Lattice didn't enjoy cameras. They made her freeze up and the lights unnerved her when they flashed, actually they more than unnerved her. Still, she did this last year for Petro and this year was no exception at all.
Sometime during all the dancing she quietly took Petro's hand and lead him to where the pictures were being taken. She actually fussed at him a little quietly reaching up to his shoulders as she positioned him where she wanted him and when she was happy she stood next to him. As the picture geared up to get taken she had a sudden moment of panic and thus to avoid the potential flash of the camera she suddenly turned toward Petro, grabbed him by the face, and kissed him full on the lips. It was on that moment that the picture was taken. ((Enter!))Ithi had seen the signs for the photobooth as she had rushed headlong into the fight with the weird santa thing, so it wasn't surprising it was the first thing she returned to when she got back. It wasn't until she got there that she realized almost everyone there had a date for the pictures, but Ithi hadn't been in school long enough to make friends, let alone have a date. Oh well, she thought, grinning to herself, I'll just have my picture done now, and maybe next year I'll have a date! Then I can compare the pictures and see how different I am in a year. I bet it's a lot! With a renewed bounce in her step, likely from the after effects of the earlier combat, she rushed up to her place in line. When it was her turn they pushed and posed her just so that by the time it was all done she wasn't exactly sure how it would turn out, but she was so excited for it! She hastily thanked the photographer and bounded off toward the games she had been hearing so much about. SAY CHEESE Character 1 Name: Ithildin Image Links for Character 1: There's no official art of her yet, but you can find pictures and a description in her dorm located here! She's just kinda in wide eye'd amazement at the moment <3 Extra Information: She's wearing a dress like this one! and her hair is like this!Edit:: Raja did a reference!! Here!

((Enter)) Soren let her talk as she tugged him along, reveling in the fact that they were having a "conversation" and he did not have to respond. Yes, he was paying attention, fixated on her, and the small noises and nods he was making were actual signs of interest rather than feigned, but he could appreciate someone that understood that, and could carry the conversation on their own. It was relaxing, soothing really to be bathed in the words of another without deciphering what was appropriate to say, what he should keep silent about. She took hold of his arm, but when she spoke again his mouth tightened slightly and he pulled his arm away, pausing to face her. "It's not silly," he halfway grumbled before turning back the way they had been walking, this time slipping his arm behind her, palm resting on her side. Priestesses deserved whatever they wished for, and this was something that was relatively small in the scheme of things. There was no reason Neru should not desire it, and no reason she should not have it. He may have been eyeing the photographer, debating if he would be reprimanded for acquiring their equipment during the promenade event.

Surprise showed as the stallion took his arm back, and for the fraction of an interest a hint of insecurity showed on the mare's face. Fear, there and gone, in the blink of an eye as he looked down at her, before assuring her that wanting a camera wasn't half so silly as she thought it must be. She looked up at him, features guarded, before a little smile bloomed on dark lips, growing steadily wider and more content as his arm slid around her to rest at her side. Mirroring him, she curled her own thin arm around his hips, leaning into him as they waited for a few couples in line before them to get their picture taken. Really, when she thought about it, it wasn't much different then Bastion's desire to own a phone. It was something new, something foreign. A step away from tradition, even if it was only a baby step. A glance up let her notice Soren's line of sight, and she gave an amused little huff, patted his hand, and shook her head. Stealing the photographer's camera, while effective, probably wasn't a good idea. Besides, it was quite bulky. The one she wanted was far more compact, and the images were produced instantly, rather then having to be developed or printed up later. His encouragement meant a lot though, and she wondered if maybe a trip back into town in the next day or so wasn't too hasty. The line moved, couples posed, flashes went off, and it was their turn to take their place before the back drop.

((Enter)) The full affects of the punch had not quite worn off by the time they had wandered over toward the photobooth, and Yin had the strangest urge to go get their picture taken. Alexander always seemed to enjoy it, and there was the faintest feeling that everyone probably would love to have his picture. And of course, Yin liked the results, even if he did not love the actual picture taking. He glanced over at Alexander, taking in his costume with the top hat and makeup, and the decision was made. "Alexander, would you be willing to take a picture with me?" He gestured toward the photo booth, fairly certain that Alexander would say yes, some small part of him demanding that he just march over there, with or without Alexander, and announcing his presence, but really, he would prefer to go with the zomboil beside him, or it would not make much sense to go at all. One hand reached up, fiddling with his scarf almost nervously for just a moment.

Alexander might have been the first to exit the dancing grounds but it took Yin no time at all to catch up with him. The other boil had, at least, quieted down significantly and was no longer attempting to make himself the absolute centre of attention the entire time. It might have been a little funny at times, especially during the dancing, but it was rather a relief to see that the effects of the drink were finally beginning to wear off. As they meandered near the photo booth, Alex may have given it a lingering glance, wondering if perhaps he could convince Yin to get a photo taken with him. This would likely be their last prom before graduation, after all, and they were both all dressed up so nicely.... Glancing towards Yin, he was just trying to decide how best to mime asking the weremantis to get his photo taken, when he was suddenly surprised by Yin asking him first! He was a little taken aback at first, and blinked at Yin twice before his face split into a grin, and he reached over to take the other boils hand in his own while nodding enthusiastically, his top hat falling slightly askew. Leading the other boil towards the lineup, he reached up with a free hand to adjust his hat, but then with a slightly mischievous glint in his eyes, instead picked it up off of his own head and dropped it down on Yin's instead, it's green feathers matching the boils scarf quite nicely.

