Adrian raised an eyebrow at Arianne, when she said her past didn't matter and called herself plain. "Our past makes us who we are. Without what we were, we wouldn't be what we are." He then laid a hand on her shoulder, "And I don't see a plain preistess before me. I see a lovely preistess. Though, I could care less about the mirror."

Arianne shook her head lightly, but did not dispute his statement aloud. When he touched her shoulder, she jumped a little bit, and met his gaze. "I thank you, but its all falsehoods- the trappings of a priestess deceiving your eyes." Arianne glanced at the men around her, amazed at how fast they had worked. "It appears your men truly want that wine, we're already leaving port." She watched them finish up, readying for the ship to pull away.

Adrian nodded, "Its very nice wine." He said with a smile before looking to his men, "All right men! You've earned that wine! Now weigh anchor. We're leaving port." he said as his men untied the mooring lines and pulled up the gangplank, the Lunaretic slowly begen to shift away from the dock, making its way out towards the sea.

Adelaide spent a while running around the town before she spotted Arianne. She ran after, only to see the boat she was on begin to pull away. With a determined face, she ran faster, and soon wood was heard under her armored boots. Her hand grabbed a rope tightly, it must have strayed from the men on board and she jumped, using the momentum to land on the deck. She drew her sword with concerned eyes and a strong face. "You will unhand Lady Priestess Arianne, or you will feel my blade." Her voice didn't waver, but it held a regal tone to it. She held her shield close to her, and her sword out at one of the men. She then saw her charge and her eyes lit up. "Lady Arianne, are you alright?!" Her eyes glanced to who she supposed was the captian, the one with the bronze sword, and pointed her sword to him. "Release her to me immediately!"

((Finally. I was all lonely by myself xD))

For a second, Arianne froze. She wasn't sure what to do, her goddess had given her clear instructions that no one was to know she left on her own, for the panic is would cause. I can't let her go around waving her sword around in my name at innocent people though! "Ela, calm down." Whether it was to calm her down, or simply because of the ease from being soo far away from the rules of the court, Arianne used the pet name she'd used as a child. "He was paid for my travel, Ela."

Adelaide shook her head. "I figured, that's why I'm here to retrieve you." She was talking about Arianne being a hostage and her sword went slightly lower as she walked closer to her priestess. "Once more, Release her to me." She had confidence, even if it was fake. On the inside, she was worried and scared for her old friend.

Arianne shook her head. "No, you misunderstand." She stepped up to her and placed her hand on the flat of the blade, lowering it. "I paid them." She rested her other hand on her friends shoulder. "So why don't you put that pretty sword away before they get worried about it?" Arianne glanced at Adrian. "I apologize, Captain, I should have warned you that I would be pursued." With a deft hand, Arianne filched one of the pursebags resting from the princesses clothing. "You're going to need to pay your way, Ela- look how far out to sea we are. Its past the point of turning back."

Adrian just watched Adelaide with mild amusement, "You come on to a ship, that is leaving port, and then threaten the captain. You should know you are surrounded by my crew." He said gesturing to the men who had closed in, all armed. "Listen to Arianne. I don't want to spill the blood of a woman. It's just not proper." He said slowly making his way down from the helm, to the deck, as another crewman took over. "But we have left port. You can try to swim back, but you'll likely drown. Or you can stay on my ship, those are your two choices." He then looked to Arianne, "And you may want to change out fo your, how did you call them, trappings of a priestess that deceive my eyes?" he said with a smirk, "Well, stop deceiving me, and show me how 'plain' you are. I have some spare clothes in my cabin. They might be a bit big for you, but you don't want your nice robes to get all messed up aboard the ship, now do you?"

Adelaide blinked, obviously confused. "Why would you..." She shook her head and sheathed her sword. "I don't want to know right now." She turned to the captain and curtsied the best she could in her armor. "I apologize for my rash behavior captain. I was only trying to make sure Arianne was safe." Adelaide dropped the formal titles after Arianne pointed out how far from port they were. She took one of her many money pouches she had on and grabbed the other from Arianne. "Will this cover the trip?" She sheepishly grinned for a minute showing a less serious side to her. The goofy manner the princess had naturally was hidden by the serious front the knight academy had taught her to have, but it shone through every now and then. "If there is anything I can do to help on board, I'll gladly help as retribution for falsely accusing you and your crew." She spoke to the captain with the regal tone she had been raised to speak in.

