Sour Aftertaste
Dionysus climbed through the window to his room, and immediately dropped his henshin. He didn't have the energy for it anymore. He barely had the energy to flop face first onto his bed and groan. It... It was just all gone. The last couple of hours had completely drained him.
The last few hours... He couldn't believe he'd done that. Well... he could, in some sense, but he couldn't believe he'd gone as far as he had. How could he have yelled at her like that... Said those things... Fought her like that...
It had all gone down hill so fast. He didn't mean for it to happen like that. Dionysus honestly just wanted to see her, but instead, all he could see was her uniform, and what she wasn't instead of just seeing her. He'd gone from being unsure to angry in a matter of seconds. He wasn't even totally sure why he was angry. Was it because Persephone had gone from Order, to a Corrupt... and then back, only to become a Dark Mirror? Was he mad because she'd left them again? Left him. ...Was Derek mad at her? Or was he mad at himself. That he did nothing to help her, and instead just stood back and watched. Just like he had accused Seph of doing... with everything. Derek truly had no clue of anything Persephone had gone through in her time as a senshi, and he hadn't bothered to give her the chance to tell him that. Instead, he just threw her under the bus like she was a piece of trash.
Then he stood there and made demands. Threatening her to stay away from both himself, and Aludra. That she'd regret it if she didn't listen to him. Aludra was going to mad with him as it was... He hadn't told the young chibi that he'd planned to track her down. Let alone to talk to her. So once she knew of what he'd done? Derek sighed, rolling over. One hand was run through his hair, palm resting on his forehead as the other lay listlessly across his waist. He didn't even want to think of what Aludra would have to say about this. What she'd have to say to him, if anything.
They had been friends once... Almost like siblings. Why did that have to change? Why did he have to do what he did. The young teen wondered what he could do to fix this. He wondered if he actually wanted to fix this. If he wanted that relationship back between Persephone and himself. He would have to talk to Ane, either way. He couldn't keep this from her. Not when he knew she was just as worried about Persephone as he had been once. Maybe she could show him the path he should have taken with all of this.
