Almualim, The Eldest Blood Dragon, has been dead for several millennium. Prophecy tells of his return through the blood of his ancestor, so some magi from long ago came together and cursed the lineage to never bleed, then formed some guilds or something. Kole's gaze came back into focus from the ziggurat to Mor'laz. He is THE person to bring back to life. He rose his palm as flames licked his finger tips, then balled it into a fist in excitement, imagining the powers he would be granted. Anyone who assisted in the Blood Dragon's return would undoubtedly be gifted with an immeasurable increase in strength. His brother had to be killed for this very reason. Kole could not risk Kyne become some even more powerful annoyance.

"Formed some guilds..." Mor'laz repeated to himself, reminding himself o the guilds which have so much supreme power over Occulas. That was why most Scarred would try and get to the mainland through Bornheiniculate or the Land of Crows... but there luck there was still slim. His attention was brought back to Kole when he said that this dragon was the one to be brought back to life. Mor'laz coul only think to himself how difficult such a feat would be in normal necromatic arts, specifically for a dragon that transcended even the age of humans. It would appear he may have been an ancient nemesis of the elves... or perhaps... he was around even before the elves evolved. Pondering that though, he saw how speaking of such legend made Kole so.... thrilled.

But Mor'laz still wasn't sided with the idea, what if this 'blood dragon' he speaks so fondly about wasn't at all... friendly. "And how do you know that everyone else will agree?" he asked, raising a brow and feeling like perhaps he had outsmarted the man, Mor'laz had even flung his arms out as if to gesture to the rest of the Scarred on Bloodholme. Continuing he said "I for one, know that my fellow Necromancers won't be so quick as to let such a... being... rule our skies"

Almualim does not rule, but gives power to those who stand by the cause. His existence alone was enough to balance the scales between races. Ever since his demise, we Scarred must retreat to this forsaken land. I am sick of those self righteous decrees to "protect" when they hunt and kill our people. It has become a double standard. The aggravation towards both members of Magic and Non-magic Earth, growing in his voice. Even those of no magical lineage had learned to hate and hunt the demon kin. As Kyne makes himself a monument to, the race was not all evil. Children mistaken for imps were brutally murdered in "holy" crusades. They disguise their blood lust which makes them as bad as us. He exhales smoke through his nose in a hmph. Kole crosses his arms, Aren't you tired of being restricted because of our race? Almualim was. A scroll materializes from flames into Kole's hand as he offers it to Mor'laz. The full details are here, but I do not have the patience to recite it all. It was written by the great scholar Zylvanness, so it is very accurate they say.

((Sorry i took so long to reply, getting hard to juggle around all these threads and new additions sweatdrop oh P.S. when i first read this, i was pleased to see my name :3 ))

Kole went on to explain more and more, and this mysterious being was becoming more and more intriguing. He was very true however about the syndicate. "I somewhat agree" and his tone become understand yet... somewhat cunning and mischievous at the same time. "They say that protect and bring justice... while we're sitting here, scorned for our heritage" he snickered, thinking about the demons in Hell. Then a scroll appeared, and he became weary as to whether to accept it or not. "Zy...lvanness" Mor'laz repeated, impressed. Zylvanness was very great... yes... in his time. Then he somewhat... well. Let's just say he had a very great time manipulating the Verdant against the Aether. All in all, he almost achieved his plans for domination and damnation. It made Mor'laz revel in the thoughts of Zylvanness.

Swiping the scroll, he gave Kole a glare and said "Perhaps i may run this by the other Necromancers... we've not had something worth bringing back to life in decades" he chuckled to himself for a moment.

Kole smirked at Mor'laz's reply. He was most definitely a person to bring back to life, he thought to himself. Kole's interest in the conversation sooner than expected when his stomach began to grumble. He quickly grabs it in attempts to muffle the noise, but it continues it low rumble for several seconds. He looks up to Mor'laz in a mix of embarrassment and nonchalance. He had not eaten anything since before his encounter with his brother and was running on empty after regenerating so much damage. He would need to find a place to adequately rest and restore before he could continue his mission in obtaining those gems the guilds keep from the Scarred. I wish it were so simple as to bring it to a group of necromancers and wish it back into being. Had it been so simply I WOULD HAVE MY WINGS! His voice rose without warning to a demonic shout. The thick clouds overhead flew off in all directions until the starry sky was revealed. Please sir, Do not offend his lordship. Kole's eye twitched as he crossed his arms.

