Tabitha felt a bit relieved, at least listening to Claire speak. It was over, which meant that whatever had happened was done and no one had to worry about it. Still, she couldn't help but worry about her two sisters, though Rose seemed capable of caring for herself. Claire too, probably, and that was mostly because other than their father, there were no other guys in the family, well, other than her uncle-in-law. She gave Claire a bit of a look, realizing that the older girl assumed they were friends already. She giggled a little, then shook her head. "No, not friends yet. I'm Tabitha, by the way. Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier when I barged into the conversation. That was kind of rude. And I hope it doesn't happen again. That would be terrible."╔❤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Location: Leaky Cauldron Thinking: Claire, you're taking forever. OOC: ... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx❤╝

*~Claire Alexandrie~* Unsorted * Future First Year * Halfblood Claire eyed Catharine, at least she kept her mouth shut. Though did she really need to carry on this antagonizing anymore? ...After a few seconds of thought Claire shrugged, it's not like it was bothering her much.
Claire looked up at the older girl, her head tilted some, "...Yes, hopefully it will not." Though Claire had to admit whoever did this did a damn good job. Was that thought normal of ten year old girls?
...Whatever.
Claire then listened as Catharine introduced herself. Well, she did have to be proper, on the outside at least, "My name is Claire Alexandrie...Pleasure to meet your acquaintance~" She then did her nice good girl curtsy, no need to make more enemies needlessly. After all...some people she knew could come in handy if she needed to stab them in the back later on.
...Or get useful information.
"Oh heaven's no. We aren't friends...exactly." She then gave a sweet smile, "Maybe down the road." Or after she died...whichever came first. "Nice to meet you though Tabitha..." Mood: Fake Thoughts: ...ugh... House: Unsorted Year: Unknown ((OOC: ... ))

Claire smiled to them. It was nice to see new faces every once in a while, and if these were the prospective first years to Hogwarts, then Claire was more than excited to teach them all she knew about the school and give them hints and tips for their first year.
"Thankfully the school is fully staffed with professors that are more than capable of handling those kinds of situations. When they'd found out what was going on they managed to solve the problem rather quickly, so there's no need to worry." Claire told them. She then looked at her watch, then at Tabitha. "We should probably head to Diagon Alley if we want to get all our shopping done... would you guys like to tag along? It'll be fun~ we can all get to know each other a little more~!" For a moment, Catharine couldn't believe her ears. Was her luck turning around? Was it possible? Why was she questioning her good fortune. She smiled up at. . .it was a 'C'. Clairy...No-Clair! Clair and she had said that the other blood who was with her was also Clair. Two Clair's and a Tabitha. She glanced at the other girl, she was Tabitha. Tabitha was sister's with the older Clarry...No-Clair. She took a deep breath, then let it out quickly.
"It'll be great...if you could. I mean if it's not too much of a problem with extra. . .responsibility...I mean... the thing is...Well, I've got this key and I know that it's to something my father left me. At least that what my father's letters say," she said pulling the object out of her pocket. the old skeleton key was thick and heavy in her hand. She knew where and what it lead to, she knew a lot...she continued, "I came today. . .this place to try and find out where this key leads.
Is there a place on Diagon Alley that could... ah, shine some light on this?"

At the mention of how well prepared the staff is Claire bit the inside of her cheek, obviously it wasn't that safe if someone managed to sneak in. ...That could be useful information actually, "I'm glad the school is well equipped."
At the mention of tagging to Diagon alley Claire's eyes shifted, "That sounds absolutely wonderful..." Claire then looked up, "Though I do need to go somewhere, so I'll run along actually."
Claire honestly didn't want to risk getting found out by her family for sneaking away, "See Catharine? You are in good hands...This Claire seems like a wonderful person." Claire then smiled, "I hope you all have such a good day. I'm also sure you'll find that key~" Claire then handed Catharine a note she had written, "This will explain how to go to Diagon Alley in the future."
Claire gave a final bow and rushed off to the back of the pub, to enter Diagon Alley. The half-blood took out her wand and pointed at the stones in a certain pattern. When Catherine produced a key, Claire took a closer look. That sort of thing looked familiar... "I think that's a key from Gringotts... it's in the North side of Diagon Alley if I'm not mistaken. Catharine couldn't keep the smile from her face, even if she had wanted to. She had been right. The letters were true or at least that part of it was true as part of her whispered. She shouldn't trust everything from it after all, else it'd get her hopes up. Instead she gripped the key harder. Hopefully whatever it lead to would hold answers. She hoped anyway.
Still smiling she looked up at the other girl. Claire she reminded herself, Sister of Tabitha...whose standing right there and not following the pesky Claire.... She didn't glanced down at the paper she had been given. The girl a nasty piece of work, even worst than some of the gits from her old school. My old school...like...like I'll never had to return. . .
She kept her eyes on Claire, feeling so excited and happy that she couldn't keep the honesty from her voice, "Thank you...so much. Yeah, I think we should go. I'm excited to see this Diagon Alley"