Arianne smiled affectionately at her friends amusing antics, even as she ignored her question. While she bristled inwardly at the captains threatening of her friend, Arianne understood it and she said nothing. When the captain returned his attention to her, Arianne gavea slight nod. "I-I suppose you are right." Priestesses are not allowed to wear a mans clothing, but they aren't allowed to run away either. As she headed down towards the cabin, Arianne heard her princesses offer to help, and chuckled- until she realized the eyes of many of the pirates were on her, plainly amazed that the Holy Lady Priestess Arianne Kyoko was ontheir boat. Cringing inwardly, sshe fled faster.
When she reached the captains cabin, she took a moment to calm her nerves, and looked through his clothes to find the spare breeches and slightly oversized long sleeved tunic. Pulling both on, and tying the sash from her robes around her waist so the tunic was fitted, she braided her hair and tied it off at the end. Her bland brown hair had been streaked through with purple, in honor of their colorful goddess. Without the robes, her body was no curvy creation, but neither was it the thin, supple body Adelaide possessed. And her eyes were so dark they ewere no color at all. Pair that with my plain features, I appear as if I were any waif of the sea.Folding her fancy robes and placing them where the spare clothes had been, Arianne felt a slight shock at seeing her clothes rest next to a man's. The mirror, tucked away in her cloak, was hidden as well, and while she loathed to leave it, it would not be safe to carry it with her. Walking to the deck, she spun for the captain. "Well? Am I not plain, neither curvy nor willowy, dark nor light?nothing to draw the eye?"

Adrian smiled to Adelaide, "Now that you aren't waving a sword around, we can all be civil. And I warn you now, never draw that blade against anyone in my crew. And you need not help." He said as he took the money, "With this, you become a passenger. You're only job is to stay out of the way of my crew."
When Arianne came out, the captain went wide-eyed. He had known many women, and seduced several of them. And though, she was not rail thin nor graceful, she drew him in like no other woman could. He quickly composed himself, "And I have been corrected Priestess. You are not so lovely, as I had thought." he said letting the words hang for a moment, "You are even more so. I might even go so far as to say gorgeous."

Adelaide smiled greatfully. "My blade is meant for enemies and protection, not for you or your men." Then Arianne walked out and Adelaide let out a small gasp of amazement, and then she heard the captian's comment and a small growl sounded in her throat. Her face became a bit serious again and she got protective. "She is indeed gorgeous, as she has always been. Excuse me." She walked below the deck, dying to get out of the armor that was currently encasing her. She snapped off the chest plate and her leg covers, as well as her boots. Her outfit under was a tan shirt - that showed off her stomach and covered her arms - as well as billowing brown pants that seemed almost as a skirt and snug cloth boots. She carefully undid her braid and pulled it into a high ponytail, making sure her bangs stayed out. She re-fastened the money pouches, as well as her shield and sword and resurfaced, standing next to Arianne. "It was getting a bit warm in the torture suit." Her natural demeanor began to poke through again. Adelaide had always joked around about the armor being a torture suit since it was hard to maneuver it - though she made it look easy - and kept all heat inside. Her hand fell to her hip, and she held it lightly, enjoying the breeze that was cooling her off.

Arianne heard Adelaide's gasp, but presuming it to be on of outrage at the sight of a priestess in pants, she looked away in shame. At Adrians comment, Arianne's gaze snapped up to him in shock. "Oh, don't freakin' pile it on." Arianne blinked a moment, then glanced away, startled that she had slipped up and spoken in her old accent. The one that had been trained out of her for so long. "I apologize. Thank you for the charming compliment." Even if I don't believe it. She barely registered Adelaide's defensive statement before she was gone.
Turning when Adelaide approached, Arianne smiled weakly. "As you always say." Between her belly and the way the skirt shifted against her legs, Adelaide had definitely attracted the eye of the crew away from her. Leaning towards her and whisperiing, Arianne murmured, "I wonder if any of them have recognized you."

Adeliade let out a small laugh when Arianne spoke how she used to, and it resembled bells. "Probably not. I've never really been present in this town before, that and I haven't said my name yet. If they don't know . . . Let's just say my name is Ela, alright?" She whispered back and winked playfully. She was trying to lighten her friend's heart. She was instantly in a better mood now that she had found Arianne. "Come on Lia, let's see that pretty smile of yours." She gave her own smile, and pulled down an eye to try and make her laugh. Was this the same person who had just threatened an entire pirate crew a few minutes before? Yes, yes it was.