Kole gave a strange look and seemed to take hold of his stomach. Mor'laz suspected her was hungry, he'd have to go searching one of the local gatherings for food.

All of a sudden it was as if Kole had been taken over by a demon himself, letting out a fit of anger, obviously he was suffering some ego issues after losing his wings. Mor'laz's empty stare waited for him to calm down, it was such a meagre thing to lose he thought, though the power of flight is quite an exceptional one. The necromancers personally prefer to come together with a greater power and make passage through the underworld to where they must go.

But he was told not to offend. "There's no telling if we'll even have the chance " he said, holding back his emotions.

He let out a slow breath and Kole began to calm as quickly as he was enraged. It must have been all too convenient that the first step to renounce the demonic side was to remove your wings. Kyne must be laughing it up where ever he was. He could feel his sense of accomplishment. Laugh it up, though it will be short lived... Kole thought to himself. He recollected himself in front of the new associate. Are you familiar with this area well enough to navigate out? It has been several years since I last been here. He dusted off himself on both arms and down his chest, while his clothes changes into lighter traveler's garments.

After only a few moments for the two of them to think up of something to do next, Kole was asking about the area, and it made Mor'laz cheaply exhale from under his breath as he looked around the area that were sitting in. "Necrovalley" Mor'laz said, holding up his arms as if to introduce the entire region to Kole, scroll still in his hand. "What would I be if i did not know my way around the land of my people. I presume your from the realm of Hell's Gate?" he asked, he knew many of the necromancers stayed in necrovalley, but most of the scarred, the more battle-ready stayed around Hell's Gate. The once beautiful portal to hell, destroyed at the end of the Burning Invasion when the 3 were defeated.

Yes.. Hell's Gate. I've only read of the Necrovalley in books and scrolls. Mainly of the mysterious magical structures chained to the earth. Kole pointed up to a glowing pillar floating the distance, then crossing his arms and looking back at Mor'laz. I must be returning to my task at hand soon, rot mage. Be out with your request of me or join me. If not, I shall be parting.

(Since the others had the time jump, I thought we could time jump these characters as well to be comrades of some sort and headed to an objective?)

Rúna Ridus

Far beyond the hazy borders of my heart
I can see a place
It's something like this
Every now and then I don't know what to do
Still I know that I
Can never go back

Kee'da was probaby just as excited to be here as Rúna, however she was questioning the safety of these flying machines. Rúna looked over her shoulder at Kee'da beside her, she said "No land between here and Bloodholme..." almost with a sadness that struck her jjust then. There was a good reason for there being an ocean between them, what if there was land. Everyday Occulas laughs in the face of Bloodholme and the Scarred, they may be mindless, but their reckless hrodes can prove a problem if given a leader. The three of them were shortly making their way up into one of Entei's Zeppelins and the captains took no time organising everyone and preparing to leave in just 20 minutes. They were on the ship with the other volunteers, some of them seemed novice, others however seems as skilled or more than Rúna. She observed, one man in particular was under a black cloak, in another corner there were a lone woman with brown bopped hair and a long black sword... she looked like she dressed from the region of Albanoch Desert. What caught Rúna's gaze was the 7 glass daggers spiralling around her oh so slowly. Looking over at another direction she saw a lady with long white hair and a crescent shaped blade, she was pale and were old grey armour. She was basic- no, Rúna was surprised once more, that lady had a glowing white moon on her forehead. Sometimes she forgot just how diverse this world rally was.

The Journey to Bloodholme was shorter than any commercial flight would take, however it got more arduous the closer they got. Even though the black skies never got brighter or darker, the winds picked up and it became a lot warmer than even the deserts in Occulas. They landed on the most north-western tip of Necro-valley, a charred black landscape made fo damp black rocks that often looked like they had been broken from a larger body. There were surprisingly no one around to stop them from landing their ships. Their captain announced "You each have a squadron that you must stick with and follow, the marks now appearing on your hands will show you were to go!". Everyone was then glaring at their hands, and down below were the Elites had already embarked and stepped foot on the surface of Bloodholme they were holding up holographic banners of the symbol each person was given. Rúna, Kee'da, and Kyne were given the mark of an eye surrounded by three dots and three outward pointing lines. Getting to their group, they had three Elites, two Lords and one Lady. It seemed as though they had a couple groups of volunteers as well as a mixture of soldiers from Entie and Asmodius. There were hundreds of them, all lined up across the great cliff that looked over the stormy tide below them. Then there was the sound of a bellowing horn in the distance, at first Rúna thought it was one of the captains... but upon further speculation she found that it was coming from one of the Necromancer Towers not far from here. She heard one of the Elites mutter "We've been spotted", then one of the captains shouted "Prepare yourselves!". Rúna was panicing almost, this really was war, she didn't expect it to be like this.. what was she doing? But then the Elite noticed, and smirked whilst rbandishing his weapon, he said "We won't die here, they're vermin and easily killed. Think of it this way" as he spoke the ground far off rattled and rocks fell away from slopes. The elite finished with "They're ruining your life". And with that, the ground gave birth to an army of the undead, bones coming together, some in full bodies, other in abominatons that created skeletal spiders or giants, or even heads with legs. "If you need help our marks will let us know! Stay close!" the Lady announced.

