Squall took a step back, sweeping his blade to the tendril of an arm that swatted at him, parrying the arm away from him before it could strike. Completing the movement as he turned the innocent defense move into an attack itself. The blade of the weapon slicing through the gelatinous muck that made up the slimy tendril that had tried to slap him. Yeah he wasn't taking none of that s**t.
