 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
The Hall of the Ancients was grand, tall and mad eof white stone, it was the first major room that anyone entered upon reaching the great city that was Skyfall. The only entrance besides that of the skies was adjacent to the Angel Bridge, where the great white double doors remained open at all times during the day. Within the great hall were marble figures carved in the columns and the walls, past successors of the Injustira Syndicate. In the centre of the room there was a fissure in the reality of space, the very air pulsated with energy before a tear of blue light turned into a slowly spinning oval. It spat out Ruby first, who was then quickly followed by Laxion. The two of them placed their feet down firmly on the stone floor as Laxion took a deep breath. It was still bright here in Skyfall, probably because the majority of the clouds were below them. Fromt his great hall Laxion could see countless passageways and spiral staircases leading up or down into countless other corridors, halls, and sections of the city.
Hearing a thud behind him, Laxion found Kyne on the floor, almost taking in the splendours of the marble with an extra close look... "uh..." the elemental said. "Kyne?". He then indirectly spoke to Ruby whilst still looking down at Kyne. "I think that's his first time..." with an unsure expression on his face. This was Laxion's first portal in a while, he ha trained with only a couple short distance ones at that in the army, admittedly he certainly felt a sensation in his stomach but it was like a roller coaster for him now. Portals were rare for people to use, mostly because of how much time and effort they take to create, more so to tame them and lock them into the parchment of an enchanted scroll.

Ruby
Much like Alice, Ruby entered the rabbit hole, in this case portal, and ended up in the hall of the praised leaders. The Hall of the Ancients was the celebration the team attended to receive eulogized words from authorities of the Injustira Syndicate. The white marbled interior had lost its magnificent luster because this time Alexis was no longer with them. More memories she wished to repress, however, the space of emptiness could be filled with a new member. Adjusting her balance, Laxion projected through the portal but landed with grace. They had used a passage like that since Alexis left but the feeling of the travel was still natural. Kyne Embers though didn't have the experience of the Daywalker and Elemental. Instead, the burly red head immediately collapsed on the unforgiving floor and possibly was ready to faint. When they entered it should have been a demonstration of how to handle the sudden rush of motion, but maybe he assumed the scenario would work best if he preformed it his own way?
The parchment disappeared which indicated to them that they would have to find their own route back. Not a huge deal considering they always had an number of options at their disposal. Laxion obviously pointed out the flaw with Kyne's experiences with portal travel and the girl proceeded to accommodate him. She grabbed his muscular appendage and eased it over her shoulders and then with all her strength she tried to lift him off the ground. The snow skinned, red eyed female may look weak, but Laxion and everyone else that came in contact with her learned not to underestimate her. Glancing down a collaboration of halls and corridors that seemed to represent a labyrinth, she contemplated on where to go from there. Turning to her partner, she stated, "You lead."

Ruby helped Kyne off the floor. Thank you. I am not familiar or accustomed to this method of travel. The floor beneath his feet had begun to calm down as he knodded in confirmation to Laxion. Kyne dusted off his chest with his free hand, wondering how this little girl could lift his weight so easily. Half way up, his senses were returning and he was already supporting himself. Looking around to absorb the magnificence of this giant building of white stone. Where are we? The place seemed great in it's time, but now an empty shell. His voice echoed the wide empty halls. The ceiling and walls adorned with carvings and statues of great warriors and leaders. Great history recorded here, battles won and conquered. The energy here was enough to make Kyne cautious. He slows his breathing and listens closely, not sure if anyone else was here, but there was something. The echo finally dies out as the silence intensifies into a high pitched nothing. Kyne's eyes close.(Monster battle anyone?)