From here they were make their way from Necro-valley to Hell's Gate, luckily they would not have to pass the Demon Forge or the City of the Damned. all they had to do was dwindle their numbers, make sure there was no demonic threat and if there was... annihilate it. The undead army was smaller than theire, afterall, there were only so many bodies here to use. And not far off the towers were holding the Necromancer leaders.

And oh, I know, the world of Real Emotion
Has surrounded me
I won't give into it
Now I know, that world
It is the only way my heart can go
I hear your voice calling out to me
You'll never be alone

If from time to time
It's an upward climb
All I know is that I must believe
Cause the truth I'm seeking
Always was inside of me

Runa thought her excited...the woman couldn't have been more wrong. Bloodholm was where they were headed. Not long ago, Kee'Da wouldn't have accepted any sort of payment, even if it set her up comfortable for the reset of her Scarred Life...she would have turned it down. She didn't want to set one food on the island let alone the Zepplin that wanted to tak her there.

Yet here she was boarding a sketchy vehicle to get her to the place of her nightmares. Course the the Zeeplin would have come in as her second nightmare...as Kee'Da only just realized that she got air sick. Fortunately it was horrid, that she was able to eventually settle in decently and not get pathetic stares and snide comments made her about how pathetic she was. Had all that with her already rising anxiety and edginess as they near Bloodholm and the redhead really wanted to sharpen her claws on someone's face.

Preferably any pervert that looked at her legs the wrong way.

Passing the deck near Kyne and Runa, they were finally landing and she could get off this death trap and jump into the per-verbal fire as it were. Giving their groups and their leadership received, Kee'Da grumbled...she doesn't do orders. But alas she may just have to as barely there they were already spotted, though managing to land at all was a feat in itself she had to admit.

"Necromancers..." she hissed out seeing the rising undead army thinking of two in particular that she hated dearly...one less so then the other but hoped she wouldn't have to see either of them.

"Come on...we got things to kill!" she yelled out springing into action and kicking and clawing her way through the bone army with ease; what she struck down not getting back up.

Rúna Ridus

Far beyond the hazy borders of my heart

The battle waged on, the hordes of the undead however were easily returned to the ground from which they came, it was teh curse of the Necromatic arts. The more there were to control, the less stable the bodies would become. But the Necromancers had a firm hold from their fortresses, their towers built in the crevaces usually hidden behind hills, rock formations and holes in the ground. Rúna managed to kick and punch her way through the bones, often jumping into the air or around them to dodge attacks and give a counter-attack. Arcane magic flew overhead, bullets blasted and blades slashes across bones. There were only few casualties so far.

"Ugh" Mor'laz sighed, standing in the dull and shabby library of his tower. He was lucky enough to have one of his own, but being one of the higher ranking necromancers came with it's perks. He was looking out the window at the distance, he saw the battle and wasn't expecting an assault quite so soon. Behind him were a a small elevated table with a pool of blood in a wide shallow bowl. "I was hoping some more time to prepare, but it would seem the Occulians are less than happy to see our Queen return..." he turned on his heel and looked at Sar'kona before rolling his eyes. "We should really get out there and make sure those imbociles don't become one of their own creations..." Mor'laz added, thinking about the necromancers who couldn't stand to see. "I'm sending in the Golem..." he finally said, walking up to the bowl of bood and taking a deep breath. He could feel the very power of the blood he had drained from his own body over the days that had passed, it resonated to Necromancers like a flame would to elementals, like light would pulsate and give the Syndicate hope and life. This gave Mor'laz power and destruction, at just the measly sacrifice. Pulling a chain that hung beside the table, the skull at the end went down and pulled back up and swung side-to-side as the blood began to drain from the bowl and leak down to the floor. It sunk into the cracks of the stone floor before descending deep into the earth. "Time to leave" he then asid, gesturing Kona to follow him to the fray.

