"Damn right I am." Khira said, slapping Jake across the cheek, not hard enough to do any damage but enough to leave a stinging red mark. "And of course I was gone, don't you realize how much alcohol we drank the night before? My bladder was fixed to explode..." Khira's expression softened as Jake realized his mistake and came to terms by touching and rubbing her distended pregnant middle. "As much as I would love to say yes just to send you on a guilt trip, no I don't. And I was hoping you would say that because the last town back ran out of horses my size..."

He winced at the slap, Jake deserved that. So he had been the one to leave? Still she probably wouldn't have chased after him if she hadn't become pregnant. Jake stared at her a moment rubbing his cheek. "Well you're in luck, there's a town close by. You think we should rent a horse and cart? That way you won't have to walk much." he stated looking at her middle. "No doubt it's hard to walk period.." Standing he held his hands out. "Need a hand up, how about we move some place more comfortable for you so I can give your feet a massage?" he asked sweetly motioning over to the comfortable sleeping bag he had yet to unfold. "How long ago did you realize you were pregnant?" he asked with concern.

Khira resisted the urge to slap the mage again. "I'm not so big that a need a cart to pull me..." Khira said indignantly as she hopped to her feet. Sadly her indignant rage didn't go the way she planned and her swift movements quickly unbalanced her, causing her land on her plump butt beside the log with a puff of dirt. "I'm not fat..." she muttered, looking down at her bloated endowments and swollen middle. On the verge of tears, Khira ignored Jake's hand and remained where she sat in the dirt. "About two months back," she answered, "The next two months I spent trying to locate you..."

As he watched her tumble to the ground the mage felt compassion for her. Here she was carrying, not one but two, human children within her. As she looked like she was about to cry Jake quietly kneeled to her side and gave the Dwarf a comforting hug. "You're not fat, you're still very beautiful Khira. If you need to cry..my shoulder is here for you. I'm very sorry...had I known I would have stayed." he said gently allowing her to bury her face in his chest if she wanted. "I didn't mean it that way, I just want to make sure you're comfortable. I may have messed up alot but let me make it up to you for the remainder of your pregnancy. I'm not the insensitive jerk you think I am Khira."

Despite her smaller size, Khira returned Jake's hug with great gusto and buried her face in his shoulder, quietly crying the folds of clothing there. After a few minutes of this the dwarven bard pulled her head away from his shoulder and separated from Jake's embrace. "I would like that..." she answered, still sniffling a bit. "I would like that alot."

"You shall have it Khira." he nodded sitting next to her on the ground. Draping an arm around her shoulder he looked down at the dwarven woman. "When we get to town I'll buy you a nice meal and find us a nice room to sleep in. How long does pregnancies of your race last?" Curious, he knew that for Humans is was nine months usually, maybe a few months earlier with multiples. Though he wasn't sure of the other races, being from a hearty race the dwarves might carry their children longer. No matter what he would be there for her. Noticing her belly twitching a bit he could see the twins move within her. It was an odd feeling suddenly becoming a father, but maybe this was what Jake was lacking in his life.

"A typical dwarven pregnancy lasts just a little over a year, but this is far from a normal pregnancy. I mean look at me... I'm massive and this is only four months in." Khira replies, giving her belly as hearty jiggle before leaning her head against Jake's shoulder.

"I-I see." he replies with a bit of surprise as he watches her jiggle her tummy. "So you're four months along..wow.." Using one of his hands the mage gently touches her belly. Rubbing it gently he blushed feeling her lean against him. No doubt the woman will be glad when she births the children and gets her body back. Though how large she looked now, the babies probably needed to be C-sectioned out. Looking down into her green eyes he smiles. It was nice to have her with him again. Jake didn't care if she was a Dwarf, he still had feelings for her. Leaning his head against hers he sighed. "So despite this pregnancy, have you been able to practice your music any? From what I remember you've got a beautiful singing voice." he smiled remembering that's how they met. Sure they both had gotten drunk in a bar, but they met when she was throwing a concern in the square of that town. It was all coming back to him.

"Haven't done much singing of late, it seems I was always being interrupted by a sharp kick to the ribs or my bladder when I tried so I'm been practicing with my lute instead." Khira answers, her gaze drifting over to where her lute lay against her pack. Khira snickered as an idea popped into her head. "Although I suppose I could always learn to play a belly drum too..."

"You do that and the children will join in the drumming." he cooed lightly blushing. He could feel their kicks as he massaged her large keg shaped belly gently. "If I gathered your lute could you play me a song? After all you're the most musical and talented bard I've ever met." he smiled. The mage stopped and looked at her. "You don't have to..I just want to break the ice a little between us. Have you found out the genders yet?" he asked staring into her eyes gently.

Khira laughed, a very pleasing action as it caused the three great mountains of her chest to jiggle nicely. "Clearly you haven't met many bards... but yes, fetch me my lute and I shall try to play you something." She said, making to reach for it herself but given her short stature, it remained just out of reach. "And no. I've been busy with other things, like locating you."

He blushed trying hard not to look at her hefty cleavage. Her top and wardrobe looking like it was fit to burst any moment. Apparantly the dwarf hadn't thought about getting any maturnity wear. Not wanting to leave their cuddling spot, Jake uses his magic to levatate the lute over to him. "Here you go Khira." he smiles handing her instrument to her. Chuckling at her comment of how she was looking for him he blushed. "Well you found me and caught me. So what do you have in store for me now?" he asked shyly.

Grabbing the instrument from the air, Khira lay her back against the log and settled the lute atop her belly and in between her breasts. Catching his eyes, she explained. "Can't hold my lute like we were trained due to the belly so this is the next most comfortable way." Now comfortably nestled in beside her lover, the bard began to strum a gentle tune.

Jake smiled and closed his eyes listening to her play. She was very good, and loved the song she was playing. When it was all said and done he looked into her beautiful green eyes and gently kissed her lips. "I missed you.." he said to her softly turning to his lover. "...I'm sorry I vanished..I want you by my side always.." he cooed to her gently touching her cheek. "I bet our children will have your beautiful eyes." he smiled his free hand gently resting upon her large stomach. "I can't wait to meet them Khira.."

(We can probably stop quoting each other while we both online, after all I'm just sitting here refreshing our two RPs every five mins or so.) "You just figured out I wasn't a dream like an hour ago, how could you have possibly missed me..." Khira retorted, lightly jabbing him with an elbow. "And they better, otherwise my father will never believe them to be mine..." She added, lightly plucking the orange-brown hair that made up the strings of her lute.