Tabitha smiled, realizing that Catherine and Claire, well, her sister Claire, not the other one, were going to be going with her to get supplies. If anything, it ought to be fun. She didn't know what the other Claire was doing, but she didn't say anything, other than a smile and a wave at the other girl as she left. "Okay, have fun Claire." She then looked at the other two, pretty excited. She'd heard she needed a wand for magic, so the fact that they were going to get one was what had her so curious. Rose had shown her her wand, and explained how it worked, but it was way different than actually having one herself and doing it. "So where are we going first? I mean, I know Catharine has to go to Gringott's, but I want to see where else we're going. Like where we're getting a wand. Both my sisters have them, and they only showed me recently what they were and how they worked. Well, sort of, Rose said we can't use magic out of school. My oldest sister. She at least explained how it was supposed to work." Realizing that she was probably talking too much, she shut her mouth, though a part of her was thrumming with extra energy. At least they were going now, and she got to see the place for herself. She did kind of wish she had known ahead of time. That way she would have some idea of what was going to happen. ╔❤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Location: Leaky Cauldron Thinking: Yes, we get to go there now! And maybe I met a friend? Cat brushed her hair from her face, glancing at the other girl...Tabby...No, Tabitha. She tried to settle the name in her mind as she glanced the other girl over, then gave Tabitha one of her smirks, "So you've two sisters with magic? That's cool, I bet they bring back loads of stuff from school...And news and stuff about the Professors?
You do share bits about the Professors right? I mean, they must be really cool right? And the classes! I've love to hear about them can you share what they'll be like?," Catharine excitement bubbled up with each words, her mind racing far ahead of her mouth. She had answers here. Real answers. A chance to get insight into her new school, new world really. Best of all, she was sure they'd help her figure it out too. Thus avoiding the bit that happened earlier. That git that had brought her here had it written all over her face, contempt or something like it. Catharine couldn't say she hated the girl...Claire, the annoying one. She certainly wasn't fond of her though and was just as sure that that Claire (the annoying one) wasn't fond of her either.
"We should get going! I've not much time, my mum isn't aware where I'm about at the moment."

Catharine wasn't sure what thrilled her more. The sight of the wand or the entrance. At first she had been confused, gateways to magic were never in the back of pubs. In truth, if it hadn't been Claire, the annoying one, she'd never have thought of the place or taken notice of it. It didn't give off the feel of 'Hey, their something magic here' then again neither did she. Yet the wand, the wand was magically. She nearly missed everything, this Claire said because she was eying the piece of wood with such interest. Could a small thing really do magic? Why did they need wands? She hadn't needed a wand to fix the china she had broken by accident. Then again it could have been magicked to be unbreakable. She had learned quite a bit of stuff in the downstairs shop was enchanted. "A wand..." she muttered, then let the rest of the words sink in. She glanced up at the other girl, "A pet? Oh! Right, we can get those...never really thought about it. I was more taken with the books and other rubbish. I mean, some of it sounds silly...
Like work robes? Who wears robes and then Dragon Hide gloves? Hell, I suppose Dragons exist if tea pots can self heat, but gloves from a Dragon? And what are we using th-" She broke off from her ramble as the brick wall came alive, separating into a gateway. She would have stood there opened mouths, but as the others were moving forward she snapped out of it. She was not going to miss any of this. {{Exit to Diagon Alley Streets}}

Damien entered The Leaky Cauldron, his eyes on his best friend, amused. It was good to see Dom was acting more like himself... Damien just hoped it wasn't an act. He wanted Dom to be more like he used to; maybe not so rude or, yes, prattish (they both could've tied to that trophy), but easy-going. Happy. The cloud that'd been hanging over him needed to move on. Maybe darken his father's doorstep rather than his own. He got them a table, shrugging. "The t-shirts aren't bad. And the jeans weren't great at first, but once you get 'em broken in, they're nice. And I don't have to worry about ruining them, giving Brownie extra work when she does the laundry. She... she deserves to have it a bit easier." Damien was all for anything that made his House-Elf's life ever the smallest bit easier. She'd been through a lot.
He sat down, looking over the menu, not really seeing it, his expression amused. "I doubt you need to. She acts like it's a joke; I think she was more impressed with your swing than upset over the broken bones." The Slytherin had been oddly amused at the Hufflepuff's reaction. He'd never have guessed she'd be the type to find her own pain so funny, but that was the only way he could describe how she seemed to react to it. He really did not understand that girl sometimes. On the subject of OWLs, Damien was oddly proud of himself. Dom's response to his admission that his T (and yes, it had been a T. He'd not pulled a single punch there... or maybe it would make more sense to say he'd pulled them all) gave him the irrational urge to puff out his chest in pride. He had no idea why; maybe it was because, for someone who had lived his whole life meeting expectations and rarely ever even cared enough to defy anyone. He smirked. "One whole O, huh? Nice. I'm taking Wandlore. Wouldn't recommend falling asleep. The teacher is... serious. He's a nice enough guy, I think, but I wouldn't put it past him to kick you out the second your head hits the desk and then fail you for the year. He takes the class very seriously. Other than that... I dropped Astronomy and Herbology. Finally. And Transfiguration, only made an A on the OWL so I couldn't keep taking it. I think those're the only changes, though. Didn't pick up anything new. Didn't really feel like it." Honestly, Damien was happy with his new schedule. He hadn't felt the need to take anything new, aside from Apparation, but that sort of seemed obvious.
He sighed a bit when Dom brought up his mother. "Yeah. She... I don't wanna talk about it in public. There're enough rumors going around as it is. But she's gone... and if she shows her face, Father said he's going to send her to Azkaban." There. That was enough information that Dom would likely remember to ask what'd happened when they were somewhere more private. Damien sort of felt like his friend had a right to know, after all.
