For once in her life Avari was content and happy. Keeping pace beside Varian she found herself chatting aimlessly about anything that came to mind. What she'd been up to while he was gone, the things she had managed to find in the mountains when she was roaming alone. It was as if everything was in a haze of happiness and the world consisted of nothing but her and the stallion at her side. After yesterday he seemed to be in nothing but high-spirits, and she wasn't sure if it was simply her being glad to travel with him again after so long or if the feeling of bliss was simply a run-off from his own emotions through their bond. As it was she didn't care, after the nights of sleep riddled with nightmares on her own she found herself simply happy to have him around. Great Mother forgive her, she still felt deeply for the stallion beside her. Yet even then she care not for the promise she had made so many nights ago when she first left their small forest home. For she finally felt at home regardless of the destination they were heading towards.
So when he turned them from the path to walk off towards an orchard she tilted her head curiously as she followed a few steps behind them as her gaze went off in the direction the path continued down for a moment before turning to find him grabbing some apples. "Something wrong?" She wondered softly as she took the apple gently from his mouth and set to eating the delicious fruit while her eyes looked him over. What could he have possibly not told her? Brows pulling together in confusion, she stared at him without a thought for a few moments after he'd spoken. Had she heard him correctly? Ears flicking back at his joyous whinny, she turned to follow his prancing as she stood there stunned. "W-what?" Avari's voice was soft and breathy as she felt his nose gently touch her side. This wasn't possible. "Varian, are you sure?" Eyes wide she felt her emotions cycle through everything they could, but the confusion always returned with her fear resting just behind it. Yet even so a smile graced her lips. He was so happy that she couldn't help the feeling seeping into her very being. She'd never imagined something like this happening.
"I.. I can't believe it." Gazing up at him she heard a quiet chiming giggle leave her, foals. How strange! Shaking her mane she moved close to nuzzle softly at his neck before stepping back and staring up at him, her eyes shining with the happiness that had overrun her fear in this moment. Perhaps it was the way her day had started or the deep sense of ease her stallion gave her, but her mind simply cycled though anything that could pop up, what would they look like? How many? Would they grow up well? Giving a shake of her head she drew in a deep breath and let it out in a quiet huff. Brows pulling together she shook out her make again before letting out another quiet laugh. "Varian I don't really know how to raise foals though."
