Oh God, is it that clip from some European TV show where they went around asking Americans on the street which country they think we should invade next?
'Cause I'm almost certain that isn't fake.
sad We're not all blithering idiots, I swear!
Just about half of us.
sweatdrop EDIT:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1598174198017667001&pl=trueThis is what I'm referring to.
I am constantly amazed by how mind-numbingly stupid some of us are.
No that's not it, but the one I had in mind was similar.
The one I had in mind was where this Canadian guy went around talking to Americans. Some of the people he talked to were average people on the street, but some of them were also college professors. He managed to convince all of them (random people and professors alike) into believing some of the dumbest possible things about Canada.
For example in one part he went to like "A recent study has found that 80% of Canadian grade 7 kids don't know what their home state is. What do you think about this?" And all of the people (even a few professors) went on about how education in Canada ought to be improved, not realising that Canada has provinces and not states. XD
Other things that he convinced them into believing include:
-that Canada has a national igloo
-that Canada's national anthem is all about how cold and weak Canada is and how we can't do anything without help from the US
-that buffalo hunting is a huge issue in Nunavut
-that 'halabaloo' (sp?) is considered a racist word in Canadian English
I have a feeling that it's fake though. It's just not possible to be THAT stupid...