 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
((You know, that sounds like a very good idea right now, i think Tuna will agree too xD))
With the portal sealing closed behind them it felt like they had been placed in the middle of no where, presuming by how quiet and lonely they were in here. Where were all the Paladins and Peacekeepers? Oh yeah, Laxion then remembered the Syndicate is a tranquil place and the guards are often patrolling rather than staying put, it would be a different story at the Jewel Tower however. The Injustira Syndicate, the keeper of the found Jewels, the bringers of law and justice. "We're at Skyfall" Laxion said " ((I just had the biggest revelation, EVER. When i bring it into the story i do not know yet however...)). "The capital of the Injustira Syndicate" he then paused as he looked around for someone that could pin-point Lucas for them.
Luckily, then came a Peacekeeper in his pure white robes and pure white plate on his shoulders and chest, shins and feet and wrists. He held a large polearm with several light blue orbs in the blade. "May i help you?" he asked, sounding young and majestic. "We're looking for Lucas, we're L-" "We know who you are, him however" Laxion looked over to where the Peacekeeper gestured and found Kyne at the other side, the elemental left it for Kyne to reply.
Afterwards however, the Peacekeeper finally revealed "Lucas Purevelion is still flying the Lightcleaver from the library of Kuj'anast. He should be arriving shortly". He then went down one of the spiral staircases that vanished into the walls. Laxion sighed, and right then and there there was a strange sound that something ethereal was gathering around them. The shadows, what little there were of them began to crawl along the floor and surrounded Kyne, Laxion and Ruby in a circle. These shadows then grew from the ground upwards into weird, prowling creatures much like the Fallen that Laxion and Ruby battled months ago, but these were different. Nyru watched as these black creatures formed skin, the darkest of kinds, and their eyes like abyssal sockets. Then across their chests, this is what defined them from the others, they had a massive X scarred across them, and just to top it off, their eyes began to glow with an orange light. "Not these guys again!" Laxion shouted, pulling out his spear as it extended to full length, presuming they were what they had battled before, but he was wrong.
((P.S. Laxon and Kyne won't be able to successfully hit these guys, unfortunately. Next post however i'll change that. ))

Ruby
Kyne was able to retain his posture himself and brushed the invisible dirt off his wardrobe. Like many obvious questions Embers wanted know exactly where they landed and before Ruby could answer Laxion beat her to it. The area was desolate, however, the sudden appearance of a peacekeeper catch her off guard. He assumed a pure essential being dress in the expensive armor and white attire. Her comrade wasn't aware that this man could be distracting them or a simple imposter because she was sure the blue robed magi had arrived here way before they did. Scarlot might have been sent her and is incarcerated in one of the many rooms or possibly a dungeon. The girl didn't imagine that the supreme Capital of the Injustira Syndicate to show a small gesture of mercy to the brunette. After all, she is the sibling to a scared singer that could have one of the jewels in bedded in her chest similar to Ruby.
The figure wasn't keen on Kyne's appearance, but the famous Team Exiler was an exception. Coincidentally, Lucas was boarded on Lightcleaver headed to this destination at the moment so all the group had to do was wait. An easy task, but unfortunately dark shadowy creatures were attached to them. The eclipsing creatures collaborated around them trapping the three in a constricted area waiting for the precise moment to strike. Laxion assumed they were the same monsters as the Fallen since their exterior looked the same, but the albino had a felling that this threat was more sinister.
Her guns were unleashed and the girl wasted no time to proceed with her attack by firing several bullets in random locations. Some of the bullets shifted through the transparent figures while other grazed them slightly. Placing the twin pistols together, the crystal mythril blade mechanized and Ruby lunged forward. The adolescent creations didn't stand a stand against her brute strength and skills. Hopefully, Laxion and Kyne could fend themselves because its been quiet a while since the elemental held his spear.