The armies of Occulas had gotten far closer to the towers now, these were the only obstacles in their way before they marched to Hell's Gate, from which they could see the power of from just here. The horizon was twisting and a run glow was cutting through the clouds. The last of the skeletons were destroyed, and its bones scattered across the ground. Now they were staring up at the towers nearby, waiting for something to happen - for everything was far too silent. Rúna looked confused, and stared at Kyne and Kee'da for insight, perhaps they some bright ideas to suggest what may happen next. But still - she did now know their background, nor did she care. That was when the ground began to shake, and the earth itself began to groan like an old, dying beast, diseased, and with every movement it's bones would beg to break. Suddenly, the earth nearby tore away from it's home and limbs reached up and pulled the golem to life. Elsewhere the same happened, for each tower there was one, gigantic, bloody golem. Rúna couldn't believe her eyes, the rocks had come to life, and from them came fresh blood that dripped where ever it stood, and never stopped flowing. From not far behind this golem however, came two suspicious characters. Mor'laz, with his whip in hand, was not far off and staring into the groups of heroes, and he didn't even bare a grin or satisfaction.

_______________________________________Sar'Kɵna_______________________________________

Staring out of the window right along side his teacher, Sar'Kona had a grin across his face. Where his master was a bit irritated and annoyed with the poor timing of their enemy, he could care less. For he could smell her on the breeze...subtle and faint, but the feeling in his gut pulling at him. Like the urge to act in the back of his head purely out of instinct.

This only happened with one person.

"She's here...she's here..." he murmured under his breath. The time would come that they met though so Kona turned to Mor'laz's tasks. "I'm sure there's more things the Occulans are less then happy about," he snickered both for his comment but also for his teacher's mention of the golem.

Such a wonderful tool it was. He had contributed, however his skill was not that far yet really summon and manipulate a golem. Certainly one of his master's size. Regardless though he was gleeful of the prospect of seeing it finally in full battle, imagining the slaughter and chaos it was create as they left the tower.

Outside, Kee'Da had done her part by slicing through the horde that hindered them; making considerable progress regardless of their numbers which soon dwindled to nothing. Covered in minor cuts and bruises, the redhead looked ahead sniffing the air and feeling her instincts go haywire. It wasn't just her Scarred scenes...it was her untrained and very raw Necromancer scenes that were picking up something.

Something was coming...whipping her head around, red hair flying against the dark terrain like a beacon. "GET BACK!!!!" Split second later the ground shook and gave way to a new enemy made of rock and blood. "Damnit a Golem of all things...they're really starting to piss me off!"

That's when her keen cat eyes caught the figure behind it away from battle but close enough to be seen and observed. There was no mistaking them, neither of them for they were burned within her mind like a permanent brand on her flesh. Her back ached and pained her in memory of the figure and the whip in his hand.

"Mor'laz," Kee'Da growled out more like a feral animal then a humanoid that she was.

Kona standing at his teacher's side was practically vibrating with the glee he felt at seeing the redhead down there about to face off with the golem he had helped create. "Master...she's here; we can have some fun again. Kee'Da can't escape us a second time." Reflective quick silver eyes stared down at the woman before stepping forward slightly and raising his hands to his mouth and yelled. "ITS PLAY TIME DEAR SISTER!!!"

Kynε

Kole could not contain his mad chuckles as he rose one of the towers the necromancers had graciously provided in spite of Mor'laz's rebuttals. Everything was happening so quickly and it was to be a moment in his long life he would be sure to remember. When was the last time the demons had acted this aggressive? Was it the best time to resurrect... Kole snapped out of his train of thought and found himself standing halfway up the stairway. Then his memory renewed, smile and eyes widen, and he races up the stairs two at a time.

The salty air was thick with blood both humanoid and demonic. A terrible mix bringing Kyne to remember the last thing he ate but not in the way could understand. Skeletal pawns throwing themselves at the Entei elites was distressing, though more so was their ability to cause so much chaos this early. Kyne had to question the mage's hope before we had arrived to save his tower. What a cocky fool to have come across that way with troops such as these.
Gravel crunching under his boots with every step was a soothing contrast to the cries of pain and clashing metal. He was in no rush to enter the fray and then it hit him. The foul stench that easily overlapped the prior, an odor triggering old memories. His feet detonate the earth beneath as he dashes forward with tremendous speed. A line is cleanly cut through the walking bones suddenly stopping by Kee'Da with a quick expression asking if she needed assistance. Kole was surely waiting for him already and was not leaving any time soon.

