Olivia mouthed the word once more, letting it sink in a little more. It was sad, especially hearing what it meant and to her new friend. The ghoul had never lost anyone in that sense, but she'd seen the pain it could cause and was now learning of a new reaction to such things in such short order.
"That sounds terrible," in a similar manner as she had seen with others when trying to bring comfort to those they knew, Olivia reached out and rested her hand upon the other ghoul's shoulder and gave her a curt little nod, "I wish you luck with your revenge." Even if she didn't sound exactly thrilled or cheerful about it. Revenge was one of those heavy words, one she really didn't like too much nor that she wished upon anyone (Olivia liked the idea of everyone getting along after all). But this was Jil's brother and the ghoul needed encouragement.
This was also a new thing about those white coated creeple, perhaps they were really not that friendly and.... bad.

Jil didn't quite know how to respond to the sympathy in Olivia's voice. It wasn't something she'd ever heard back at home. Sadness wasn't even much of a consideration. Vengeance was always the option. Anger and payback. "Thank you..." She said almost unsure. "If you are interested in fighting back." Against what? Anything really. She smiled a little at the wight. "Perhaps I could help you."

What she could be fighting back against, Olivia was unsure about. Usually it was heat of the moment type stuff, things that threatened friends at that time and nothing too planned in advanced; most of the time since well, her mind didn't linger on such thoughts as they settled back into status quo and better things. But it was a very nice offer, something a friend would do as well and Olivia liked that.
"I would like that," she nodded, finally pulling her hand off the ghoul's shoulder, "if anything ever comes up, I will be sure to ask you." If ever. But, who knew really. She didn't, nor of what else to say. So, she just simply smiled.

Xaejil finally moved away from Olivia when the ghoul's hand left her shoulder. She hopped back to her feet and straightened, giving the other a sharp-toothed smile. "Would you be interested in fighting now?" She made tiny fists and waved them like an old-timey boxer. "Sparring? I think I may explore the gymnasium."

Olivia's blackened hand fell back to her lap as Jil pulled away and to her feet. She was going to be losing company it seemed, a sad little notion but it didn't show upon her face as she simply fed the other girl a warm smile in compliment of the toothy one she was getting.
Or, maybe she wasn't. Though, it was a very curious offer. "Sparring?" She knew the word for once. "I've never been in one," Her eyes widened a little, perhaps a little excited about the prospect, because yes she'd never been in one and honestly didn't remember the school offered a location for them; again, she'd never been in one. "That seems fun."

Jil grinned again. "I think it's that way." She pointed to the square building she was under the impression was the gym. "Come along.." Jil waved her on. She was looking forward to stretching her muscles and using a bit of FEAR and magic. It was part of her purpose afterall. chirigami Want me to start us a gym battle? I CHOOSE U

Olivia's eyes followed where the Beholder was pointing and nodded. Seemed about right, was about one of the few buildings she had been in - wait, didn't she take an exam in that one? But, this was for a different purpose. Something she hadn't done before and Olivia slid herself from her wall and obediently followed, "alright."iloveyouDIE sorry for the wait - I shall start it in the morning *salute*