Soren waited, impatient that they had to let students go in front of them, that they did not show the proper respect to the priestess and allow her to go first. Things were different here, but he did not have to like them. He looked at the backdrop and then the photographer with flat eyes, only his arm around the priestess stopping him from crossing his arms. After a bit of flailing about the photographer deemed him too tall for the picture he was forced to sit so that the priestess could be seen behind him to take the photograph. The cheerful 'Smile!' rang out, and Soren tried his best to make his smile not look like a grimace. Still, it was not a large smile, corners of his mouth curving upward, but smiling on command was not exactly his forte. Smirking he could have done, easily really, but he was at least trying to behave. Something that was harder than it out to be with the warmth of the priestess along his back.

Soren's impatience radiated off him in waves, and Nergui was having to work to keep from laughing out loud as the tall stallion was fussed with then forced into a chair. It wasn't a battle she was entirely winning, and her amusement shown through in the impish little grin she wore as she slid up behind her date to drape arms over his shoulders, palms briefly smoothing along tan skin before relaxing. She was already smiling when the photographer prompted them, duel colored eyes shiny with humor. The flash left tiny dots of darkness in Nergui's vision that blinking could do little about, but she lamented that the picture would be worth the temporary hindrance to her sight. The spots would clear, and they weren't likely to be attacked in the middle of the promenade. It wasn't impossible, just unlikely. Finished, the priestess bent so she could press her cheek to his, arms tightening around his shoulders in a fond embrace. When she spoke her lips ghosted along his skin. "What should we do next, my guardian?"

Alexander seemed so enthusiastic that Yin could not help smiling, knowing that he had managed to get things right for once. Photographs really were not that bad now that he was somewhat used to the idea. That and the idea that there was a hat sitting awkwardly on his antennae. He did as directed by the photography student, and by the time the blinking lights from the flash started to fade away the last of the potion was wearing off, leaving him feeling out of sorts and rather embarrassed. "Do you want to go do something?" He did not add on the rest of his thoughts. Anything. Whatever. Just get me out of here where I can be mortified in peace. SAY CHEESE Character 1 Name: Alexander Image Links for Character 1: Here! However the hat is on Yin Character 2 Name: Yin Image Links for Character 2: Yin (I think is the best one for wings/scarf/hand marking) OutfitPose/Expression Specifics?: Alex is probably grinning or something, idk, pose is up to you because Seu and I are indecisive. Extra Information: Alex is about half a foot/15 cm taller than Yin. Wings are optional for Yin.

The flash of the camera as they got their photo taken was enough to leave an afterimage burned into Alex's visible green eye. He blinked a few times in a futile attempt to clear it, placing a hand against Yins upper back between his shoulder blades, practically using him as a guide to stumble away from the booth with. At the mention of possibly going to do something else, Alexander paused, tilting his head to the side slightly. They were supposed to be out on patrol, so heading to either the midway or rides area was not at all out of the question, and they could still keep an eye on things while having a little bit of fun. So rides or games. Rides or games........ Hrmnmnmm. Alexander, being the intelligent zomboil that he was, at that moment came up with a brilliant solution. He was going to mime out the options, and Yin was going to decide which he'd rather do. And so it began. The zomboil first held up a hand, then slowly moved it to point in one direction, before miming playing games, pretending to throw darts, to lift up a heavy mallet and hit the ground with it, to toss rings. And then he stopped, and slowly held up a hand to point in another direction. At that point he thought it best to mime being in the fun house, which obviously meant stumbling from side to side to show how the floor was moving beneath him. If Yin didn't want to be embarrassed, he shouldn't have bonded with this guy.

It took a bit more for her own eyes to clear and she rubbed at her face just a little, hoping that it didn't smear her make up too much as she blinked away the lingering effects of the flash. "Hm... We could always dance?" They could talk about that elsewhere, though... Exit

[ENTER]
Several traumatizing things had happened--which in Roch logic clearly meant he had to do something stupid to cheer both himself and Lark up, so the punk was heading for the photobooth, tugging Lark behind him.
"Look, so some bad stuff happened. Like a song about a duck and a country song--I'm not going to let it screw me over!" he told her. "You can't let that stuff bug you, either, got it? Even if it is... stuck... in your head," he said--supposedly he should be talking about the marriage joke, but it seemed the duck song was worse on him.
Waddle waddle.

[ENTERING]
There were definitely some things that were better left forgotten. So far, sixty percent of prom fell under the whole 'I could have lived my entire life without hearing that' way of thinking. Lark had followed Roch from the tent, and she gave no complaint when Roch tugged her towards the ... wherever he was tugging her towards.
"Y'still goin' t'that after party? I ain't sure if I got it in me, t'be honest."
Ben loped quietly after the duo, pausing now and again to idly groom his face.

He thought about it. "Sortta promised," he admitted. "But how about this--we go, we steal all the food, we leave?" he offered. "You're welcome t'sleep over!" he added shamelessly. "We'll toss in ANY movie other than pirates of the deadribbian, crash on the couch and figure out a way t'forget most of this ever happened. I'd say booze, but it don't work that well for me."

"Aw-rite. So long's we get t'steal all th'food. An' I snore, so. Hope y'got earplugs. An'... no booze. Not fer me. Don't like not bein' in control of m'self."
She pursed her lips.
"What other movies y'got?"
