Rowan nodded, looking at his ruined gaunlets on the table. She looked back at him. "I can help you out with that, as a ringmaster I have quite a bit of pocket money saved up." she said. She went on many small jobs on her travels. She ate like a bird and usually slept in inexpensive inns, which was how she was able to save up her money. "I was actually going to go show you where we need to go right after you finish packing." she said.

Frederick sighed. "Don't worry about the gauntlets. I can buy new ones. They are cheap." He smirked as she would mention the job that they we're doing. "Yeah. I am ready to go! Show me where we're going." He stretched his shoulders and arms as he waited patiently for her to lead him away. "This time. I won't be fumbling around at my feet!" He joked as he stepped beside her. Offering her his hand. "M'lady, if you don't mind." He asked with a charming smirk. Though not very seriously. He knew that getting to know your co-workers was a terrible idea...

Rowan smiled and curtsied, taking his hand. "Why I'd be delighted kind sir." she said with a smile. Rowan twirled her staff and pointed it out the door. "This way!" she said, dragging him along as she left the infirmary. The nurse rolled her eyes and returned to reading her magazine. Rowan led him out to the main lobby, and up a series of tall sprialing staircases. Every now and then a ringmaster would glance at Frederick, wondering what he was doing here. They climbled a total of 4 staircases until they reached the very top of the Ringmaster's temple. Once they reached the top teir Rowan led him out to a balcony. They were near the top of the tall dome, So high up they couldn't see the guards that stood at the front gates. Rowan let go of his hand and leaned on the railing, shielding her eyes with her hand to look out at the landscape of Arun before them. It was a breathtaking sight, from up here they could see almost the entire kingdom. After half a minute of searching Rowan pointed. "There, that's where we're going. Can you see it? By the mountain." she said.

Frederick stumbled and recovered every time she jerked him sharply around a corner. Then sighed with relief as they made it to the stairs. Keeping to her quite fast pace as she lead him to the top. He looked down at everything. He hadn't noticed how natural the city was up here. It was strange to be up so high. It made him slightly dizzy. He looked to where she pointed. "Over there?" Following where she pointed. "Yeah, I think. What's over there that we would want?"

. Rowan stepped back from the railing and reached into her bag to pull out the scroll. She unrolled it and handed it to Frederick. "We've been having a bit of trouble in Arun lately. Some of our people have been... disappearing in the strangest of ways. A mother that went to a bakery and never returned, an elderly man that went to the river and disappeared, a child that never returned from school. The list goes on. The disappearences began last week, and continue to increase with each day. Arun is a relatively peaceful place, there's hardly ever any crime which makes it strange." she said. "Now that area over there is one of Arun's darkest places. As soon as the disappearences began, the dark activity in that area has spiked. It's natural to assume that may be the cause of the disappearences. So far they've sent three ringmaster groups to examine the area... but none of our ringmasters have returned yet. So yes, we are to be the fourth group to go."

"Strange... so you said groups?" He would read over the scroll carefully. His face had become a serious demeanor as he examined the list. Not very important people in the list. He would look up from the list to Rowan. "Who is going to complete ours? I doubt they would send just you. Or just both of us if groups of you didn't return." Handing the scroll back. Not a lot of information had been made quiet yet. It seemed they we're drawing blanks.

Rowan nodded. "Groups of three had gone. Just ringmasters, no one else. So, I was hoping bringing along a fighter would help, since chances are they encoutered something in there. Ringmasters aren't the greatest fighters, which could contribute to why they haven't returned." she said. She looked over at Frederick. "I don't know who is to complete our group. I think we're meant to find that on our own... we've been short on voulenteers lately." she said with a shake of her head.

"Well no doubt. With three failed attempts from ring masters. I doubt volunteers would want to arrive. This many failed attempts makes your group look weak. Not to offend of course." He would say as he would hand the scroll of to her. "We'll need another at least. Maybe someone that can cast a wide selection of offensive magic?" He would ask leaning on the railing as he looked down at the city and the mountains around it. It was a beautiful sight to behold. No doubt about that.

Rowan took the scroll, tucking it away in her bag. "A magician wouldn't be a bad idea. Arun has many magicians, however they don't work well in small places. We're supposed to be going to a dungeon of sorts." she said. Rowan sighed. "We could try searching the marketplace dor voulenteers after you fix your gaunlets, there aren't any magicians here." she said.

"I guess." He somewhat mumbled as he stopped leaning on the railing. "You know your city better than I. Let's go find us a black smiths so we can get a cheap pair of gauntlets. I'll probably be wearing those out anyways." He joked as he looked down to Rowan. "Thanks for bringing me out this city. It's much different from what I am used to."

Rowan smiled brightly, turning to face him. "You're very welcome, I'm glad you like Arun. We all need to see new sights every now and then." she said. Rowan gave him a small bow of appreciation. "And thank you for coming here to assist our kingdom, we are very grateful." she said.

He rubbed the back of his head. "Just don't go around spreading my name. It's not like I'm here because you asked. Remember, I am here because I seek adventure!" He joked as he looked back down to her. "Let's get going. The city won't save it's own citizens apparently." He teased her as he would open the door for her back down the stairs.

Rowan smiled and stepped through the door as he held it open for her. "Uh... it might be a bit too late for that. I might have accidentally mentioned your name to a few people while you were resting... Anyways" Rowan pointed her staff at the stairs. "This way! Onward!" she said as she sprinted down the staircases to the first floor. How she had the energy to do so was a mystery. Rowan stopped when she reached the foot of the long staircase, waiting for Frederick to catch up. Once he was in sight she opened the door to go outside. She walked over to the gates they first entered through, the gates disappeared before her. She calmly walked over to the bridge, pausing before heading across it to the marketplace.

Frederick eyes widened when she said that she had already mentioned his name to people. When she had practically flown down the stairs. I hope none of those old gang members find me here... He follow behind her the rest of the way. "You travel way to fast for your own good." He teased as he tried his best to keep up with her. Fascinated by the magic that everything seemed to be running quiet well on... He would follow her to the market place. He hoped that he wouldn't get attacked while inside. If any members of the Ex-Organization existed. They would be all over the chance to attack him...

Rowan arrived at the Ringmaster temple after half an hour of walking. She walked over to the grand gates, sighing in relief that she arrived safely. She was paranoid her entire way back, getting the onimous sensation she was being watched. But at least the Ringmaster temple was safe. Protected by countless spells and sheilds, as well as guards. She held he staff up to the gates. They glowed in response, disappearing to allow her to pass. Rowan walked inside, recieving odd glances from the guards. They must have heard about an arrested Ringmaster, without a doubt...

Rowan greeted her younger brother once she was inside, ruffling his blue hair before heading up to the head Ringmaster's office. She had a duty to do. Nervousness stirred in her stomach. She took a deep breath and knocked on the massive door. The door swung open on its own. Rowan entered, bowing her head. The door slammed shut behind her. The head Ringmaster wasn't surprised by her visit, he looked like he'd been expecting her. Rowan walked over to his desk, sitting across from him in the pulled out chair. She rested her hands nervously on her lap, then began to explain the cause of her actions yesterday.
