Latte got a blissful expression and gave a soft hum. Oh, chocolate and coffe, such a lovely combination! Maybe some day she should share her recipe for biscotti... oh, she'd love to buy some real macarons! Yes, yes, Candy would be a good friend to have for more reasons than just companionship!

"That sounds like an amazing combination," the phony finally nodded. She sipped her tea thoughtfully in response to the question posed and one ear flopped down to the side.

"Hmm, that's a tough one," Latte decided, her ear returning to its usual place, "Truth be told, I love building things. Adding cream, flavorings, steaming, pressure... all the fun stuff! I don't think I'm best at any one thing, but maybe some day." She smiled and nodded. It made sense to have a shop specialty! She had better come up with one...

Candy's face went equally slack as she imagined cherries and chocolate, strawberries dipped in white chocolate....

Her mind snapped back to reality when the brown phony spoke again. She had never thought about food or drinks as being built. When she made food, it was ...well made. Or cooked. But upon further thinking, Candy supposed that food could be built as well.

"It's interesting that you said that food is built. I've never thought about it, but I guess when I make my baskets I have to build them more than bake them or cook them." Sometimes it took a bit of time, and a lot of patience. Especially when the pieces were delicate.

"Well whatever you do to make these drinks, they are delicious!" She finished off her mocha with a lip smack, enjoying the last bit of warmth in her stomach from the caffeinated beverage.

"I think you build more than me!" Latte nodded, still nursing her own drink, "and I'm glad you like it. The first drink is free for new customers! I'll need to visit your shop for sure! I promise to not buy anything until you're less busy, though." She nearly giggled but instead just grinned. A stallion and his filly arrived then and Latte turned.

"Oh, hello!" she offered to the new customer, who was in fact brand-new as well, "It was a pleasure talking to you, Candy! I live just up there, so visit any time!" She gestured to the ceiling and then, with their goodbyes said, scampered back behind the counter as another couple entered.

"Feel free to ask if you have any questions!" And so it began again.

We can probably call it done after Candy says her goodbyes! Latte would have waited and not run off, of course. :3

Latte had to get back to work, and Candy beamed as she took her leave.

"It was great talking to you too! I'll be sure to come back and see you again! And thanks for the free drink." She made her way to the door as the other mare was greeting her other customers. Over the shoulder, Candy smiled and said "I'll be sure to give you some free samples of my stuff too!" before wandering out of her new favorite coffee shop with a smile and hum.
