"Now, now, my trainer is watching!" Callie protested. "Oh, is that the edge of the forest? I suppose you are a good guide. You can pick me up for our date outside the Team Rocket base next full moon."

"Let her watch..." He laughed before stepping away and sighed as they came to the end of the forest and the start of a road. "...and here is where we part, my love. Until the full moon, Calathea..." He nuzzled her once again before bolting back towards the bushes.

Fifi watched the Meowth dart off, and realized she could see daylight. She and Callie walked out of the forest, and within a short while, her com started working again. Orienting herself, Fifi set off towards the base, not giving another thought to the forest or Meowth.
