggle under it. Gathering two edges in her petite hands, she pulled the cape around her until she was a walking burrito. She could already see Laxion shivering and probably will be subjected to hypothermia if he isn't shielded from the subzero weather. Lottie didn't seem to affected, but she knew for a fact that the brunette would die within an hour if she didn't cover her feeble body. She suggested that the mountains obscured Lilly from the barbaric society.
An icy path awaited them on the river, when a cacophony of magic occurred behind them. People crowded and constricted the scene, taunting up a storm making these newcomers feel unwanted. The group of men and woman that had materialized were none other than the Elite Magi, the most influential spell casters know to Magic Earth. Their blue authentic attires, weaponry, and supernatural companions signified who they were. The disrespectful mob was silenced by the clamorous voice from one of the elders. Ruby would regret the day she ever got on his unpleasant side.
The child swore Magus'bane was giving them a disapproval look except for Kyne. To be honest, it was foolish of them to still be outside in such harsh conditions. Laxion means well, but he knows as well as she does that none of them were going to make it to the mountain, again, expect Embers.

His mind was elsewhere as the Elite Magi appeared, so it came as a suprise when the oldest, and most powerful, was already a few feet away sizing Kyne up. Who was this man who eminated such a powerful aura with nonchalance? His adrenaline for the salvation of the performer was dying down, which calmed the steam emmiting from his skin. However, this did not mean he was not without suspicion. Kyne stepped forward.Sieze your pursuit of the girl, or greet fatal opposition! Kyne prepared himself for any retaliation. Whoever this man is, this group could be cooperating with the assassins, and seems formidable indeed. Kyne did not however, do anything drastic, as to not end up regretting it later. Not after that last time many years ago. Scars that deep in the shoulder helps one remember that lesson.

 Scarlot Tamiya-Satoru ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±
Ruby didn't seem to speak when Magus'bane appeared, Laxion at the time only kept his mouth shut, not wanting to see his mind physically ad mentally crushed from arcane magic if he stepped out of line. Instead he stepped slightly in front and to the side of Scarlot to keep her safe. Taking in a deep breath he widened his gaze as Kyne stepped forward to confront the Grand Mage. Professor Magus'bane gave Kyne a questionable stare when he threatened with 'fatal opposition'. The scientist with him raised a brow and the other magi tightened thir grip on their metallic staffs, each with a different array of crystals at the tip or inscriptions down the silver rods. The old man said quietly to the magi "Clear this sow will you". They followed his orders by raising their staffs which glowed blue until they dropped them back down hitting the rods onto the floor, causing a careful gust of wind to force the snow on the floor outwwards, the snow above them falling around them. They were now kept safe within a dome of air that forced snow away.
Then Magus'bane sighed and said, with almost a raspy voice "I do not pursue anyone." he spoke slowly, as if to make sure anyone listening to him would fully understand his intentions. "But a freezing spell cast across my capital is quite the major threat." he looked round Laxion and said "Scarlot Tamiya-Satoru, come forward please. I don't mean you any harm, i want to help your sister as much as you do". Laxion gritted his teeth and tried his best not to pulled his arm away, but finally did so to let Lottie walked forwards. "y-yes, Professor?" "I have a letter here for you, from Lilly. She gave it to my Magi shortly after she first moved here." he said, he handed over a scroll as Lottie wrapped her cold hands around it and began to read the unfamiliar handwriting. Meanwhile Magus'bane spoke to Kyne Embers. "Next time - i would be more careful as to whom you oppose" his eyes baring the expression of 'respect your elders' sort of thing. "However, i do respect your courage".
Lottie began to read the letter out loud "I.." what she thought to herself. " 'I call for a portal to Skyfall?'... This isn't Lilly's handwriting." she the began tp panic as she saw the paper and her finger tips begin to glow blue. "Wait, no! You tricked me! I don't- no-please! I don't want to go to Skyfall! I-" suddenly her body was engulfed in a blue arcane light as she vanished like a blip on a map from existence. Laxion rushed forwards and said "What did you do?! I thought you were meant to be kind and full of wisdom!" "I'm very sorry... But we need to keep her contained until we find her sister. Any emotional havoc to Lilly caused by her sis-" ((uhm i'm going to leave this open for someone else to butt-in, i feel bad incase im taking too much of the spotlight with my characters D: So, what has happened here is the leader of the sovereignty has tricked Scarlot into teleporting to Skyfall, where the syndicate is, and where they shall contain her so that meanwhile the sovereigty and the syndicate can find and contain Lilly too, to 'protect' her. ))

Ruby
Kyne was a bit aggressive and probably didn't known to whom he offended. The robust elemental had the strength to intercept the Magi, but the knowledge of the old man's combative style is an enigma. Mostly because the man was obscured from the world view, but decided to conveniently involve himself in this matter? Why? He must know something about the two sisters or else he wouldn't be here in her opinion. Stepping back, he suspiciously whispered to one of his allies and an silent incantation was conjured to remove the snow from the area around them. It seemed like the elder was trying to establish a "friendly favor", although she wasn't so easily induced. The magi's arcane magic was impressive, but in a rather abused way. Did magic really have to be the last resort for protecting them from the bitter cold? The snow flakes outside the barrier collided soundless with the dome before being reduced back into their liquid form.
Ruby remained focused on Magus'bane wondering if he would consent her to speak. He casually answered Kyne, but shortly after ignored his existence all together similar to Laxion and her. The professor only glanced at them once and judged them inappropriately as nuisances probably. Like a court judge, Scalot was summoned to the invisible stand. He sounded somewhat convincing when he reassured her that her sister would be found. However, the atmosphere shifted when the letter turned out to be counterfeit. The burnette released a distressful cry before completely materializing to the Deceiver's location, Skyfall. Apparently, the harmless teen had to be confined there or would be "safe" there.
The protective Laxion retorted from this sudden occurrence, but didn't use force. Ruby was not so submissive and quickly resorted to violence seeing this as an act of tyranny. "Lilly is her sister and would hurt her no matter what! What you did was unnecessary. Bring Scarlot back, she's the only one would can convince her sister to stop this storm." Her guns were released and pointed at Magus accurately.

