Araceli groaned as she sat up in the sand, her hand reaching back to support her as she leaned her weight into them. "I-I'm fine." She said as she looked up at Kadryn. "You're really strong!" Ara mentally kicked herself for even trying to spar against the older female. It had been obvious Kadryn was much stronger than Ara was.

Kadryn gave Araceli a relived grin and offered her a hand up. "I've practiced for over 10 years and been hunting for about that long. Though I didn't mean to use that much strength.. Guess I gotta work on my control a bit." Now that she thought about it, she'd gone through a lot hadn't she... so much fighting and yet she'd never explored the world like she'd always wanted too..
"Maybe once you're older and know a bit more magic we can spar again.. and while you're at it, try to ground yourself! You have no connection to the earth through your legs and that makes you weak against trip attacks like I just used!"

Araceli took the offered hand and pulled herself up. Dusting off the sand she scoffed at her advice. "While I"m sure it's sound advice, it's a tad hard to get good footing in this sand." She giggled as she remembered Kadryn's first attempt. "If you'll remember, you tripped the first time you came at me."
She thinned her lips a bit. "I will train and I will grow stronger." She held out her hand to the Orderite. "And I will spar you again. Maybe I'll even win." She grinned big at that comment, realizing that she really liked the way the Orderite carried herself.

Kadryn laughed. "I did! Can't believe I did that either! Good thing my training teacher didn't see that or I'd be in for a world of pain filled training! I'll have to practice my own foot work it seems." She gave Araceli a big grin.
"I look forward to seeing you again, and the next sparring match!" This little girl had some spunk in her! Kadryn thought that she'd have been more quiet and reserved from how Araceli had acted earlier. But maybe she really was just shy and all it took to get her to open up was to fall flat on my face.
