Aella wasn't good at flying and so as she walked past a couple of trees she saw some holes in the middle of them but given that she couldn't fly she assumed that her friend wouldn't be in any of them so she saw a tree with a hole in the bottom of the trunk and looked inside, seeing nothing but an angry squirrel who was not exactly happy with the fact that she had entered and disrupted whatever it was it was doing and started to get angry with her "I'm sorry little one, I didn't mean to upset you" she said as she backed out and started to back track the way she came.

Oh, this was simply priceless! How could she not think to look on the ground if she was trying to climb up. Sure, she was obviously more strong and daring than Aella, but that didn't mean that she always had to show off.
Just most of the time.
Well, pretty much all the time, but not ALL the time.
Some times called for her cunning intellect to show, as was clearly happening right now. Again she wondered when she would start getting more creative with where she looked.

Aella, not watching where she was going after backing away from the tree with the now upset squirrel she tripped over the log her friend was in and fell face first onto the ground "ow!" She said as she started to get up and brushed herself off, looking at the log properly now and wondered...just wondered if her friend was inside it but still wondered if she should bother looking, she wasn't really fond of upsetting another animal.

As the log was hit, it jolted the bird that barely fit inside of it around, causing her to bump her head and wings in places not meant for that sort of action. Before she could catch herself, an audible "OUCH!" echoed from within, followed by a hollow rustling noise as she forced her hands up against her mouth to stop the sound.

Aella stood there and blinked at the sound from inside and given the noise 'it' made she wondered if someone was hurt "e...excuse me?" She asked as she looked in "are you..." she was about to ask if the other was alright but instead she saw her friend "Sparrow!" She said as she crawled in "are you alright!?" She asked, now worried about her friend, the game can be stopped for a bit, her friends well being was more important "I'm sorry!" She said as she hugged her friend "obviously I didn't know you were in here so when I tripped over the log...oh, Sparrow!" She said as she kissed her friends cheek "im sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you!" She said, hating having hurt her best friend, that was good at all in her opinion, she would have to make it up to her some way!

Aww darn it, she'd been found out! and of her own doing! Even so, man, that had really hurt... Hearing Aella coming in, she called down "I'm kay! Lemme get out!" as she started to wiggle out from the end opposite of Aella coming in. Her arms were good to catch her and pull her out as the bird made it back to the out side and rolled herself over to look back inside the log. Almost immediately she was caught off-guard by a hug, followed by her own returned one (albeit quite a bit lighter in force). "Hey, it's fine. I'm not hurt," as the kiss she made a face before moving to wipe it off. "Seriously though, not your fault you tripped. I couldn't get mad at you for this. What kind of friend would that make me!"

Aella smiled at her friend ane let her go, climbing out her own side "i guess i have been around mommy too much, she goes too far over simple sorrys and it seems to be in the family, grandfather is the same with my mommy making something a little more then what he should" she said as she looked her friends head over if only with her eyes, making sure she couldnt see any bumps "thank you, you be best friend!" She said as she stepped back "want to hide again? Only fair since i didn't really find you."

Sparrow tilted her head, something not quite making sense to her. "My mom said that your grandpa is in jail or something though. How can he do that if he's not there with her?" Maybe her friend meant it in the past, but she should have said it in the past then! Past is past,now is now, they are different. Moving to stand herself up, she grinned at Aella. "You're my best friend too! I hope we can be best friends forever; I think that'd be fun." As she stood up, she shrugged. "I'm kinda hungry now. Maybe we could go bug our moms for some food or..." there was a glint in her eye as she continued, "...Maybe we could catch some ourselves!"

"Yes...he is, im sorry, it is the past im talking about" she said a little sadly, she never did see much of her grandfather before he went away but she did remember a few things about him like the bestest hugs ever that he gave, one day she ill be reunited with him but it will just take time. "I promise! We will always and forever be the best of friends!" She said grinning at her, wondering what to do before thinking that catching their own food might be fun "catching our own sounds more fun!" She said, hoping they wouldnt get hurt too much, they were still new at this.

The grin widened as her thoughts were reiterated with Aella's words. Yeah, they could be the bestest of friends forever and ever! Nothing could get in the way of them, and they would be able to tackle the hardest things if they worked together. Or that was the plan, for now, anyways. She held out her hand, or, more specifically, her pinkie, "Pinkie promise that we'll never go away from each other for a long time?" By this, she meant far away without the ability to contact each other if they so wanted to. Of course she couldn't ask her friend to just -stay- with her; that would be silly!
Once that was done, she turned her back to her friend, puffing out her chest and flaring her little wings as she placed her hands on her hips. "I am Sparrow, greatest hunter of the forest! Nothing will escape me!" As if on cue, a rat ran by, barely catching her attention before it disappeared into the coverage. Looking back, she shrugged. "Well, nothing from now on!"

Aella held out her pinkie and closed it around Sparrows "i promise i will never go away for a long time! Couldn't bare being away from you, life sucks without, at least, your best friend to do stuff with!" She said as she let go of her friends finger and giggled at Sparrow "well then my hunter friend shall we go see what we can find to eat? I am thinking a rabbit between us could be nice, surely between us we clan catch one" she suggested to Sparrow.

"Rabbit...?" Sparrow tilted her head, thinking about the idea. Those little buggers were awfully fast, usually too fast for even her quick thinking, but surely one wouldn't be able to outrun a pair of awesome hunters! This could be fun! Grinning, she cracked her knuckles and flexed her little wings. "Alrighty then! Let's get to it!"
At this, she started walking away, deeper into the forest. They were more likely to find something useful here. Glancing back to Aella, she commented, "Lemme know if you see anything, kay?"
