"Yes draw magic would be useful. he said as he started walking to the station with his hands in his pocket and his staff between his armpit. "I'm still puzzled though Flan don't really travel outside of the forest so what in the world are they doing here... (I might need to look into this when we get back) he continued to walk coming to a slow jog then turning into a run when he heard screams coming from the station Double time it cadets! he said looking back then turning around to burst into a sprint toward the station.

*:The Chocobo’s Wrath:* As a crashed car door opened up, Jeffery climbed out of the car and took a look around the place. Traces of blue like slime were left behind, he had seen this before. ‘Slimes, more correctly, Flans. What are they doing out in the city?’ thought Jeff as he quickly reached into his pockets and equipped the leather gloves he had gotten, his usual attire was slightly scratched and torn up but that didn’t matter. Clothes could be replaced easily, but first he had a job to do. Looking back in the car, he saw two men knocked out with his new bag of belongings. Taking it with the knowledge that it was his academy outfit, he placed it on his back and closed the door. If any Fran’s were near, they were coming for him soon. Looking around the area for a Fran, he slowly moved his body to look for any pain or problems. He was good for battle, hopefully he would only be facing one Fran soon.

*:The Chocobo’s Wrath:* With no sounds in the area, it became clear that the place was secure against any and all fran’s for now. This made Jeff sigh in relief, knowing that the fran’s may have already passed the area… but the mystery was still there. Why were the frans here? They were usually near water and sewers, to be in the streets were odd. ‘Were they summoned? Did they flee from something in the sewers?’ Thought Jeff before he heard some loud noises in the distance, it sounded like fighting. He was going to investigate this fighting himself, but he had something he needed to do first. Going through the bag that was full of stuff, he took the money and placed it inside so that he would not lose it. Clearly it was a safe place and the men in the car were still out of it, making this the perfect place. Opening the car door, Jeff placed the bag back inside the car before he closed it. With his school outfit and money safe, Jeff rushed to the sounds of battle. [[Exit]]

*:The Chocobo’s Wrath:* Returning to the gas station area, he walked out of the alleyway. Suddenly he would look around for any traces of more frans, he even looked up at the buildings. It was clear by this point that he was alone again, but he wanted to test himself against a fully healed fran. All he needed was to face one, but he faced a weak one. Looking back even, Jeff then made a break for the car. Getting close and opening the door, Jeff looked around inside. He could not tell if they were still inside or not, but Jeff claimed his backpack and his pouch. More money seemed to be in it now than it did awhile back, regardless he was preparing for anything.

*:The Chocobo’s Wrath:* Closing the door on the wrecked car, Jeffery looked around and started walking. But after a few steps, he stopped in his tracks as slime dropped to the ground. A fran had jumped and landed on him, it was also sliding threw him too. With his eyes closed and unable to breath, Jeff placed his hands on the fran’s gel and started to push up. Lifting the fran up over his head slightly, he then took the liberty throwing the fran down in front before delivering a powerful punch at it. As it slid back 10 feet, Jeffery raised his hands to his eyes and cleaned the slime off his face. He could finally see and breath, but he smiled as he got ready for a battle. Flan X was thrown that ten feet, and it plopped on the ground with a dull 'sploosh' sound. It took some time to recover but when it did it fixed itself from the splooshed position which could somehow possibly count as it being prone. Its eyes rearranged so that it was looking back towards the boy, the toothy smile breaking across its gelatinous face. It was much larger than the standard Flan, that was for certain. This fran was bigger than the other that he had seen earlier, could it be a more advance form? Or were they becoming more powerful? Regardless, Jeff smiled to himself before he was thrown back by the sludge attack. Great, his movements had slow down but he was not as badly injured. With this development, Jeff smiled as he slowly started to make his way to the fran again. They were both smiling now, But jeff was confident. So he charged the fran as best as he could, jumping as the large fran to grapple it. Balling his hand into a fist, he would punch at the fran’s face. This was personal now, He wanted this challenge to test himself. When Jeff tried to grapple the creature he would find it most peculair that he could not get a good grip on it. The body of the flan seemed to be too slippery, too slimey, and his fingers slid right through the gelatinous creature's forehead. Would you say these creatures had a forehead? Its piercing sickly looking eyes gazed up at him before it shifted its face so that the boy's fist was in it's teeth rimmed mouth. *:The Chocobo’s Wrath:* Watching as the events were unfolding, this one seemed to be too slimy to grasp onto. But this made it the perfect opportunity, until he saw something he didn’t want to see. The Boss Fran was getting smart on him, as it’s body morphed again. It’s eyes staring at him as the teeth of the Flan bit down on the boy’s arm, hissing in pain before looking over at the arm. Stopping it with his other hand, Jeff knew he took some good damage… but a smile creped onto his face. Pulling his hand out of the fran’s mouth, he turned his fist into a palm. Looking the fran in the eyes, he knew the sludge was over… slowness was no longer a problem. He needed to make some distance, this was a perfect way to recharge mana too. Striking the fran with his palm, he started to focus on the recovery. He needed all his strength for this one. (( The dice rolls on this flan are ridiculous. I keep getting a 16 or higher. He's one smart and tough cookie.)) The Flan shook his gelatinous body, looking as if he was dancing with joy. Even after being thrown like a paper sack, the thing is still ready for fight. It looked as if it took in air and grew a bit due to this action. Then it opened it's mouth and growled, exhaling large high speed bubbles towards Jeffery. After this, there was a sudden glow of green around it, it seemed to have cast Shell upon itself. *:The Chocobo’s Wrath:* Jeff watched as the fran was sent sliding back 10 feet, this was good but it was going to be his worst mistake. Why was it dancing with joy? It was clear to his that this was either one lucky fran, or it was indeed a boss. Watching it grow bigger, Jeff didn’t have much time as it show the bubbles at him fast. Blocking them as best as he could, jeff was being assaulted before he could rest. He had taken a lot of damage, too much damage even. But then again, he was facing a boss like fran. Watching as a green aura surrounded the fran, Jeff closed his eyes as aura seemed to start flowing through him. Opening his eyes at look at the fran, It’s defeat was assured now. He didn’t want to use this combo, but he needed to defeat this boss. If the fran didn’t interrupt, it would die the next turn. Finally face to face with the fran, He started delivering a series of punches and kicks that mimicked a chocobo’s style. The Flan's eyes widen when the boy advanced this time, and it sustained heavy blows from the quick punches of the boy. It wiggled as it was hit like some sort of blow up punching back, when it suddenly shrunk in on itself. Balling into itself before suddenly bursting out at Jeffery with great force. It did this again, in quicker succession, shoving Jeffery back five feet. "Saaaayaaanaara." It hissed out as it seemed to seep down into the ground...? Upon further inspection it had wormed its gelatinous way into a sewer grate and was now retreating into the sewers! Quote: Blue Flan X "MINI BOSS"?