Kyne quickly put his hand on the pale girl's shoulder. This person has taken the sister hostage, and is the best person to tell the team where she is. We would need to split up, infiltrate the headquarters or traverse the frozen tundra, and return safely with our respective damsels in distress for high fives all around. Rolling in the karma points, thought Kyne as he locked eyes with the old kidnapper. If I have to beat the answers out this... this... uh... Yo, wizard guy! How do you want this to play out? Kyne looked over his shoulder to Laxion who at this point was obviously not agreeing with this method. What does he think of this, and what does he so dreadfully disapprove of? He jerks his head as to call him over with an expression of asking what was wrong. Surely this man has knowledge that may be essential in the matter. As long as Kyne did not have to engage combat, he was fine with some alternative methods. There are too many people around that might be caught in the dangerous crossfire and cause a bloody scene. As if anyone would want that to happen. Kyne clears his throat.

 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
Suddenly it seemed like everything was working against Magus'bane, his magi and his scientists. The saviours had tackled him one by one with verbal questioning to see if he'll shove off, or better yet, be swayed by threat. However, the leader's magi got prepared as they pointed their staffs at the trying saviours, their tips glowing blue and purple. The scientist with him pulled out some metallic objects that unfolded and shifted and ultimately transformed into sharp, curved daggers that were lined with a bluey-green fluid. "I am very sorry, but the way i plan things to play out is the way things must" he turned on his heel to begin walking away. "Leave them be" he said "They're distressed is all."
But Laxion wouldn't just allow him to leave, but his better judgement this entire time was should i really be threatening one of the guild leaders?. That's practically questioning the authority of the Guildeam, the High Court! But he went against it out of pure moral and threatened them with a growing suction of air towards himself. The then-already moving magi turned around very quickly and once against threatened the group with their staffs. Two on Kyne, one on Laxion and one more on Ruby, the scientist staying close to Magus'bane's side who was still facing away as if to leave. Then one of the Magi said "You should know better than to threaten the blue guild, Elemental." "Half, elemental. Actually" Laxion corrected the one on him. "He's part fae" came the Professors voice. "Scarlot will be perfectly safe with the Injustira Syndicate, i assure you. But now i bid you farewell." the Professor bided farewell, as he gestured for the magi to follow him.
The group of Magi and scientist then turned to a blue glow as they ereupted into a fury of arcane magic as they shot up into the sky and flew around until heading towards the highest tower of Merlin Academy in the centre of the city. Laxion sighed... he felt a bit like a failure now, he was bested by the blue guild and they lost Scarlot, as well as Lilly. "Great"

Ruby
Ruby felt a large mass of flesh curve around her shoulder and glanced over to see Kyne. She lowered her weapon slightly and knew she had to maintain her composure. Luckily, the jewel embedded inside her chest didn't active, but then again she wasn't displaying to much anger either. However, the albino did practically offend one of the major authorizes of the High Court and she was sure this mistake wouldn't go unpunished. They would be back with a noose that will be fitted neatly around her tiny neck, after all she basically asked for it. The magi's staffs' protruded out of their hands and glowed a sinister array of threatening dark shades. One man an revealed a maniacal blade that constructed itself, and had a transparent compartment with some kind of oily liquid inside. Although, the threat was more of a warning since no action was partaken.
The group of supposed wise leaders were departing when they all turned and acted like they were ready for battle. Each one of them trailed their focus on everyone of saviors, two for Kyne though wasn't much of a surprise. The red head probably inhaled nails and raw egg for breakfast. They portrayed themselves as high and mighty, but even Laxion wouldn't stand would such a ridiculous notion by voicing his own retaliative comment. Magnus'bane once again assured the team of Scarlot's well-being, but Ruby didn't by it." The professor, scientist, and other members disappeared into thin area leaving the other's to converse their next move.
The girl placed her guns back in their holsters and picked up Kyne's heavy cape. It had slipped off her shoulders when she pulled out her weapon to fight an unbeatable battle. She held the cape out to his rightful owner and glared at Laxion. "We have to find Lilly before they do." She commanded her friend.

Well then. Kyne clenched his fists as the fools took aim at him. The snow around him retreated to a wider radius around his feet. He watched the glowing tips of the staffs carefully. Do it. Blood on fresh snow would be beautiful. To Kyne's disappointment however, the team simply watched as they teleported away. Now there was only one rescueable damsel in distress left. This was growing complicated rather quickly and he felt a bit confused as to the relation between these people. Rules of the road says we not reveal our quests to each other in case they may be opposing but... What is going on? Kyne reached his right arm behind his lower back and pulled out a cigarrete out of nowhere. He put it to his lips and took a single drag as it lit itself. Who are these people really .