Kyne shifted his weight and pivoted to face the young mage. The man had asked him a question as if he was the only uninvited guest. Where is the girl?!. Before, Kyne could get his hands on the stranger however, with a smirk the man vanishes in a magic similar to the assassins' entrance. This had been a trap and the enemy had known of our arrival somehow. He reached and grabbed empty air.Shadows had begun to form shapes, Kyne dashed backward to regroup. He followed the barrels of Ruby's guns to discover they are already trained on several enemies at once. She discharges a couple shots to reveal they had been surrounded by thick shadows so quickly and silently. Monsters of some evil construct. The bullets hardly effected the creatures as they passed through most of the shadow. All except those few that scrapped or penetrated the cores of these shadows. Large holes gave those that where damaged a reason to fall.As the shapeless figures began to collapse, Kyne dashed towards the nearest target with great speed. Release Heat A palm thrust forcing it into the ceiling by the force of a miniture white hot pop. Spinning quickly, he catches another shadow in the midsection with a knee, sending it flying into a small group of them as an explosive fireball.

 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
((hmmm, i'm going to hold back on the new plot idea until after we've finished with this hopefully short plot of rescuing Lilly and Lottie! But these mobs are part of it)).
Suddenly feeling very constrained, Laxion could only see the three of them being pummelled by them, but Ruby had already let loose some bullets on them, and though they were very sneaky she managed to take out one or two. Next was Kyne to attack, his fighting style was very robust, it was powerful with hard hitting combos. Seeing the fire was like an alert signal to Laxion, watching as the other two got the battle on her swallowed and focused. These creatures were different, he didn't like the way they moved in a still stance, almost like they were rocking side to side and trying to keep as low to the floor as possible.
With a flick of his thumb, the tip of his spear shot off like a propelled rocket followed by a metal chain. The tip of the spear penetrated through one of the creature's chests, and when he thought he'd killed it, the creature side stepped and was free from his chain, but at the expense of a tear in its body. It seemed they could reshape with ease but it would take them a little time to heal over again. Then speed it was, and great power too. Pulling his spear round the long chain and spearhead swung round and sliced passed some other creatures before the spear was one weapon again. They were fast, and they kept flattening themselves into the floor!
Now, Laxion really wished he had been wearing his armour, this leather jacket and black jeans weren't going to protect him much. Feeling a sudden slash down his back he twisted round to find one of the creatures with long and sharp fingers, they were retracting now but Laxion gave it no time to run as he pulled his spare hand into him, air sucking the creature back like gravity as the air elemental thrust his spear forwards and through the back of it's chest. This time, it stayed down and evaporated, it's glowing orange eyes dying like a strangled flame. Getting fed up, Laxion realised he'd have to kill a few of these things in one go, whilst Kyne was burning his opponents and Ruby shooting them in places that hurt, the elemental spun his spear around several times before thrusting it upwards. With it, a pulse of air thrust outwards along the floor as several of the creatures fell over and were dragged along the marble floor, bringing his spear down with a heavy strike the air sucked them back into towards him as he swiped horizontally, levitating them up aggressively as he let loose several lightning fast slices around him. Finishing, the sliced and diced creatures fell to the floor before also evaporating.
There were many of them, some seemingly still appearing from where ever they come from, flat blobs turning to black figures and orange glowing eyes with X's scarred on their chests. Even more so, they had a focus on Ruby, some trying to distract the two men so the others could get to Ruby easier.