The chair exploded against the wall as Kole quickly threw the one he sat on against the wall. His patience for his brother's arrival had him on nerve's end. Pacing the room was quickly adopted as the method to wait for him but this soon grew frustrating and tedious. Throwing the center table against another wall, he slumped into a nearby stool and stared into the fireplace. Alas dear brother, thou hath returned to me. Bearing my wings of flesh, as I adorn thy horns of stone. Alas dear brother, We will be one again. Kole's laughter echoed down the empty tower, out into the battlefield, far into the stone hills of the Necrovalley.

Rúna Ridus

Far beyond the hazy borders of my heart
I can see a place
It's something like this
Every now and then I don't know what to do
Still I know that I
Can never go back

Emerging from the horizon with their monster a far distance in front of them, Mor'laz and Kona stood like ominous statues. The apprentice took this time to announce that a long old friend was here, Mor'laz looked down at Sar'kona in bemusement. "Oh..." he began, looking back to the horizon where he saw the relatively small army sent from Occulas, he couldn't help from then saying "It's almost insulting to think they only sent that to control us..." Kona finally let out his war cry, letting it be known that it was indeed time. Without a movement, Mor'laz sent him Bloody Golem into the fray, it roared and began running with gigantic strides towards the Occulians.

Rúna noticed Kee'da discomfort and she had to ask quickly "Who? Who's Mor'laz?". But only moments after she heard someone call out from behind the golem, and then felt the ground tremor as the tremendous creature came towards them as fast as a truck. Mor'laz meanwhile heard a faint laughter echo from one of the Necromancer towers nearby, and he shook it off, thinking it was one of the other Necromancers being too confident in their wake, little did he know it was Kole. Arcane missiles collided with the giant, causing it to stumble back slightly in the blue explosions, but it was unscathed by the assault as it began t swipe down and kick at anything that came too close, covering the ground nearby with dark blood that dripped from its crevices. "It's vile" Rúna commented before running into the battle. She ran and jumped into the air, landing on the giant's shoulders and jumping once more but leaving behind a force that pushed the golem towards teh ground, unfortunately, as she descended from the air she noticed how her strength barely moved it. Swirling in the air she summoned a circle of orbs, and when she hit the ground the orbs shot out in all directions before finally circling back to directly hit the golem all at the same time! They only shattered some of it's body. That was when she noticed Mor'laz not far away, and without much thought decided to she attempt taking the commander on.

Mor'laz was still standing with Kona at his side, the apprentice hadn't left quite yet, they both had to wait for the right time to attack their foes when they were vulnerable, Necromancers were best picking off the half-dead victims rather than getting too filthy in the midst of war. But he noticed one woman running towards them, and surprised Mor'laz exhaled cheaply and muttered "we have a sacrifice". Rúna noticed him staring at her, but then also noticed how another was standing with the Necromancer, she realised that maybe she'd have to possess a weapon to get anything sorted around here. Biting her jaws together she took a giant leap into teh air, followed by a grey wispy essence behind her. She held a small purple crystal in her finger tips, no larger than a finger nail, and summoned it's power. Thoughts of her grandmother filled her mind as she soared the air, the crystal was a gift from her, and Rúna had never really used it before for anything serious. The crystal glowed and quickly transformed into a long polearm, made of a metal that had many shades of purple. Mor'laz was surprised, but he didn't panic, he swiped one hand and from the ground groans of teh dead emerged, and a thick wall of bone quickly exploded from the ground. Rúna had no time to react, she thought she was coming down onto of the necromancers, but instead she found her polearm plummeting into the wall and now she was hanging several storeys off the ground. Looking around she tried to think of what to do next but she was pulled into the wall by her own spear. She smashed through the bones and fell to the ground feet from Mor'laz, who's whip let go off the spear and snapped back to his side. Rúna rolled and eventually stopped as dust settled, leaving her coughing.

Mor'laz had not battled for such a long time, he looked forward to showing the Necromancers what he was capable of. They often thought he had no experience, but he knew that he should never give away his secrets.

And oh, I know, the world of Real Emotion
Has surrounded me
I won't give into it
Now I know, that world
It is the only way my heart can go
I hear your voice calling out to me
You'll never be alone

If from time to time
It's an upward climb
All I know is that I must believe
Cause the truth I'm seeking
Always was inside of me
