Chaos sighed and stood. "I need to go, but I will be back." He nodded at both of them before making his way out of the small den, climbing back up the sand hill with no problems, his wings outstretched for balance.
Ruin grinned and turned to Demoni. 'That was easier than expected.

Lacey greeted her son warmly as he approached their nest. Two weeks prior, Grimm had left, leaving a bit empty hole in Lacey's heart, but she had pushed the feeling aside and focused on her family. As soon as she finished hugging him to her, she set about picking the various things out of his mane and coat and out of the crook of his wings which had mysteriously gotten caught. "Did you have a nice visit with Ruin?" She asked offhandedly,
Roman looked up at his mother, realizing that she was more intuitive than he had first given her credit for. Before he could say anything, his mother spoke again.
"I don't mind you going to visit him. I'm not going to stop him because he's your father. But do let me know before you leave, alright?" She said, waiting for his nod before letting him go. "Remus is with Uncle Del. Why don't you go play, okay?"
Roman nodded and lightly nuzzled his mother's chest before trotting off to Uncle Del's Den.

Demoni smirked. "He acts like you, but he's still young and naive... just like his mother was."

Delta had been taking a nap with a tuckered out Remus when footsteps aroused the former from his sleep. He smiled brightly at Roman as his sleepy red gaze fixed on his nephew. "Welcome back," he greeted warmly and quietly, not wanting to wake Remus.But Remus soon awoke as well, scrambling to his feet.
"You're back!" The colt scrambled to his feet, nearly falling over again. "Where'd you go? The Crash was sooooo bored!" He made a face when Delta just chuckled at the nickname Remus had given himself. "An-y-way, what should we do today?" His feet were wobbling from the training that Plouton had let him join Delta in, but with Roman back, if there was anything he wanted to do...

Roman grinned as he headbutted his brother at full speed, his wings tucked tight against his body for better propelling powers. "I'm pretty sure 'The Crash" was entertained by Uncle Del, huh Uncle?" He asked stepping back and shaking his head before looking up at his role model since Grimm left. He then turned back to his brother. "Lets go back down by the river and get Mangos!"

Delta chuckled, drawing a blush from Remus. "I tried. He has been a bit sulky, though." It had been hard to get his nephew excited enough to do anything, but once he did... well, he played until he tired out.
Remus grinned back when he was headbutted, shaking his head slightly to ease the ringing from the impact of his skull and Roman's. His face lit up at his brother's suggestion. "Yeah! Let's do it!" He couldn't fly like Roman, but he could bash the trunks of the trees and knock the fruit down. He was getting good at it too.

Roman grinned and nudged Delta before taking off towards teh river, looking back at Remus. "Race ya!" He called, his wings tucked into his sides so he didn't cheat by flying.

"Hey, you gotta head start!" Remus complained as he rushed after his brother. If Remus could beat him anyway, it would be great, but if not... well, Roman had a head start.
Delta chuckled, trotting along after the pair. No, he wasn't really racing, but he wanted to be there if they needed him. He'd grown close to his nephews and enjoyed spending time with them, whether the stallion was actively participating in the colts' activities or not.

Roman barely beat his brother, despite the head he had taken. He fluttered up to the branches of tree when he got there. "Catch, Remus!" He called before sending Mangos down towards the ground.

Remus blinked and frantically worked to catch the falling fruit. All the while, he complained, "I'm not good at catching! The Crash smashes, not catches!" Even so, he didn't do a bad job. There was a mango or two that he'd missed and had splattered--and one that he'd accidentally scorched with his growing flames, but he managed to keep most of the batch intact.

Roman grinned and settled down on the ground and began dividing up the mangoes so the three of them could share them equally. He waited for Uncle Delta and Remus to dig in before he munched happily on his favorite fruit. He waited for a moment before approaching the question he wanted to ask Remus. "Do you want to go with me tomorrow?" He asked his brother.

Remus had just taken a mouthful of mango when Roman asked his question. The colt nearly choked, gagging for a moment before managing to swallow the bite of fruit. "Go with you? Is that really ok?" Remus asked skeptically. "Mom was worried, y'know? Won't she freak out if we're both gone in the morning?"

Roman looked away, almost ashamedly at the mention of how their mother had been worried. "Yeah, it'll be okay, as long as we tell her where we are going." He said as he looked back at his brother. "We have other siblings, you know."

Remus nodded to the reassurance, all hesitation gone. Then he tilted his head. "Besides Regulus, you mean?" he questioned at Roman's odd comment. What was this about? Was he suggesting that they'd meet new siblings down south?

Roman nodded and finished eating, silent on that subject for now.

The morning sun rose the next morning, and Roman set about waking his brother up so they could get started. He'd already told momma where they were going and she had simply nodded her assent, though he saw the reluctance and want to keep them in the north in her eyes. "Remus... Come on. Let's get going.?"

Remus grumbled and took a few minutes to arouse himself from his pleasant dreams. Once awake, however, he was a ball of energy. "Ok! Let's goooo!" Although he couldn't help feeling a bit nervous--after all, their father was someone who made their nerves-of-steel mother worried.

Roman smiled and motioned for Remus to follow him as he followed the now familiar trail he had taken to see Ruin. They arrived shortly and he went straight to Ruin and Demoni's lair, where only Dakini seemed to be. He grinned and trotted over to her, "Hey Daki. How's it today?" He asked.