Ruby
Their new addition to Team Exlier introduced his adroitness in an exuberance display. He had an ego to match his insanely ripped body after all and Ruby assumed he was a teddy bear inside. However, his pyrotechnics wouldn't up stage her and her cliche arsenal of choice. Kyne and Laxion something rely to heavily upon their magic skills instead of balancing their strength and stamina like her. Like Alexis, the albino had inherited the responsibility for being reliable for her teammates faults, if they ever had any that is. She wanted to feel like she could contribute more to the group considering she was the only female left, but equal or more so to the males. The young child had a spark in her chest, literally but it wasn't triggered at the moment. Maybe escaping from the summit was the antidote because she wasn't repressed to conceal whom she truly was. When this battle is over, she would have to notify Laxion of the wonder new if it may hinder his previous thoughts. Leaving the monks, Entei, and Lucas behind was her idea and eventually they would catch up with her.
The elemental swung his spear freely impaling one shadowy creature on the first shot. The adversaries possessed a unique ability to regenerate slowly and this wasn't even their complication. The three were out numbered and she had a gut instinct that they were trying to gradually deplete their energy. Laxion wouldn't take the shadows nonsense and overloaded his attack by taking out at least ten of them at once. The enemy was equally successful for inflicting a deep abrasion on Laxion's back. The street attire wasn't protective armor and the two probably regretted returning to the apartment to get their belongings. Ruby was starting to miss the blade armored dress specifically designed to her measures and taste.
The army was in casing the trio and more and more crowded around her. Gliding her sword vertically and horizontally to tear the creatures in half wasn't effective in the slightest. She endorsed deep wounds, nicks, and bruises as she hacked her way through the horde. A orange eyed monster catapulted in front of her, and with one quick action through one line of the X, it wasn't able to save itself. Like her comrades opponents, they evaporated into nothing as others tried to faze into the ground below them. The creations must have devices this because upon her distraction the little beast piled on top of her. The girl let out a muffled call of distress as the creatures smothered her and she felt like she was suffocating.
They weighted a ton for small sized vermin and as the female struggled her chest began to react to her predicament. The vibrate white glow broke through the cracks between the complied bodies. Ruby was completely flattened before, but now she was on her knees pushing upwards. The jewel reacted more to her aggression against the enemies and suddenly a sonic boom ruptured from her. The shadows were send flying so weren't not fortunate to survive the blast of blinding light. After the light had faded, Ruby laid on the ground unconscious.

He spun and dropped down his heel on another with tremendous force but the creature simply flattened out into a shadow, causing him to crack the stone floor. Kyne could hardly effect them with fast fist combos alone, so he added a bit of his explosive fire thaumaturgy. He kept the detonations strong enough to cause serious damage, but contained enough so it would not suck the oxygen from the indoors chamber or possibly ignite one his new battle buddies. Kyne was focused. Many of the shadows suddenly diverted their forces from Laxion and Kyne to ambush Ruby. Laxion was fending off many at once while Kyne did his best to control the shadow population, but they where fighting mere pawns in another abduction scheme. Ruby! She had become consumed in the masses. He tried to break free from his targets, but simply turning his back would leave him open to a dangerous attack as Laxion had already endured. He could slowly fight his way towards her through the shadow horde. Before he could reach her though, a blinding light expanded under the mass and sent the shadows flying. Ruby lay unconcious on the floor, leaving her defenseless from the swarm that continued in her direction. Kyne worked his way closer to finally pick her up and bring her closer to Laxion hopeing she was alright.

 Laxion Greenleath Asmodius Corps
As things became more dire, Laxion was hopign something would happen soon to save them, he didn't like being faced up against monsters of the unknown, he hated being clueless, he liked to know what to expect. Before he could consider taking on the next swarm he saw how they all fluently moved directions, it was like they could all speak to each other silently amongst the chittering sounds of their footsteps. It was like trying to look into a gust of wind as he turned round to face a pile consuming Ruby, for a second he felt his heart stop, and then seeing the concern from Kyne was almost like a cushion, knowing he wasn't alone. But then Ruby freed herself, her own power seeping through the cracks to send the creatures flying.
But she was left unconscious. That wasn't something they needed right now as more of the creatures kept coming. Using his spear to fend off one or two, he couldn't stop them all, especially as they could just flatten themselves like shadows on the floor and get passed him! But that was when a mystery figure came back. From a blue, bursting bubble came a blue-hooded figure with seemingly long blonde hair, she had a long blue cloak and a metallic scythe with a glowing blue crystal just below the attachment for the blade. She held her scythe up high as the crystal glowed and the creatures seemed to be attracted to it, quickly diverting themselves towards her as she ignored Kyne and Laxion. When they got close enough magical blue runes covered the floor surrounding her as they were frozen in time, Laxion gasped as she beheaded almost every single one in a clean swiping action before vanishing in a similar magical stunt, the same as when she appeared.
Pulling a shocked expression, LAxion gasped when the mystery girl vanished and left them alone. "What?" he exclaimed, then remembering Ruby as he ran over to her to check how she was, pulling up her head onto his lap, he wasn't sure what to say.
"Laxion?!" came a young yet sophisticated man's voice "What's going on?" the mystery man asked, standing beneath the giant archway into the hall, the sunlight behind him making him a robed silhouette.

Ruby
The albino's ears were ringing and could make out certain muffles around her. For instance, Kyne's voice is very recognizable because of his deep vocals and since of gentleness. His muscles didn't crush the small child like a nutcracker as he rescued her from the horde. However, his enormous weight from supporting his ripped structure made the rid less conformable. Plus the threat of the shadowy creatures was still an issue and he couldn't aim at them accurately if he was lugging her around. With their own communicate, they would be ambushing the two any minute because for reasons unknown they seemed rather interested in her in particular. Could it be the jewel infused in her body that attracts their attention so influentially? If that's the case, why do they hunger for it exactly? Does it nutritious and sustain their bodily shape and form? Does it give them the necessary energy to raise them to the next level of combat? So many questions on monsters the team seemed to always encounter, but never is able to examine their adversaries.
A curved blade colliding with the creatures catch Ruby's ears and she remembered the similar sound. The feeling the warm yet chaotic arcane magic releases whenever it was exhibited by the one person they cherished most. "Alexis." The girl breathed in her semi-unconscious state as she tried to focus her tired eyes open. A glimpse of their long lost companion would satisfy her enough to know that she hadn't disappeared from their lives forever. If she was awake and her sense in contact, her first reaction would be to get as close to the woman as possible and hope that her friend would notice her in return. Unfortunately, like her last appearance after freezing the enemy in their tracks, she vanished without so much as a farewell.
The red head pyrotechnic user lay the girl on the ground probably after the shocking display, Laxion aided her. He rested her one his lap and checked her vital signs frantically before a voice eluded him from her. The albino regained some kind of stable state and slowly arched her body forward. "Laxion, what happened?" Her curiosity of the similar male's voice diverted her attention for her friend and unimportant questionnaire. They were in trouble and Ruby proceeded to stand up in her weakened composure, waiting for the figure to become acquainted with them because at the moment he was shrouded in shadows.

A suprise attack from the strange girl was welcomed, as she cut down a very large population of the shadowswith a viscious looking scythe. Then as Ruby began to recover with Laxion's support, another mage appears out of nowhere. Was this all staged to give these newcomers a good appearance and gain our trust? They were veiled from his soulgaze, which made him question them further. He was still on full alert as the shadows backed away but remained in the vicinity watching closely. Where they afraid or simply regrouping their strength? Kyne backed away from all parties equally. Why are these individuals so well informed and aquainted with one another? How did the shadows arrive just as we did? Why was I the only one questioned by the young stranger? These folks had better start explaining the series of coincidences before Kyne decided he wasthe real one in danger, and was only recruited to be watched closely. The skin on his arm grew slightly scaley which he tucked behind his cloak.

 Lucas Purevelion
Laxion sighed with relief when Ruby stirred and tried to help prop her up so she could see properly. Then he went to check on Kyne as he looked up, but Kyne was a fair distance away from him. "Kyne?" he asked, just then as the other familiar voice spoke up from the entryway. It was Lucas Purevelion, the man that got the original Team Elixer together last year, they hadn't seen him in several months. "Lucas?" Laxion then exclaimed. The long white-haired male then stepped in further towards the middle of the room as he asked "What happened here?". Laxion wasn't sure where to start, there were too many questions, for Lucas to answer for them in general and more particular one's as to where he has been all this time.
"W-we were attacked, by black things like the ones before" Laxion exclaimed, meanwhile Lucas had stopped a few feet away from Kyne and gave him a respectful nod before replying to Laxion. "Fallen? They should not be able to step foot here, it's hallowed ground, by power of the Angels." "But they were here" Laxion protested, helping Ruby to her feet. "I, Ruby and Kyne just fought them off, where are all the Peacekeepers?!" "That's a very good question." Lucas replied "Some will be in the Halls of Absolution with Valorius, the High Court has gathered for a meeting, no leaders will be present in their cities right now". Laxion only half accepted this, the Halls of Absolution was factually a place where only the leaders knew where it was, but why weren't any Peacekeepers here? They are the guards of Skyfall. And then, just by coincidence several came round from the main archway. Lucas turned quickly and questioned them, clearing his throat and then asking "May i ask why exactly the halls have been left unattended?", the Peacekeepers then gave a sign of respect to Lucas as they sternly replied "There was an anomaly in the White Towers, Purevelion" "That gives no reason for the heart of our city to be undefended, i don't care if you're low in numbers for the hour but i want every exit and entrance guarded, anything comes up then you stick to your own parameter" "By the Order, Purevelion" one replied, rushing off to let the other Peacekeepers know.
That was the first time Laxion heard Lucas take on such a role, he knew that Lucas was high up in the Syndicate, but not that high up the hierarchy. Sighing, Lucas turned to Kyne and said "i'm very sorry, Kyne, if you don't mind me calling you by that name, and you too, Laxion and Ruby.". He believed them so easily, Laxion was almost surprised. Lucas was perhaps the first to treat Kyne nicely too, but that was part of Lucas' personality, he was kind and equal to anyone and everyone until they gave him reason to act otherwise. "You seem confused" he then said, facing Kyne. "I'm Lucas Purevelion, i presume you've met Laxion and Ruby already. I am in charge of Skyfall whilst Valorius is attending the halls, and I'm responsible for pairing Ruby and Laxion up, we've known eachother some time now. As for your encounter" he looked over to Ruby and Laxion. "I've no idea how minions of the Underworld got here, i'll see to it it doesn't happen again..." he then cocked a brow. "Why are you three here?"

Ruby
Laxion further assisted Ruby by fully erecting her as Lucas Purevelion stepped out of the shadows. His long white hair that cascaded down his back swayed with his precise movements as he made his way towards the group. He asked what was going on, but in all honest he should have the dignity to tell them where he had been all this time. Anyway, apparently the dark creatures they battled were able to materialize on holy ground. Although, that isn't possible unless a powerful entity or object was dominating that aura in which case the monsters flocking to her would make since or a simple coincidence. Plus the peacekeepers were not posted at their stations so it was easily for the tainted demonic creatures to rear their ugly heads. However, Lucas would have that unaware behavior continue in this building, so when some peacekeepers did come along they were commanded to return to their assigned positions.
The reason why security was so disorganized was because all the leaders were summoned to the Halls of Absolution by Valorious, an important authority figure she supposed. That and some kind of anomaly in the White Towers which she suspected could be another one of the creatures invading a section of the facility. The angelic instructor introduced himself to Kyne formally since no one else seemed to want to treat him the way he deserved to be treated. He gave a quick explanation to what his role is in Team Exiler's relationship status. Finally, he got to the real mysterious as to why the three were standing in the middle of the halls arbitrary. The albino wanted to answer, but was she going to say to him. These magi kidnapped a girl they just met and her sibling had ice powers because she may or may not have part of the Omnijewel in her chest. I have one to, the white jewel, isn't it grand! Sure, that won't give the man a damn heart attack on the spot.
"Trust us. Okay?" That's all she could say to him. The girl glanced down in shame as she inched away wondering if he would react a similar way like Entei if he found out the truth. She bit her lip in fear of rejection as she looked to Laxion for advise. The girl didn't realize that the jewel was already illuminating dulling from her fearful emotions.
